Wow wow wow. Melissa is a consummate professional and expert at her craft. I actually responded to a brow model post on Instagram and am I ever glad I did, I had no idea how happy I could be with a short procedure that has a lasting effect up to 18 months. I had asymmetrical brows from over plucking and had always attempted correcting them with a brow pen and powder, but never had them look even close to as good as what I achieved at Covet Artistry. Note - she is also an amazing instructor, I was so impressed with her guidance to her student (yes the student worked on my brows as well). She was patient calm and gave good instructions and was watching closely the whole time. I never felt nervous that her student was performing the work, it was obvious she had been taught a great deal of technique and had a lot of practice as well. I would definitely recommend Melissa! She is so warm and friendly, and I felt really comfortable having her do my brows. My skin didn't want to take to the pigment, but she made sure I was happy with my brows and took care of me when my skin was having issues after with the pigment setting. Now my brows look great! So happy with my microbladed brows. The process start to finish was only 1 hour and 15 minutes. That included paperwork, numbing, consult and the procedure. The office is so clean and has a comfortable but clinical feel to it. Everything was very professional and clean. I felt very comfortable during the procedure but most importantly I felt like I was in control of exactly how my brows would look and if I needed more numbing. I first got my eyebrows microbladed by Melissa in December and then I got my first touch up by her in February and it’s been an amazing experience. The first time I got them done the pigment didn’t take much in the ends of my brows and when I went back for my first touch up she was able to put more on the ends and I’m now completely healed and they’re looking AMAZING! I haven’t had to fill in my eyebrows at all. I’m so glad I was able to get in with her before this whole pandemic and before the summer. Love, love, love the result and my experience with Melissa at Covet! After MUCH research, I chose to go to Covet for my first ever microblade last spring. Melissa was so professional and knowledgeable and her studio was immaculate, but not sterile in its feel. I wanted natural looking brows, my brows, not fad brows. I also wanted my brows to be colour specific to me. Melissa clearly has colour theory knowledge and was very attuned to what I described. She executed my wishes perfectly! My brows looked great immediately and still do. The colour has held very well and the shape is all naturally mine. I went back to Melissa yesterday for the liner procedure, and I was not disappointed. Her lines are precise and crisp and the procedure itself was not painful at all. I've been feeling really bad about my eyebrows for a couple of years. Every time I take a selfie or see pics of myself I think, "this doesn't look like me". I had very thick eyebrows when I was younger and, thanks to an overly enthusiastic waxer (the style was thin brows back in the day) an unfortunate eyebrow ring, and aging, they were thin and sparse. I just assumed I'd have to live with it because I don't generally wear makeup and I'm not skilled enough to try to draw them on every day (and frankly too lazy). I also had this idea in my head that I can't do anything cosmetic because that would mean I am vain or shallow. I want to age gratefully and I love every single one of my wrinkles! This felt incompatible, and still kinda does, to be honest. The thing is, in this after picture what you can't see is the tears I had to wipe away before she took the pictures because when I saw myself in the mirror I looked like me again. Right from the start her friendly, cheerful and professional disposition made me feel comfortable and reassured. Their studio is very cozy, private and spotless. At the consult we explored brow shape options and she diligently listened to my requests and concerns. Then she drew them on and finetuned to the best shape for me. The day of the microblading was stress free as I already knew what I would be getting. She made sure of my comfort even offered me a nice trow to keep nice and warm. Her work is without reproach, she regularly asked if the numbing was enough and reapplied as many times as necessary. Her work is precise and fast with incredible result. Couldn’t be happier ! I was a little nervous from a previous experience where I had asked for natural but left with big dramatic brows and I ended up scrubbing the pigments out immediately following the appointment. I was worried for nothing! Melissa put me completely at ease during the initial eyebrow design phase. She showed me a few different options and tweaked the design until it was exactly what I wanted. And then she went to work and completely nailed it!!! I left the studio feeling amazing and they are so natural-looking that I don't need to hide during the healing phase. If you are on the fence, go see Melissa. You won't regret it!

I use to get my eyebrows tinted for over 12 years, and I have come out looking like an angry bird each time and had to wait for the tint to fade off for my brows to look normal. Maybe some can relate to what I am talking about. I have always been sceptical about getting my eyebrows micro bladed, mostly because your eyebrows are kinda on your face and if someone was to mess up it would be…..well horrific really. Melissa is literally the best in Kelowna. Her studio is in a fantastic location and is very warm and welcoming. You can tell she takes pride in her work, and clearly comes from an art background.
