10/10 Mom friendly environment. This was the first shop I ever got tattooed in. Today, I came in to get a traditional “Mom” tattoo. Connor did my piece, came out clean and crisp and barely even hurt! Now, I can’t wait for the summer to be blessed by a piece of London’s work! デンセツ の 人 for real. It was nice to come back and revisit a place that ignited a love for a such a magnificent craft. And to the sensitive baby who rated the place one measly star for seeing a bit of accidental butt crack: 1. Grow a pair. There are actual problems in the world 2. Youre supposed to say “thank you”

My friend and I went to get a tattoo for the first time about a month ago . At first the tattoos looked great but a few days after we realized something didn't look right.. Now a month later we have been to 2 other tattoo places and both locations we went to told us we have permanent scarring. So bottom line do your research before ..!!

When I first started coming here it was great. By my 3rd tattoo from here I will never step foot near them again. I got a pretty important tattoo done by London. I trusted him with it and severely regret it. From start to finish the whole experience was awful. I arrived early as I didn't drive at the time and had nowhere else to go and he was finishing up with another client. By the time my appointment time came he still wasn't done with the client. I get it sometimes we run over time, that's fine. What's not fine is that he had not even finished the stencil for my piece. It was a basic drawing that he had for a while and he finished the stencil with me there and we got it to the right size. During the appointment he constantly got up and went out for a smoke with his apprentice. I get it, everyone needs breaks, but what should have been a shorter appointment ended up taking way too long. As asked by London I came back the next day to have the bandage removed. He was not there and his apprentice removed the bandage. When she removed it she remarked to her friend that was there that she has never removed bandages, to see what the tattoo was looking like, for a coloured line tattoo. So if you haven't done that before why would you when London wasn't there? The tattoo consisted of a lot of blue. It was not my first experience with colour, but my first time with actual blue. A day later I was advised by a friend who has had a lot of experience with tattoos that it looked infected. It was bubbled up and the blue was turning green. I sent a quick picture to London and he said I should come down to have it looked at. I told him I can be there within 5-10 minutes. I was at work on my lunch and was wanting to get it looked at quickly. He said he wasn't there but to have his apprentice look at it. The same one who said she hasn't removed from coloured line tattoos. I asked when he would be back and he said he was answering emails from home. I went to a walk-in after that conversation as I was scared of it getting worse. The doctor inspected it, marked the area all around my arm that was swollen and sore and said I had a skin infection. If after using the antibiotics the swelling went outside of those lines I would need an intravenous drip. Luckily with the antibiotics the swelling went down and it healed. The whole time I wanted to chop my arm of, it hurt so bad. When is healed it looked awful. I now have huge chunks that fell out because it was packed in too deep and was so infected. The whole tattoo looks like he did not care about any line and that he just wanted it done. Either I had a reaction to the blue or something went wrong when it was done. Either way he was the one I wanted to see the infection as HE choose the colour and HE did the tattoo. I was very disappointed and hope no one experiences what I did. Do your research people.

Super nice. The artists they take the job really seriously and professionally. I've just had mine done, not London, but his student is awesome. Feel totally accomplished and satisfied. I'm defly thinking about coming back to have other tattoos done (before leaving back for Europe). And yes, the price is afforadable :) If you're having your first tattoo, no doubt this is the best place so far. Minus point: hope the guy has better photographic skills when taking my pictures :/

He is a skilled tattooer. I always have a nice time while there, he has a great taste in music to play and I love every tattoo he has designed for me. He was highly recommend to me by friends, and has an excellent portfolio. :)

The line work is awful, my tattoo is missing ink all over the place. When we called to get a touch up they were rude and unprofessional. My initial reaction to this shop was amazing. Now that I see the result of what I am left with, I will not be returning here again.

Weirdsville is an amazing shop, best around in my opinion. Both London and Sam are very welcoming and friendly, and the artwork they produce is fantastic. I highly reccomend this shop as my best tattoos have come from these guys. I have never seen such creative ideas come from people before, if you go into weirdsville for a tattoo, expect to leave with one a hundred times better than expected. Plus london tattooed the palm of my hand, three months in and no fall out at all. Quite impressive.

Throughout this process London has kept professional and hygienic standards high similar to any medical environment, ensuring clients are always extremely comfortable and welcomed. His Japanese artwork is unique, personal, and extremely beautiful and skill in tebori is beyond anything I can find in Ontario. To mention the comment below, Dev that was my butt. London has been working on my sleeve for the last few months and the whole process has been phenomenal. The first time we met he sat down with me for the better half of an evening to refine what exactly I was looking for with my sleeve and traced my arm from shoulder to wrist. When I finally saw the design I was blown away by what he had drawn. It was everything I asked for and then some, and he took care to make sure it flowed well with my arm too. We're over 60% done at this point and the highlight of my week is looking forward to making more progress! I'm extremely happy with my experience at Weirdsville! I had called asking what their availability was over the next couple weeks because I was planning on leaving town to go back to school, but I had wanted to get a tattoo before I left. London was able to get me an appointment about a week after that phone call - he's very accommodating. When I went in for my consultation to discuss what I wanted (I wanted a piece to honour my parents) he had asked me to send him some info about my parents so that the tattoo could be as personalized as possible. I appreciate this kind of effort and detail that goes into his work. He was very helpful in choosing the ideal placement based off of what design I wanted as well. It has now been 3 weeks since I got my tattoo and it's fully healed and looks amazing! 10/10 would recommend!

I have a couple tattoos from different artists/shops but this is my first tattoo from London Slade and also my first time getting a tattoo at weirdsville. In my experience, I’ve always been just slightly intimidated by tattoo artists, even to the point where I changed a location on one of my tattoos at the artist’s non-stop urging and I still regret it to this day. London was nothing like that. Super kindly, he advised me with extensive knowledge about the placement he thought was best but he made it clear that it’s totally up to me. He didn’t make me feel bad and even encouraged me to go with what I wanted. I really appreciated that he was so open to working with me even if he didn’t necessarily agree with me. London took the time to show me the cleanliness of his station, and the closed packaging for the needles and razors. I saw him wipe down and sanitize the entire area. I know that’s standard for any good shop but it’s worth mentioning! I read some of the negative reviews for weirdsville and honestly it sounds to me like it was not the artist or the shop but the improper after care on the client’s part. London provided me (as I’m sure he does all his clients) with basically a minute by minute aftercare plan and even said if I had any questions/concerns, someone would get back to me right away or I was more than welcome to come into the shop. Also I should mention that my tattoo was a cover up which was executed flawlessly. The lines are sooo clean and the shading is dope. I’m really happy with my tattoo and honestly, I won’t go to another shop or a different artist again.

I am so glad I’ve waited this long to get my tattoo! After talking to all of my friends, family and even boyfriend, it was a no brainer that I at least come in and inquire at this shop! After talking to both Sam and London, we had all agreed I be set up to get tattooed with London. I’ve never been so proud tho wear a tattoo as I am now!
