Oh my goodness. First of all Kalyna is such a sweet soul and makes you feel so so welcome. She is a beauty on the inside and out not to mention AMAZING at what she does. She made me feel super comfortable as I was initially a little nervous about getting microblading done for the first time but my fears washed right away as soon as a walked into her warm and beautiful shop. Back to the brows...LOL. She did a gorgeous job and made them look very natural as I don't wear much make up on the daily and didn't want them to look out of place with my minimal make up routine. They are beautiful in every way and I am so grateful that a couple of my good friends recommended her to me. Truly the best of the best. Thank you Kalyna - I love love love my brows.

After reading such positive reviews on her website I booked a microblading appointment with Kalyna in Nov 2016. The wait list was so long to see her that the earliest date available was in Sep 2017. That's right! I was willing to wait 10 months to see her, that's how much I thought of her talent! I booked a consultation for August, 1 month before my microblading session. My appointment was at 9:15am. I read on her website that she does not see clients if they are late, so I made sure to be on time. Driving almost 2 hours to see her, I got there shortly before 9am. When I arrived the lights were off and the door was locked. I waited outside, adjacent to the front door. I saw a woman walk over, I had never met Kalyna in person, but assumed it was her, as the woman looked vaguely like the photos on her website. She quickly opened the door, let herself in and locked the door within seconds, not even acknowledging me standing there. My boyfriend was standing next to me and was in disbelief that a reputable business owner could be so rude to her clients. I tried to reason that maybe she didn't see us standing by the door or she was in a rush to get inside and prepare for the day's appointments. I tried not to let this interaction, or lack thereof, affect my opinion of her. Shortly after Kalyna went inside, two other staff members walked by. They were courteous and greeted me and another client who was also waiting outside. They knocked on the door and Kalyna let them in. I stood outside a few more minutes to see if Kalyna or one of the other employees would invite us to come in. Eventually I opened the door and the other client and I went inside. Shortly after, I was called for my consultation. I thought that my eyebrow shape would be discussed and the measurements taken so I could see what the "after" shape would look like. I assumed the pre-procedure and post-procedure aftercare would be discussed in detail. Kalyna was very vague, not offering much informative dialogue. She explained that the shape would be discussed during my actual appointment, not during the consult. She seemed distracted and flighty and even asked if my accent was "natural". I wasn't even sure how to respond to that question, having never been asked that before. I left feeling disappointed and honestly found it to be a waste of time, but I still paid the $40 consultation fee. This was to be applied to the cost of the microblading service which I was to return for a month later. About 2 weeks before my microblading service, I received an email, not a phone call, from Kalyna advising me that due to medical reasons she would be canceling my upcoming appointments. This included my microblading service booked for Sep and my follow up appointment booked for Oct. I politely responded and thanked her for letting me know. I told her I would rebook the service for the earliest available date. One would assume this was something she would have offered to do! But to no surprise she didn't try to accommodate me at all. Her appointments were booked through to the following September. This meant that I would now be waiting an additional year to have the microblading done in Sep 2018. She offered to provide me with the names and contact info of some other aestheticians if I decided to book with someone else. In my response I told her that I would appreciate the information so I can look into some other options as I wasn't sure I wanted to wait another year to have the procedure done by her. I waited a few days and never heard back, so I researched other providers in my area. I emailed her and let her know that I decided to book with another provider. I requested a partial refund for my consultation as I had explained that since I booked the consultation with the expectation that the cost would be applied to my microblading service and that the appointment was canceled by her, I felt that I should have been reimbursed for the money I paid. It's been almost 2 months and she has not refunded my payment. I'm very disappointed in her lack of professionalism and integrity!

Let me tell ya, I’m an anxious basket case to begin with. I show up for my appointment to get my eyebrows microbladed and im freaking out! I’m literally an everything brow virgin, never had them waxed, never really filed them in.... but I’ve been following Kalyan’s work for 3 years now ans I’ve decided to take the leap. Kalyna made sure to know exactly what I wanted. She was comforting and patient. My natural brows were very fair so let me tell you, the first week of healing was a rollercoater of emotions for me. On day 4, I was on the verge of tears. They looked soooooo dark!!! Kalyna had told me to trust her, that the color would be very subtle and natural when they are completely healed. But honestly on that day I was panicking. My husband was shaking at in disbelief.. “what did you do” He said.... I wanted to crawl in a hole lol that day I messaged Kalyna. There are pretty much no words to explain how impressed I am with my brows!! I had my eyebrows first microbladed in July 2018. They were perfect!!???? I did not need much of a touch up after 6 weeks but the extra care from Kalyna at both appointments were exceptional. I decided in Dec 2018 that I wanted to upgrade to the hybrid brows. (Not because my original microbladed brows were not up to par but because I wanted more of a full look). My appointment was at 930 and I showed up a bit early but the building was open and Kayla was there with a smile on her face expecting me! The procedure was not long and my new brows are beyond amazing! I love how Kalyna met all my requests and I cant wait to see what the healed result will be.
