Great and friendly place, and they support local charities (Autism Awareness Month/flash tattoo day every April, etc.) As well as always going above and beyond in terms of cleanliness and friendliness. Two thumbs up!

After reading a disturbing review that includes false accusations, I decided I would write my own. I work in retail and I get asked all the time where I get my tattoos done, because they look awesome. I always recommend people go there for their tattoos and piercings as everyone is knowledgeable, clean, and customer service driven. The owner, Spike, is a very talented and friendly gentleman (don't be fooled by the name!). He does the majority of my tattoos. Each artist has their specialties and unique styles and that's something I've always loved about Lost Anchor, even when they were Studio 13 years ago. Every time I go in, I'm greeted with familiar smiles. The whole shop is a work of art. The artwork on the walls (which are not portraits of male genitalia) is super cool and just goes to show you that the people here are more than just *tattoo* artists. The whole shop has a really neat pirate ship theme. The shop has won many awards, notably the Readers Choice Award when they were located in Oshawa. However, in the past (yeeeears ago) 2 questionable artists were hired. One an apprentice who didn't put out very good work and the other an established artist who did nice work but had an extremely bad attitude. They are now gone, and everyone in the shop is SO friendly, nice, and TALENTED. Even their new apprentice Jaynie! I love the little piece I got by her. <3 Take it from someone who's posting with a real name and not someone who's clearly jealous & hiding behind a pseudonym/fake account.

Excellent customer service. Mayggie returned phone call, asked all the right questions, and organized appointment explaining changes in policy due to safety measures associated with Covid-19. The shop was spotless. The smiles behind the masks were evident. The tattoo work by Mike was spectacular. Highly recommend them whether you are a first time or experienced at receiving ink art. You will not be disappointed. Lots of parking. Nice pub next door to grab a snack while a friend gets theirs was an added bonus.

I attended this location because my daughter had a weird bump coming from her nose ring. The attention that we got from the piercer Andre was exceptional and on top of that, it wasn't even his work. We got the work done at another place in Oshawa. Andre is knowledgable, friendly and very caring. He wanted to ensure that my daughters piercing healed properly and he didn't care that he wasn't the initial piercer. I will definitely go back.

Did their best. could not help due to circumstances inherent in the day itself. ???? but my jumpin golly gosh, did they ever send me to right place as properly as they could, knowing full well I wasn't the place that could help me with a very urgent very well prepared walk in tattoo made of confusing amounts of joy ???? anyways. tldr; the humans here are the best kind to get inked up by. Never get a tattoo from someone who doesn't want to give you time to explain what you need. especially if, like all tattoos inherent nature, only get it done if you like how and where it looks. take your time shop minimums exist even for very small pieces because no matter how small, they will still need to get paid for the job of making sure they literally do a good job of putting your art in you. think of tattoo givers like a printer for inside. your skin. ???? thanks stabby art humans for helping me find a perfect art human I'll have to come show you my skin art next time I'm there! ????

I recently finished my tattoo at lost Anchor. I would like to thank Bones again for completing my tattoo. Had a great experience with here it’s a very clean environment. I Bones took a lot of time with me to better understand what I wanted but like any true artist came up with ideas to help improve on my tattoo. Bones will be the only artist I go to now. I would like to personally thank Lost Anchors owner for employing people like Bones. I had a bad experience with a tattoo parlour in Oshawa (not going to mention where) coming here was the best thing I did.

I got my monroe pierced here & it turned out really well. Friendly staff, clean atmosphere to go to. Andrae will guide you through the piercing process and good aftercare procedure too. Everything is freshly used & the jewlery used is really good quality too :)

Some staff were unfriendly, my artist seemed mad when I didn't like his drawing over my own. I mean I am paying for it, let me get what I want. While he was doing my tat, another staff member came, took a peek at the tattoo on my back and both looked at each other, and silently chuckled. I could tell they didn't like my own idea. I wouldn't go back here at all.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! I've had both piercings and tattoos done here. The staff was great, everything was incredibly hygienic (they open everything in front of you, show you the expiry dates and make sure you understand care instructions.) They encourage you to come back if you ever have an issue with any of the art that they do. I could not recommend this parlour highly enough!

hi all, i have had significant amounts of work done at lost anchor by Bones, and i have to say my experiences with Bones and the entire staff at lost anchor have been amazing, my calves are done, my half sleeve celtic armor arm pieces, all amazingly done with excellent levels of detail and care taken to develop them from art renderings to tattoo, looking forward to my upcoming appointments as we expand on my celtic armor and begin the chest plates, from there its onto the restoration and completion of my back, thanks Bones and thanks lost anchor, great experience all around and my art work looks amazing thanks do much gareth
