I went here with my daughter for cartilage piercing so my review is from my point of view, the place is clean the staff friendly they answered all the questions I asked. Jewelry and needle are sterilized by EO and everything is a single use. The chair and table are sanitized after a client leave the room so is clean before other person walk in.

Got my ears pierced here in 2018 and it went very well. But things have changed. I took my gf here recently and the piercings went very unwell (due to bad luck) but within 12 hours we were back at the shop getting it fixed. One of the piercings ultimately didn't work out and the other has had a lot of issues. I appreciate the owners for being so kind and going out of their way to fix the issues that arose but I hope they consider adding a true piercer to their team.

Kyle did 2 different tattoos for me within 3 weeks. The first one was a total custom piece. We met 3 times to get the design just right and he nailed it. The 2'nd was a re-work of a tattoo I had done many years ago. He totally brought it back to life. I am very happy with the results and Kyle is top notch in my books. The studio itself is fantastic. You feel right at home when you walk in. It is a friendly environment and super clean. I would highly recommend Ink is Art and Kyle in particular.

I went to Ink is Art for my first tattoo and it was a great experience. I worked with Evan and he took the time during our consult to go over the design with me and answer all my questions about the procedure and the after care. When I came in to have it done he made sure I was comfortable with the equipment etc and took lots of time to make sure the design was just what I wanted. I never felt rushed looking at the stencils in the mirror and Evan was happy to re-apply to get the look just right. Highly recommended. Thanks for a great first tattoo, see you again soon ;)

I have been getting my tattoos done by christine for a while now, and i have never had a negative experience! christine does beyond amazing work, and i dont think i have ever talked to anyone that has ever had a complaint about christine or her shop. The shop is very clean and i have never not felt comfortable while being there. christine always makes sure that what she has stenciled out is exactly what i want, and if she thinks the placement isnt going to work well with what i want, she is always open to tell me that. which is very very helpful, not many tattoo places will do that. Again, i would NEVER go to another tattoo shop because i love christines shop and the work that christine does is again, AMAZING! she is an awesome tattoo artist along with her staff are also amazing people and tattoo artists, and they make you feel extremely comfortable while there!!!! :) if anyone has any thing bad to say about christine or ink is art tattoo lounge, id say they are crazy, or they are mistaking ink is art tattoo lounge for a different shop! :) CHRISTINE, PLEASE KEEP UP YOUR AMAZING WORK !!!!! The staff was really friendly and the area was very clean. Jenn that did my helix piercing was very kind and informative during the whole procedure and was a really fun person to talk too. If you go for a piercing definitely ask for Jenn, she makes the whole experience a lot more chill and fun. Would definitely go back again.

I don't even know were to begin.. Great Studio and Christine and Kyle are great artist. took my ideas and worked out a great custom piece for me.. I was sent in after looking at may shop in Whitby.. was not impressed with any of them, artist were creepy and rude with my wife and I..and Some shops were just down right dirty.. However Ink Is Art Tattoo Lounge is very clean and very welcoming. .. it has a art gallery feel and has a lounge area to sit and relax and have coffee (free I might add) seems like people droping in just to say hi talk with them and get ideas for up coming work.. Both Artist made time for everyone that came in and made everyone feel like life long friends.. I was taken back by this. they took the time to walk me through the whole process and showed me the supplies they used. and went through the cleaning process as I mentioned the other shop in south Whitby and how it looked. I got some great work by Christine and have booked more work.. I,m really happy to send people to them.. work it some of the best.. and the studio as they call it, its nothing short of being the best tattoo shop I have even walked into..

I had 2 tattoos done by Christine I love the colours and detail she put into my tattoos the second tattoo was a redo as the first one was done at the number one ranked tattoo place and the artist did not listen to my request of colors and ended up with a mouth not a butterfly. Thank goodness Christine was able to fix it. Now I have ink that I am proud of. Ink is art is a 10 ranking in my book very professional establishment with fabulous customer service. This place is a joke. Christine has only been tattooing for 2 years. She is a liar.She has no previous experience in tattoos or piercings. You can tell by the quality of work that comes out of Ink is art lounge. She tattooed my face.!! She ruined my face!! That was not ethical.She has no clue how to tattoo. Watch out Christina you will get sued, I hope you have a good lawyer!!
