Great overall experience at this shop. The artists are friendly and the atmosphere is professional and chill. I'm not a local but I made the drive to see Kyle Stennitt for his super clean script work. He did an Old English style phrase on my leg and it couldn't have been executed better - people tell me it looks like a sticker or like a machine did it. I was really put at ease by his genuineness, patience, and precision: 10/10 would recommend him as an artist and will definitely be back for more work from him in the future.

One brought a pic in, Jay did it to perfection. 2nd needed a touch up on an existing piece-made it look better than I thought possible. 3rd went in with a vague idea of what I wanted, Jay was more than helpful, he listened to what I wanted and nailed it. I had my last tattoo done here and the day after it was done, it was all smudged up during the healing process. It's simply unfixable even for a touch up. :( it was like this before I took off the plastic the very next day and I hoped it wouldn't be smeared underneath but turns out it's totally botched for good. He didn't do anything to help. Rather he only justified his work saying this hasn't happened to anybody else he ever tattooed and that he wants to help the situation but never did respond to my last message as I was clearly unhappy. Guess it just sucks to be me!!

I was tattooed by @kyle.stennitt and I am more than pleased with the final product. He gave me a good deal on an original flash piece I seen on his instagram. I was booked in less than a month. He was extremely patient and understanding. He made sure my piece was symmetrical and would take a step back to continue to check his own work. Not once did he make me feel rushed. He made a point to remind me that it's on my body forever and that he is more than happy with working with me to find the perfect placement. He had a very gentle hand and made a very painful tattoo do-able in one sit. I would definitely be tattooed by him again in the future. As for the shop, the atmosphere is very chill and laid back. All the artists there are like family. I can't tell you how many times they made me laugh during my appointment. It was my first time in this shop and working with Kyle and I would definitely recommend both the shop and his services to anyone. He made a 5+ hour rib tattoo a cake walk.

This was my first tattoo, at the age of 62. I had been in many other tattoo studios but I never actually got one til now. No other place made me feel as welcome, at home and comfortable as the staff at Heart 2 Hand did. I am utterly thrilled with the work that Kyle did. He listened to my ideas, expanded on them and gave me something that is, as my husband put it - "totally me". I am thrilled with it and my experience. Not only will I be back for more, but my husband now wants to go in to get his old tattoo fixed up and my youngest daughter is ready for her first one. I don't know maybe my tatoo will grow on me, I thought I loved it, the lines are impressively clean and straight, shop was clean with a positive fun atmosphere. My tatoo artist, a great guy with an outgoing personality makes you feel like hes been your friend for years.. But My tatoo wasnt exactly what I wanted, what I looked at over and over for a year and a half, its was generically re-designed with little understanding of its story. The importance the AV nodes and waves of the cardiac rhythm meant and how the heart pulled it all together. I was so novice to understanding what to expect from my custom peice and thought this was how it had to be, generic not exact. I'm not sure if it can be fixed or in time possibly covered up. Its forever on my body and all I could do is cry ???? but Its on me, i have to own it. I ok'd what he proposed, even altered the heart he had originally chosen while generically making somthing LIKE my design on a computer. I didnt know..it looked neat on the screen then transferred print to my arm and in the moment I lost sense of what my original custom designed tatoo meant to me!...and for that I have to own it, fix it and move on.. Would I say my 1st tatoo was a bad experience, absolutely not the experience was great but the soul of my tatoo was lost in this experience. I feel like the heart and sole of a tatoo is supposed to come from the artist and, we lost this somehow in my experience. .

The owner has a few rewards on the wall from conventions they both have at least 20 years experience and are very particular with there work and very clean and sufficient the apprentice/receptionist is soo friendly I 100% recommend this place hands down and will be returning ????

I had Big Kev tattoo me recently. Not only was Kevin’s work second to none, but his friendly and enthusiastic personality made me very comfortable getting the work done. His design and work left me speechless and the almost 5 hours of time we spent together flew by! During the day I think I met everyone at the shop and they all struck me as genuinely happy people and their work speaks for itself! I will be back for more work and will recommend this shop to anyone who asks!

Kevin is definitely one of the top tattoo artists in Ontario.. He made the experience a fun one and my Shamrock tattoo that he gave me is the best shamrock I ever seen.. Definitely a highly skilled artist!

After waiting a 3 months for my appointment, which is reasonable with covid lockdowns and delays, I was able to see Jay. The facility was clean and everyone was taking covid precautions. Very few people were in the building. My tattoo took up a lot of Jay's time, but he never rushed. He spent a long time going over the design to make sure it was perfect. Also he took his time tattooing and making sure my sensitive skin could handle it. I could not be more happy with my tattoo and experience. My other 2 small black tattoos cause much more pain, this one was very minimal and I can only attest that to Jay's years of experience, and his genuine care for people. His co-workers were super friendly, and the place really has a homey/family feel vs the rough tattoo shop stereotype. Jay's ability to take my vision and turn it into the most amazing work of art is mind blowing. I am grateful that I get to have his art on me forever. I would never go to any other tattoo shop after my positive experience here. If you want to be treated with kindness and consideration at a clean and inviting facility than this is 100% the place to go! The price was also very very reasonable, and really low in consideration to Jays experience and ability.

I've had the pleasure of meeting and getting two tattoos by Kevin this summer (@motherswishestattoo). The first one was a black and gray rose hand tattoo that he absolutely did a perfect job doing. He took my idea I gave him and ran with it; drew something up that is so unique and well done. If you looking to get a black and grey, rose or a hand tattoo Kevin is the guy you want doing it as he is the best around for doing those styles. My second tattoo Kevin did was a new school style, the design and the colours Kevin did for this tattoo makes it pop and look so good and clean. I get comments all the time about the colour and how much it stands out (which is what you want to hear for new school). This just shows that Kevin can do many styles of tattooing and will always knock it out of the park. Not only does Kevin do amazing work that will leave you happy and smiling, the time you spend with him and talking to him during the tattoo will turn any day into a great one. Kevin's upbeat and larger than life personality will have you smiling and laughing the whole time which is a nice distraction from the pain. You can not go wrong with booking with Kevin has you'll get exactly what you want and have a great time getting it done.
