Came here to get a small tattoo on my wrist last week. They are super nice and helpful, Jake was very nice and patient, I wanted to see how my tattoo looks like in different sizes and he patiently made different stencils so that I can decide. They also have a lot of books and artworks for you to choose from, a nice seating area. Definitely reccommend it!

Me and my mom went on Saturday for the 1st time to get our tattoos done. We were as scared as you can be but after meeting with Jake, it was the most pleasant experience for us. He was friendly and very professional; he knows what he is doing and he made sure every step of the way we understood what was happening. Our tattoos looked so beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Just got a tattoo today! The artists are very nice, creative and friendly. It is also very clean! They even show you everything such as the needle so you know it is very hygienic! The staff is also very caring of their customers, i became dizzy and sick due to my anxiety and one of the artists ran down to the store and got me a whole bag of snacks and drinks! Then I was able to wait until I was ready again wothout any issues. A definite go again!

I recently got a diamond on my wrist and the line work is amazing. Words can not discribe how satisfied I am with the talent my artist put into this piece. The store owner and fell staff members are extremely kind. They treat with with the up most respect and they also treat you like your part of their family. The worst place in ajax to get a tattoo. My mom, sister, and myself came in to get a small tattoo and the tattoo artists laughed at our design and also made us come back a number of times due to lack of needles and ink! Also after a week from getting the tattoos the three of us noticed that they had disappeared...even tho we had taken proper care of them.

This place is great, sterilization and customer service is on point. I had my 5 month olds ears pierced there. Jake had patience and understanding he did such an amazing job. At the beginning, I had an idea about what I wanted, but I was not too sure. Jake spent many hours drawing my ideas to figure out what would be the Best option with respect to my body and interests. He really took his time to make sure that everything is PERFECT! Jake can even go Beyond your EXPECTATIONS to make your TATTOOS more PERFECT! Creativity and Patience optimize a Tattoo artist's work just like Jake! In brief, Jake did not only draw Fantastic and Magnificent tattoos on my body, but also created a New Me! A big thank you also to Alex who fixed my belly button that had previous infections due to piercings years ago by other piercers in Montreal. A little out of our way since we live in Thornhill, but this tattoo place was recommended by a friend Mauricio. Scheduled an apt for Fri Aug 30th afternoon. Amazing artists who were down to earth. Quick and efficient when it came to designing what we wanted. Clean workspace and organized. Would recommend Sebastian and John. Both took special attention to explain tattoo after-care. Will be seeing them within the next 6 months for the free touch-ups. Looking forward to getting our next tattoos!

This place is absolutely amazing! For my first tattoo, I was very nervous and concerned about cleanliness, harmful chemicals in the ink and of course, if it would hurt. I contacted Sandi (the owner) via email and asked about vegan, non chemical ink and she responded within hours with a detailed response, with links/references backing up every thing she was saying. Sandi explained how they are very serious about cleanliness at Dragon Ink and that they do offer vegan ink with no metals or harmful chemicals, just natural ingredients. She was very pleasant and was very patient on answering my countless questions and supported me every step of the way. Sandi went out of her way to assist and provide exceptional service to me. When I got there, a gentleman named Alex, was very helpful and understanding about what design I wanted (my son's name in cursive writing). After a couple of drafts, it was perfect. Brian, the tattoo artist, was awesome; a very talented artist and made sure I was comfortable while reassuring me from start to finish. He opened the needle in front of me and showed me everything before beginning. This place deserves an award for not only their customer service but for the skills, quality and experience that Brian brings. Dragon Ink made my first tattoo experience a memorable one! My son loved the tatt!! If you are looking to get your first tattoo or even another one, believe me when I say, visit this place first and speak with them...you will not regret it. I drove over 45 minutes to come to Dragon Ink and it was well worth it! After all, tattoos are for life so I wanted to make sure I go to the best. Just a thought, for those of you looking to get inked for the first time and are wondering about after care, Brian and Alex explain what needs to be done to make sure you don't get an infection and minimize cracking and itchiness. What worked for me is the following: Use the ointment Brian and Alex advise for the first 48 hours, keep it clean (wash with unscented soap and apply the ointment - in the morning and in the evening). Afterwards, I solely used coconut oil (after washing/cleaning the area every morning and evening) replacing the ointment and I had no scaling, itchiness or any reactions. Expect the healing process to take anywhere from 3-4 weeks. Of course, everyone is different and reacts differently, therefore do what works for you. Thank you Sandi, Alex and of course Brian for everything! Anyone who sees my tattoo compliments it and immediately ask where I got it done. Highly recommend this place!

I just moved to Durham region from the GTA and was looking for a piercer in the area when I happened upon Dragon Ink. I had no idea what I was walking into and was genuinely surprised in the best way and every way. From the moment I walked in I had some random thoughts of some piercings I wanted to get, and the receptionist (Brittany!) was SUPER helpful and patient with me as I decided. I met the piercer (Alex!!) and was immediately comfortable with him. He was incredibly knowledgeable and gave me great advice when considering the placement of my piercings. The first piercing I had done was my septum, and it was FLAWLESS. The needle literally went through like butter, and it was the EASIEST piercing I've ever had done (I've had 30+ piercings). The second piercing I had done was my conch, which was another equally flawless experience. Cartilage piercings always hurt a bit more, but Alex has a steady piercing hand which makes a HUGE difference. Honestly had a 10/10 experience I will 100% be going back to Alex for my other future piercings. The service is amazing, and the pricing is totally fair. Everything about this place and the people who work there is a big YES from me.

Took my 2 year old and 3 year old daughters to have their ears pierced. The team was amazing. Jake was very professional and really good with my girls. While my older daughter was calm and brave, my younger daughter was nervous and kicked up a bit of a fuss. Popped into the shop last night to have some jewellery changed - I was trying to change up the hoops and studs in my left nostril (I have three nostril piercings, two are on the left). I could not for the life of my get the hoop in so I went to Dragon Ink because they were still open. By the time I'd gotten there my nose was a swollen and painful mess (I'd put in a valjant effort) and I didn't have a lot of hope. Jake brought me into the room and he had a hard time but he perservered and he was incredibly patient! He got the darn thing in AND reinforced it for me with a ball (I'd didn't have one previously). Then he got my stud in the front hole no problem. Jake even figured out what the issue was in the first place (extra path potentially from an old hole). I was ridiculously impressed with his patience and his service and just the shop in general (I love their aesthetic and I have plenty of ink and piercings myself so I am no stranger to tattoo parlours). He only charged me the minimum for a jewellery change (I was quite surprised and delighted by this). Jake is now my man for jewellery troubles and I'm thinking of getting my next piece done at Dragon. In addition to my own experience I've heard nothing but positive things about these guys. Jake is a piercer and tattoo artist! Go see this man! C

They were super fast with email correspondence and I was able to come in same day for some ear piercing. I appreciate that they offered alternative to stainless steel to accommodate my contact allergy. The bioflex jewelry is not causing me discomfort and the small extra cost is worth it. The staff know what they are doing and the environment is very clean. I'd recommend it even if you are just doing lower earlobe piercings. They show they care about their customers and seem very easy to contact with questions or concerns.

Great experience. Jake did a sibling tattoo for myself and my sister today. We were so happy with the outcome. The staff are caring and accommodating to their clients. My sister was feeling super queasy half way through her tat. One of the staff members ran down to the store to grab her a sugary drink and snacks, and Jake waited until she was ready to start again with no pressure on time. Last year I had my belly pierced by a former employee at Dragon Ink Tattoos. The piercing wasn’t done right& I came back in numerous times due to complications, and eventually had to take out the piercing. Every time I came in, Alex was more than accommodating, answering every question or concern I had. Yesterday I came back in to have my belly repierced and Alex did an AMAZING job, making sure to avoid the scar tissue from the previous piercing. Never have I experienced such amazing customer service. Had an appointment with Sam to get 3 lobe piercings in each ear. She was incredibly professional and caring and made it a breeze! The level of cleanliness is amazing - she showed me each sterilized packet of needles/earrings, their exp date and made sure I could visibly see when they were opened! I've been wanting to get my nose pierced for ages and I finally mustered up the courage to do it this past weekend. Jake was super friendly and accommodating. I had asked that he lower himself to my eye level and maintain strong eye contact with me while preforming the piercing and he did not hesitate to do so. I had also asked him to make sure his lips were incredibly moist so the light in the room would reflect off of them, giving me something to glance at when I needed a break from maintaining very deep and strong eye contact with him. Super accommodating! Will be a repeat customer for sure!

Had a great experience here getting my tragus pierced. The place was very clean and the piercer made sure that everything was carefully sanitized. A brand new clamp and needle were used and opened in front of me. Will definitely be returning for any future piercings. I got a cartilage piercing a few months ago in Barrie. I bought a smaller stud and went to Dragon Ink to have it changed. I dealt with Alex and even though I didn't get pierced there he treated me like a true customer . I got the best information about my piercing and left there very pleased with his service. Alex didn't charge me to change my earing and wouldn't accept my tip. Dragon Ink is a place I will definitely be going back to for all my future piercings.

Took my girlfriend here to get a helix piercing because she's always wanted one. Jake was the one who did the piercing and he was fantastic. I had booked an appointment about 6 weeks ago to get a tattoo, hoping to catch a promotion by getting tattooed by their apprentice Jake. Unfortunately, due to injury, I missed my appointment. However, when I checked availabilities this weekend (via Dragon Ink's live chat feature on their website which is an awesome way to boost user experience on their website as well) and owner Sandi welcomed me back excitedly. I was told I wouldn't be able to get the promotion purely based on availability which was fine by me but when I got there, they worked it out for me anyway! I already had the best customer service I've had at any parlour and I haven't even been tattooed yet. Once in the chair, Jake the apprentice was warm and talkative, explaining everything he was doing as he was doing it and very obviously putting in great effort and care in my tattoo. It's a small piece and is basically all line work so any mistakes would be very obvious. He did an amazing job, and I'm so so so impressed with his skill and his demeanour. I highly recommend requesting to work with Jake. He's a great artist and person, and giving him as much experience as possible would be a gift to all in the tattooed community. As it happens, I have never been to the same tattoo parlour twice, simply because I like to compare and contrast service and experience and this is the first time I have definitely seriously going back to somewhere I've already been for both new tattoos in the future and fixing other tattoos I've gotten in the past. The place is clean, the staff are very kind and helpful, and the overall experience was one I would recommend to anyone looking to get tattooed. I cannot say enough great things about Dragon Ink. Can't wait to return!

I got my lobe piercings done by Jake, he did a fantastic job and charged a fair price. I came back a few months later to get a triple forward helix and tragus piercings on both ears and they were all done incorrectly, by someone else. At first they looked alright, within a month 4 had migrated out. The other piercings all came out soon after. I was charged an insane amount for piercings that were done incorrectly. I recently went to a proper piercing studio in Toronto, and they were baffled by the scarring in my ears. The piercer at Dragon Ink completely missed the cartilage and had only pierced through skin. In addition had placed the cheapest jewelry possible in my ears which were too big, causing infection even through proper aftercare. I had a good experience with a simple lobe piercing but if you want anything more complicated do not go here. It has left me with permanent scarring and cost me upwards of $800.

Have the worlds worst Anxiety and Panic Disorder possible... finally had the courage to go and get my Navel pierced and I could not in any way have had better service. THIS PLACE IS 5 STARS !!!!!!!!! The staff is beyond, beyond kind, beyond understanding, super chill and funny! The atmosphere and environment they provide is beyond calming, safe, CLEAN, and friendly. The staff go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure their clients are comfortable, offering to hold my hand, distract me, totally understanding to my anxiety disorder and run me through the entire process. Within the minutes I was there, I received the best possible service someone could ask for. I would 10000% recommend this shop to ANYONE I know, or asking! Side note: Cleanest place I have ever been in. Everything was sterile, brand new, cleaned. Including the chair I sat in. Very impressed with the stores upkeep and professionalism.

I got a tattoo done here a bit more than a year ago. I hate writing bad reviews because I don’t want to be that person. But I am constantly asked by people what my tattoo is supposed to be. I booked an appointment a few weeks ahead and once I arrived I was told I would have to wait because an artist called in sick. So, I waited for 2 hours! But I still did not complain because I understand that things happen. When it was finally my turn…I showed a picture to Jake (pretty sure that was his name) of 3 little birds that I wanted inked on my inner wrist. He did a horrible job. They don’t look like birds…they look like 3 dots. I am constantly asked what’s on my wrist and am constantly reminded of how poorly this tattoo was done. I’m at a point where I must remove them or do a cover up. Disappointing.

A friend and I got our piercings done there today and Jake was such a nice guy! He was really chill and made sure that we were okay with everything + let us pick what kind of earring we want in it, which I wasn’t able to do with a previous piercing. He showed us that everything was sterile and even put a paper towel around my friend’s collar of his jean jacket to prevent a possible mess. I did not think that the customer service could get any better than when I previously went because they were amazing already, but Jake was great and I would definitely suggest getting your piercing done by him.
