I wanted to get a specific tattoo done. Custom means made or done to order for a particular customer. This is supposed to be a custom tattoo place and the work looked amazing. I was told that they can't do my design as 2 of the artist ONLY do black and grey realism. The other artist ONLY does neo-traditonal colour. This is not a custom shop as they are unable to draw up my tattoo to order.

Very clean shop, very talented artists that are priced fairly. I've had work done by both James and Travis. Everyone is friendly and joke around with you while you're there. I wont go anywhere else to get tattooed

The shop is super clean and the staff are all really nice and pleasant to talk to. Very welcoming place and good atmosphere, I got tattooed by James and was blown away by the work he did. Honestly I don't usually bother leaving a review but these guys deserve the 5 stars, very happy with my experience there and if I ever get the chance to come back to the area I'll definitely try to stop by again. I did my research and found the very best tattoo artist to deliver on the concept that I had. Travis doesn’t have a short queue but he is well worth the wait. He’s an amazing artist and a down to earth guy. My tattoo is beyond what I expected and I had high expectations from seeing his Instagram. Closed Casket is full of great people. Matt at the desk is one of the nicest people you’ll ever deal with and the experience was top notch from beginning to end. I will never go anywhere else.

I was hoping to book an appointment for a small tattoo to get a feel for the studio before committing to an artist for a large piece I've been planning for years. I was asked to send information about the tattoo I was looking for via email, and then was told I'd hear from the artist soon. A few days later, I received another email explaining the studio only does large pieces, and I needed to find somewhere else. This is extremely frustrating as I'd felt confident in choosing Closed Casket after a great deal of research, and felt my chosen artist would be able to create both the small and eventually large tattoos I was looking for. I never even spoke to the artist, as my request was shut down. I don't like this arrogant trend in the tattoo industry of studios only investing in large pieces, and Closed Casket has certainly lost a great deal of future business from me. On their own recommendation, I will be finding another artist elsewhere and will hopefully be able to continue working with that person for my future projects.

Awesome Tattoo Artists but terrible customer service. They never replied back via phone messages or Facebook and once confronted in person the shop manager just lied about it. My husband has gotten two tattoos from the same artist with the intentions of touch ups/additional work and has been left waiting over 4 years+ and still counting with no intention to let him rebook it. Good luck getting touch ups done by them.

Absolutely love getting inked here. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and incredibly fun to be around. Their open concept and bright room make for a very nice tattooing experience. You feel like you are around friends the entire time you are in the chair. This friendly environment with the appropriate amount of chatter makes the time fly by when getting inked. Very professional with just the right amount of social interaction! Finally let’s not forget about the amazing artists that call this place home. No matter who you decide to go with they are all amazing and unique tattoo artists with original designs and concepts and are more than willing to work with your ideas to create the perfect tattoo.
