Absolutely love this tattoo shop! Such down to earth artists every single one of them! Have had the honor of having Collin tattoo my hand and booking another tattoo right away! They take the time to get the artwork to your perfection, put the stencil in the perfect spot and even draw in some (depending on the location of the tattoo) to have it work with the flow of your body!! Definitely one of my #1 shops that I will be having ink me up!!

I recently got a very difficult and very detailed Maori armband from Collin. The level of details in my tattoo were so extreme that I was very skeptical of how it'll turn out, which showed up in our stencil itself which took almost an hour. The amount of effort Collin puts into his work and the efficiency of it is just commendable. I love how it looks after healing and I am amazed he could finish this in just one seating. Definitely getting the next from Artistic roots.

Saw Collin and let me say this guy is amazing! Their shop is very clean and modern looking. Very comfortable atmosphere. He will work with you to pretty much get anything done you can think of! I have him doing my whole neck sleeve and this will be the tsttoo artist I believe I'll keep going too! Must go to! Best shop in durham and proces hands down!

I had such an amazing experience at Artistic Roots. Collin was extremely professional and his passion for his work was very evident. He took his time, checked in, allowed for breaks when needed and made sure that the sketches and placement were exactly how I wanted them. The shop itself was bright, clean and the atmosphere was very comforting. All of the artists were so friendly and made a point to welcome everyone that entered. Overall, this was the best experience I've had getting tattooed. I would highly recommend!

Words truly cannot express the care and passion Collin puts in to every tattoo. Today Collin spent almost 5 hours working on my arm. In my opinion this is a very difficult and detailed piece. Collin made me 100% confident that he could take on the tattoo with confidence so I got him to do it. Collin worked with me and re-worked his sketch several times to ensure my satisfaction at no extra cost. While tattooing Collin ensured I was comfortable the whole time and continuously offered me bottles of water and snacks to keep me going. We went out for a couple of smoke breaks during the tattoo whenever I wished. He is in no way cocky or ignorant which makes it very easy and comfortable to ask any questions or voice any concerns I might have. Needless to say I was very happy with his tattoo experience, shop cleanliness, and bed side manor. This is not my first tattoo so it is easy to see when a tattoo artist truly stands out. If you have any ideas about getting a tattoo done, do yourself a favour! Go to Artistic Roots is Oshawa so that you can truly have an experience worth mentioning and remembering.

Gotten a few flowers done on my arm by Collin, I recently just went in for shading on these pieces as it's been about 6 months since we started. I am in love. I can't stop looking at my arm it's so great! The new shop is awesome, the staff is friendly and it's a clean environment. They really do care about the quality of your tattoo and you being comfortable during your session.
