My experience with Wildwood thus far has been extraordinary. I had waited 13 years to get my second tattoo because I had such a horrible experience my first time. From the moment i reached out for my consultation of my sleeve, I've been treated with nothing but kindness and professionalism. Not only is Rachelle an amazing artist who pumps out high quality work, the rest of her staff are extremely friendly, the atmosphere is incredibly comfortable and I'm always greeted with smiles across the board. There is no intimidation which is great being the anxious introvert I am. I've read the very few negative reviews and those people seem to have unrealistic expectations if they don't get their way. I'm halfway though a sleeve and so I've been in the shop several times. Not once have I been, or seen any other client be treated poorly or sensed a lack of professionalism by any artist or staff member. They are always upfront, pleasant and honest. If they think a design or style would be best done by another shop, they would rather you have a great tattoo then to take your money. I would highly recommend Rachelle and her crew to anyone looking for great service, wonderful art and a comfortable non-judgement shop. (Will update later with pics of sleeve when finished)

I was very unhappy with my experience and WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND despite the artist's talent. First I met with her and the other two employees happened to be in the shop (I think one was supposed to be an apprentice but was very unprofessional) and I showed her my design. She said she'd create something original and she would send me the design with plenty of time to review before my appointment in case changes were needed. I had to contact her the evening before my appointment and she didn't respond until around 9 pm with the design! I said I'd like some changes and she cancelled the appointment entirely - saying she needed more time. I had to completely change my schedule around and re-schedule the appointment (after having this appointment for weeks) because she was unprofessional and couldn't time manage. When she was doing my tattoo the apprentice was very unprofessional and the owner and her were chatting about the apprentice's friendship drama - nothing related to tattooing came up. When she started adding colour I was very unhappy she made my sunset look like wildfire! I would never return due to the unprofessionalism and lack of customer service.

Me and my daughter booked in matching tattoos for her 18th birthday . Very easy process and super friendly staff. We ended going with Jessica as our artist. She sketched out some drawings and worked with us to get exactly what we were looking for. We booked in for the whole day getting our new ink and was overly impressed with the whole experience. Jessica is super rad and her contagious laugh kept smiles on us the whole day. The whole crew are genuine and fun and awesome to talk too. Wont think twice about where im getting my next tattoo and am already brewing up ideas for Jessica to draw up for my next one!

First personal experience with Tattoo: I had no idea what to expect when one gets a tattoo. But our friends referred us to Wildwood, we (me and my S.O.) did our best to research into which tattoo place would suit our style and ideas and thought "Wildwood looks great!" Sent in our ideas over email, I got the privilege to work with Kris, and he came up with a design so well done, that my template/idea look like a kindergarten drawing. I instantly became excited and wanted it on my calf that moment. Photo included is the final and finish, second session, of my tattoo. Very tender and sore skin near the end of each session, that's just me. Highly recommend, very informative and helped me along the way with my first ever tattoo, any information or questions were answered when asked, even after hours via email if needed. Even if it's your first time or 45th tattoo, the staff at Wildwood Tattoo will take care of you in a respectful, clean and professional manner. Thank you Wildwood!

They have a beautiful snake! When I asked to see it (I just wanted to step behind the counter to see the lil thing) and the guy let me handle the pretty lil rope! Amazing. Real talk, I got a tattoo of a Schomimus that turned out awesome. I had Jill as an artist, spent nearly 0 time communicating with her, was a totally average or below patron, and she rocked it. True testament to the skill she has. Looks super cool.

Just started working on a sleeve with Kris. The atmosphere of the shop is so comfortable and I immediately felt at home. Kris went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and was so easy to talk to during the tattoo. It was amazing to have whats been a dream for years start to become a reality, the tattoos are even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Kris walked me through every step prior to the tattoo and was able to keep the pain to a minimum. Everyone there is fun and really loves what they do. If you're excited about getting a tattoo, come to Wildwood because they are just as stoked about it!

Have been following one of the owners since she left Vancouver and was very happy to make the trip to Kamloops to have work done by her. Got brushed off in a very rude, and unpleasant manor. Really a shame considering the artists talent. I can appreciate an artist being busy, but having your receptionist brush off a potential client instead of taking the time to explain why you aren’t interested in the type of art they want is a little lame. I explained I’d be happy to wait a year or two, and got told to find someone else ????

I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first tattoo! Rachelle and her coworkers are the perfect mix of professional while still maintaining a casual atmosphere. She managed to give me exactly what I wanted, and was very patient and helpful when I needed breaks or the pain was getting too much. Definitely going back for more.

She was so professional with booking, getting a good understanding of what I was looking for and making the changes that I wanted to make my tattoo absolutely perfect.
