Johnny saw my daughter this afternoon, who was having a reaction from a piercing at a different salon. Even though he didnt have any obligation to, he stepped up and checked out the ear and educated us both in the after care and healing of piercings. He also provided us with the same after care soap and instructions as if we had been pierced by him originally. We were blown away by his professionalism and dedication to his craft. Thank you again, you were incredibly helpful and kind.

Dont reccomend going to them for tattoo removal I went on there special on a Wednesday and did everything I was suppose to on the healing process and nothing changed my tattoos still look the same from when I actually got it done I call and emailed them and they dont pick up or reply back there scammers

Had an amazing experience here with Antony! Recently had a vinyl record tattoo put on my forearm and it is very sharp and clean and just walked right in and had no appointment whatsoever and very very reasonably priced! Very clean, sterile, and amazing results + aftercare tips and care package! Much recommended! (Tattoo is still healing in the picture, only received it 2 days ago)

I contacted the owner on short notice last night (night before thanksgiving monday) and he was able to accommodate me today for a helix piercing. He was very professional and made sure to go through the process of how my piercing would take place as well as the after care. The place was sanitary and well organized. I will definitely be coming back for my next piercing. :)

This will be my second time going into Sonic Tattoo to have work done **I want in on June 29th** & then I will be going in today **July 6th** for my second tattoo!!! It was a pleasure to work with Sam, she's very trustworthy and a sweet young woman. I was maed comfortable the second I walked in & untill I left the shop. The shop it's self was very clean and welcoming, the staff working are very polite and very trustworthy! Sam did an amazing job on my first tattoo, very clean lines and took her time on it. Mr. Weston is a very talented artist, and I am planning more work with him. Shop itself is uncluttered, very clean and very professional.

Got my helix pierced here and I had a great experience. Johnny was extremely professional, he thoroughly explained everything he was doing and told me everything I needed to take care of the piercing. Overall, the shop is really clean and organized and you just know you're in the hands of professionals.

One is a Wu-Tang W lol that originally was gonna be plain black, but I went with his idea to make the edges axe blades, and it’s way better than what I had in mind. Can’t go wrong with his taste and talent. I’ll be back soon!

I have had the pleasure of having Anisa do some tattoos for me, and she is absolutely wonderful!!! She is so great to talk to, her work is lovely and she is very accommodating. You can ask her to come up with anything with just a simple few thoughts of your own and she creates beautiful designs. Yes she may be very busy, but she's that good so no wonder she is. Sonic Tattoo is very clean, takes COVID precautions very seriously and I have never felt uncomfortable going in for my appointments. Would highly recommend Sonic AND Anisa of course!!!! Can't wait for my next appointment.

Amazing shop from the second you walk in to the moment you walk out. Very clean and organized. Staff is always super nice and informative with any questions you may have. I love Sonic, and their new location is even better. I can call and get detailed information from people who know what they are talking about. 95 percent of my 14 tattoos were done at sonic and all 6 piercings....this business is clean and sanitary and not scared to show it right infront of you. The owner is picky on who he hires. His tattoo artists are top of the line in my opinion. Their advice and knowledge is much appreciated. They give the best tattoos i have ever had and im proud to say i got them from Sonic. Some may say their prices are higher but for what you get it is well worth it. The staff is well versed on aftercare and want you to know about what you are getting done before you do it. They are friendly and keep things real. You wont get any false information... all of the employees know what they are doing and talking about. They do amazing work! Im proud to be a Sonic customer! They are the only tattoo place i would recommend to my friends. If you are ever considering a piercing or tattoo check them out you will not be disappointed. After calling around to multiple places who said they take walk-in tattoos but wouldn't fit us in, friends and I stopped into Sonic Tattoo this morning where we were easily slotted in. They had a booking first thing so they took our number and called us back when they were ready. Antony was amazing, he quickly sketched up the design we wanted and was great through out the whole process! Would definitely go back. The shop is very clean, with private rooms.

It so refreshing to have a tattoo artist who engages with you during your service. It has been a pleasure to watch her grow as an artist and I’m so excited to have more pieces done. I love that they offer tattoo removal and the Hydro Care that Jonny makes is my favourite. I buy it for my tattoos and piercings but also use it as a cleanser because it’s natural and does not irritate my skin. I have been getting pierced by Jonny since I was 17 and he’s super informative. Horrible customer service by Anthony today while trying to put down a deposit for an appointment. Or lack of "customer service" (seeing as I got no service, even as a previous customer), as the style I asked was refused. Based on the previous artwork shown by Anthony, my style not being his makes it OK to mock me, embarrass me, and insult me. I can only assume he has no partnership in this business as he "can't tell (me) how many times he's refused to tattoo someone based on their style requests". This is why customers sign a waiver. Because I want a small line-work, all black style, doesnt mean I'm "coming in off Pintrest". With the amount of tattoo studios in St. Catharines, I'd suggest literally any other one.

Antony was nothing but helpful, professional and meticulous as I had a tattoo done yesterday. He took the time to redraw out what I gave him and expressed some great ideas for dressing up the design. He was very thorough and careful and has great humor and bedside manor throughout the entire process. After his gentle touch, I even forgot that I had such a large piece done on my leg only hours after it was finished! I will definitely be coming back to Antony for more work in the future! I went in to get my smiley pierced and it was going to be my first "real" piercing. I was extremely nervous going in as i pre-warned him that i do normally pass out. He (Johnny) told me how im in good hands and hes been doing this for 25+ years. It made me feel a lot more comfortable knowing this. That being said, I didn't pass out (i was pretty close) however he made it not as painful as i thought it was going to be. Johnny was very patient and understanding! He answered all my questions and told me important info. I will definitely return in the future and i highly recommend (:

Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience with this business. It was supposed to be a simple ear piercing, in reality it was a botched ear piercing and a disturbingly poor customer service experience afterwards. I can forgive the botched piercing, it happens, but the way the owner handled it was childish and mind-boggling. I eventually got a refund, I had to fight for it after I was blocked by the owner on social media. Would strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

The facility is good, they have a whole set up for the body there.. Not just a tattoo shop, they have massages, hair cuts and beard trim with hot towel shave, and laser treatment as well.

Visited in 2018 for tattoo removal. Very professional, up to date and clean. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Can't say the procedure was any fun, but knowing I was in good hands made a huge difference. I would certainly recommend Sonic Tattoo for this service. The price is good, too, and I think they have specials on Wednesdays.
