The name says it all! I am a new patient here and I am here to stay! I have been to a few dermatologists and I am so happy I found Skin Pros. I visit the Providence office with Stephen Cullen and he is so knowledgeable , compassionate and personable that I brought my Husband here too. We both have skin cancer issues and not only is thorough, he is so caring and understanding and has greatest mannerism ever. The staff is always friendly,, courteous and respectful of your wait time.

PA refused to address more than one issue at the appointment. Even though I had two very important issues to address. She said she would only address one and that I would have to reschedule an appointment to address the other. I said okay. They barely addressed one issue. And for the second issue they made an appointment three months from now, in December of 2020. From start to finish, they spent less than 15 minutes with me. 4-5 minutes waiting in the waiting room. 4-5 minutes waiting for the physicians assistant. And 4-5 minutes with the PA talking to me about only one of my health issues, The second issue they refused to address at this time. They insisted that I make another appointment, possibly in order to increase their revenue. I feel cheated. And I still have my major issue that has not been addressed.

I love this clinic. It is very efficient, and joy of all joys, Stephanie Dadario is PA there. I had interacted with Stephanie at another practice and couldnt believe my good fortune that she came to Skinpros, which is a about 8 blocks from my apartment. She is always very personable, treats patients like people/friends, and is one of the most responsive and enjoyable medical professionals i have interacted with. .

It was my first time visiting Skin Pros for a skin cancer screening and everything was wonderful from the moment I walked in. The woman who checked me in was very welcoming and kind. I’ve seen a lot of dermatologist,( my face looked like a nutty butty) was put on doxycycline a bunch of times with topical gels.. finally took my time to read reviews for a few offices instead of just assuming they all know and found this place! I was put on Accutane for a good year and we didn’t think my face was gonna pull through.. but the very last month it did !!! And I was so relieved! Usually some patients go on a second round and I did not need to! They know what they’re talking about and trust the process! Tho it’s a good two years later I’m writing this review and wanted to say thank you so much for helping me ! Instead of treating me and testing me like the other “dr” people did ^__^

My husband was referred to this office. If I could I would give them a ZERO. This first visit- he was told they cannot help him and referred him to a specialist. The specialist said “yes the procedure can be done” and sent him back to this office. My husbands apt was scheduled for this morning. We live an hour away so my husband was 11 minutes exactly late. He called to let them know at 10:22 and 10:58 but no one would answer his calls. We have the call history to prove. He gets there and they said it was fine that he has a 15 minute window. They charge the $30 co pay, my husband sits down and immediately after the lady at the front desk comes out and says he needs to reschedule because he was late!!!!!!!! No only did he drive an hour and try to call to inform them of his tardiness, they charged him to then just reschedule. There ware two woman at the front desk and the one on the right was not only rude to me but to the other two people in front of me. At this point I became extremely frustrated. I DO not recommend this place due to the customer service my husband experienced and the lack of empathy of what it took for him to get to this apt. He tried doing the right thing by calling ahead and they did not care the inconvenience they have caused. They do not look happy to help the people that come through their door. ***EDIT- the owner contacted my husband and was absolutely empathetic to the service he was given and came up with a solution. I have increased my 1 star to a 3 for the owner himself reaching out. I will adjust my rating accordingly once my husband visits for surgery.

I had a small mole on my finger tip, given the location it had to be removed. The entire process was quick, easy, and professional. Dr. Cruz spent the time to explain why it had to be removed, how it would be removed, how it would be sampled, and then answered my numerous questions patiently. There was no pain and they tested all around the sample as well to be thorough. I highly recommend Dr. Cruz and frequently follow up with him despite me living in the Boston area.

UNPROFESSIONAL. Probably because I'm a person of color. I went in complaining about several hair and skin issues that were likely side effects of their "treatments," and the lady at the front desk saw that I appeared ethnic. She then saw that I was suffering from something on the report then proceeds to compliment one of the other coworkers on that exact thing I was self conscious of. The coworker just awkwardly stood there, knowing it was forced and spiteful for absolutely no reason. Well, there was a reason, because I was't fully white.

I am editing my review because this office believes my statements to be libel. However, I still intend to state the facts so others may read an honest "review" of this office's performance. Fact 1. My husband went to SkinPros on a referral from is primary care doctor with the understanding that he needed a biopsy on his face. Fact 2. The Dr. at SkinPros spent a very short time with him. Fact 3. The Dr. at SkinPros diagnosed my husband with hyper-pigmentation. Fact 4. A few days later my husband called SkinPros and asked if they could biopsy regardless of the diagnosis. *Both my husband and I had the strong opinion that the diagnosis was incorrect. Fact 5. My husband was informed by phone that SkinPros would not do a biopsy. Fact 6. My husband went back to his primary doctor and asked for another referral for a different dermatologist. Herein termed "Medical Professional 2" Fact 7. My husband went to Medical Professional 2 and was informed that the spots on his face were, indeed, suspicious. Fact 8. Medical Professional 2 biopsied two suspicious areas on my husband's face. Fact 9. Both biopsy samples came back from the lab with Actinic Keratosis.as the result. Fact 10. My husband will be receiving treatment for his Actinic Keratosis from Medical Professional 2.

Don't bother calling. They don't answer the phones or even call you back when you leave a message. They told me I could not book an appointment without a referral from my pcp. I had the referral faxed to them on a Wednesday afternoon. I tried calling for the rest of that day and all of the next day to book an appointment, with no answer. I left a message and never received a call back. I also tried calling all 3 locations and nothing. RESPONSE TO OWNER: I had no issue with having to get the referral, which I did on the same day. My PCP confirmed they sent it to you. My issue is that no one answers the phone or even called me to schedule the appointment. As far as the phone numbers, yes, it is the same number for all 3 locations but it asks to press #1 for a location, then #2 for a different location, etc. I tried all 3 and still no answer for several days.

I have been very happy with my results. He is always able to answer all my skin concerns and design the best course of action to get the results I am looking for. In addition, I recently sent my mother to Skin Pro due to a discolored growth on her back. A thorough examination was done and biopsy taken. I was so pleased with the outcome. If you want glowing , youthful skin , then Skinpros is the place to go . I have been coming here for the past 4 years and I can not say enough great things about it . Dr Cruz is amazing and truly is a master when it comes to beautiful skin . I have had Dysport , IPL , Resurfx and fillers with Dr Cruz at the helm . Every time I leave , I feel and look 10 years younger ! My family and friends always compliment my skin and I owe it all to Dr Cruz and the team at Skinpros . Another great point to add is how hard the Team at the front desk work to accommodate patients with getting appointments booked . I wanted to book an appointment for Resurfx and the next available date was in January . They did however say that they would put me on a waitlist if someone cancelled . Well , 3 days later I got a call and I was in Skinpros the following day . Now that is putting your patients first ! Thank you Dr Cruz and the team at Skinpros for all you do ... not only do I appreciate it , so does my skin !
