I adore Ram. The fact that he is an artist and a tattoo artist had lead to the most gorgeous tattoos that my husband and I have. His line work is wonderful and his shading is impeccable. This was my second tattoo from Flex, and my first at Rampage. Very impressed with the quality of this tattoo parlor. My tattoo took several hours, so I got to see a lot of other people getting inked. All three artists there that evening were doing solid work. Very clean, customer focused and a great atmosphere.

Talented artist. Little pricey though. It cost $80 for me to have five little birds in flight tattooed across my shoulder. No details or color on the birds. It took a total of 15 minutes. I don't think I'll go back.

The place is clean, professional and the work of course is great. I would type more but look at the other reviews they are legit! Thanks guys. Never expected to get a sleeve but I’m impressed and speechless at how good it turned out.

An amazing experience! Ram is incredibly honest and easy to talk to. He will hear you out and work with you to get you the right tattoo without any intimidation. Perfect choice for a first time high-quality tattoo. He radiates experience. Went in for one tattoo and ended up going back for a half sleeve. Couldn't be happier. First things I must mention are things in the shop are well maintained, clean, and safe. The staff and artists are friendly and have a good attitude. No one there had the "too cool for school" attitude you will find from some artists. I feel welcome there, the atmosphere is relaxed, and questions are welcome and encouraged at any time. This included texting if I had questions after I got home from a session. Good music and a variety of genres doesn't hurt either! My artist was Ram, who came up with a gorgeous design for the tattoo I wanted. Pricing, estimated number of hours, and the minimum number of sessions the piece would take were clearly explained prior to beginning the tattoo. He worked quietly and had a very chill vibe. The tattoo itself is beautiful, and I intend to later add the picture as it's just been finished and is still bandaged. It's well drawn out, saturated with both black/grey and color, and a mix of realistic and watercolor. Even after the first session (three total) people were complimenting it and were curious to see the progress. There was also never a hard sell, nor was anyone made to feel bad if they had a change of heart. I noticed another artist, Alan, was busy with a client, had drawn up what she wanted. Once she was a few moments in the chair, she was too nervous and changed her mind. She wasn't pressured to stay, rather she was given the respect that she didn't yet want to commit to having the work done. Considering the cleanliness of the shop, the good attitudes, and the fantastic art I now have on my arm, I highly recommend coming here.

If I could have given ZERO stars, I would have. Our experience with this place not a good one. Upon walking in and discussing a consultation with the artist, we emailed our plan of design for a sleeve on my husbands arm. The 1st inital plan to meet the artist stood us up and didn't even show. In disbelief, another artist there even attempted to contact her for us, but she never showed nor could anyone get a hold of her either. My husband took off work especially for the visit so it was time wasted for us both. We should have taken that as a red flag, but gave the benefit of the doubt and just figured things happen, so we continued trying to work with this female artist anyway. Well we soon learned that she would need rides up to the shop (wrk) and home afterwards. We paid $1,000 up front and only got a quarter, of the start of what we wanted done. Our money went to her babbling, stopping babbling some more, ordering food BS'n with other ppl there and well I guess picking her up and taking her home and wasting our time. Upon mentioning to the manager our disatisfaction and concern about things had transpired and how little of a section was accomplished for $1,000 we paid up front--he clearly was unable to be objective and in sidding with his employee instead choose to come up with every excuse in the book to justify all the wrong done from day one. I tell every person I know of this experience and this place and let them know to steer clear of this place and the ppl who work there. Although a tattoo parlor, there still shld always be some level of professionalism, afterall it still is a place ofbusiness. Horrible management, horrible "artist" and horrendous level of customer service. We have since had one of the best artists discovered complete the entire sleeve for $1,000, with wayyyyyyy better detail, worked wayyyyy faster, and wasn't asking for rides to and from work either. We had the work done and Rampages previous work corrected from a real business that we will always recommend to others.

Save your time and money. Go to another tattoo shop. I was tattooed by HellSea- Chelsea. She used a line tattoo gun to do my shading because she “left her shading tattoo gun at home”. Left a bunch of scaring, and a mess of a first session. Tattoo still not complete and I will never go back to this shop. She rescheduled my 2nd session then told me I have to pay another deposit because she was losing clients/ had a lot of cancellations and reschedules. Novice artist, horrible experience. Over $600 paid.

I contacted the shop after I found them on Houston press top 20 artist. They responded quickly and came in to speak with Alan. Showed him a concept I had drawn up and he loved it. He gave me some insight on my idea and we scheduled an appointment. It was my first tat and I must say Alan is ridiculous with that needle! Real friendly and professional. Nice atmosphere. I paid a pretty penny and it was well worth it! I'll be coming back! Thanks guys

Clean tattoo shop, precautions are taken to avoid contamination, and the staff is friendly. I got work done by Alan and I love his work and customer service. I can be very demanding sometimes and he is always patient. He has done a water color tattoo and a lace tattoo and I love them both. I highly recommend him at Rampage.

Before going to Rampage, I mistakenly went to Texas Emporium. I walked in and asked for a very simple black outline, only about one inch in length, of a Hamsa. Both the old woman at the desk and one of the tattoo artists denied me. Although Hamsas are generally very intricate, I wanted one that was very simple, consisting of a mere 20 lines and 9 dots. I showed them both pictures of exactly what I wanted it and where I wanted it. My chosen location was directly behind my ear. There were countless pictures on Google of Hamsa tattoos located behind the ear that were seemingly the same size and considerably more detailed. They both told me that they did not feel comfortable tattooing me because my request was apparently too complicated, I was far too young, and I was not tattooed heavily enough. I am 21 years old, soon to be 22, and I have 5 tattoos. Owing to the fact that I do not look like the typical "tattoo stereotype," I was denied a service that could have been provided with ease. I have never met judgemental tattoo artists, but I guess there is a first for everything. I took my business to Rampage Tattoos & Piercings. They were shocked by what had happened at Texas Tattoo Emporium and they were able to give me the tattoo that I wanted exactly where I wanted. The work done was great, very neat lines. They were beyond friendly and I would definitely return/recommend going here to anyone.

He will bring your imagination into reality and then some. Also, he's always got some tastey jams playing, for the optimal tattooing experience. My buddy Phil told me about the tattoo artist here named Vincent. He had signed up for a consultation and paid 100 dollars. When he showed up for the appointment Vincent wasn't there. He waited 30 minutes but Vincent never showed even though he called him twice. Vincent refused to refund the deposit. I will be sure to never come here and I recommend my friends not come here. Don't do business with people who don't show up to their appointments and then refuse to return the money, go elsewhere!

Cool & understanding guy, had my best interest in mind. However I am very upset about driving 50 minutes to find he is booked till next week. Whoever works phone needs to communicate properly. I asked literally 3 times if I could come in and have my tattoo done today after the consultation to which they gave me an ambiguous answer saying probably if the consultation goes well, to which the fourth time I asked in a yes or no to come in and find out the artist was booked until next week. Appreciate the artists demeanor but due to front desk customer service & communication I won’t be back
