Amaaaazing experience. First of all, totally wonderful people. Called in for 3 walk-ins & we were welcomed with open arms! Secondly, WOW he is an incredible artist. We each had very different ideas in mind & he took each and made it into a personal, wicked tattoo. I am so so so impressed. Best tattoo shop experience I have EVER had. Thankyou SO much guys!!!! Made our trip to Halifax that much more memorable. 11/10 recommendation.

Was not going to write a Review, however the owner posted the below bottom response to my One Star (TERRIBLE ) RATING so here is my opinion for all to consider. This above response by the owner is true I have never been tattooed at Eagles Nest however I did visit and considered his portfolio alarming. He claims to be a Specialist in all styles. Having examined his Portfolio tells me that he does not comprehend the difference or distinction between American Traditional Tattoo and Traditional Japanese because he renders them in the same style, generally adolescent 101 art class. His best portfolio examples are only of a average quality, which in Halifax means that clients must wish to appear as Gangsters who cannot afford fine quality Art. Never been Tattooed By Chris and my opinion is no one who cares about their good reputation can wear his Tattoos unless Gangster is your style. So very tired of this Low Brow mentality which persists in Halifax. My search for quality Artists in Halifax who comprehend medium of skin continues.

I love Chris's work. I went in with my little brother to get matching tattoos. We had decided on a black and white realist style of a mountain range. I got the bottom sleeve and little brother got his leg done - not small tattoos. Chris worked on my Brother and then a while later myself. Service - Super professional, great to talk with and an awesome guy The actual Tattoes - We both LOVE what Chris did. We came in with an idea and Chris made it ours. Can't wait to get more work done!

Im nearly 3/4 of the way through a full sleeve, done by Evan Grandy at Eagle’s Nest. The experience has been great from the start and his work speaks for itself. The entire crew at Eagle’s Nest is relaxed, professional and the environment is very clean and inviting. The artists have a great working relationship which made the experience that much better. Beyond being an absolute professional in every sense of the word he is also meticulous in his health standards, accommodating to the needs of his clients, and artistically brilliant on both providing something fresh and incorporating what people want. Next time I'm in town I'll be coming back for another 10 hours of work.
