Went for a piercing last week. Staff was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Anna, the piercer, had their certifications in both piercing training and control of spread of disease hung on the wall to show it was a safe environment.

Anna is an amazing piercer, who is very knowledgeable and professional. She has a great sense of humour and really put me at ease. I am looking forward to working with Anna again. Update: Anna is AWESOME! I was back to get the other nipple done, but as a larger guage (we went to a 10 ga Captive bead ring). Anna informed me that it was gonna hurt. The piercing was done as a 12 ga and then stretched to a 10 ga. When thst was done, she stretched the previous on to a 10 ga. We have already planned put the next two piercing. I have to say the Dopamine and the Adrenaline rush is addictive as hell. This visit should be rated 10/10.

I keep wanting to get work done here because there are definitely talented artists.. but every time I am in contact with someone about booking an appointment or pricing etc it has been a negative interaction. Whether in person or over the phone. I'm kind of giving up just based on a customer service perspective... when you can go elsewhere and are treated with more importance and professionalism... pricing seems high as well

Got my belly re pierced & nose pierced and Ana was absolutely amazing. She cares so much about what she does and it really shows in her work. I LOVE how much she cares about Sanitization and keeping everything safe for piercings as this is a huge problem with many places. She also was so informative about everything I needed to know about my piercings & care. I’ve had my belly done elsewhere in the past and no comparison. The environment there is great & cosy. Everyone there is friendly & welcoming. They are also very reasonably priced for the excellent service you get. Thank you Dead Tree!

Anna was simply amazing with my daughter. First of all, she reserved 1 hour for my girls ear piercings and let us know we could take all the time we needed. Everything was set at my daughter's pace. During our visit, Anna took time to explain every single step. She also was very clear about consent and ensuring my girl really wanted the piercings and knowing she could stop at any time. She answered any questions and was very patient. I am extremely grateful because my daughter had a very positive experience and will not remember this day negatively. If you want a professional, caring and knowledgeable person you could not ask for better ☺️

Personally I won’t be back. The tattoo matty Ford did for me was not jaw dropping quality and I gave up trying to get the free touch up I was entitled to after several attempts to get ahold of the shop and matty personally, I was not made to feel comfortable throughout the 3 hour experience and felt my very presence was annoying to him lol. I also received an industrial done by Anna but was I was immediately made uncomfortable and Inadequate when she condescendingly asked me if stylized my eyeliner ina similar fashion because of her??? keep in mind I met her for the first time during that experience lol. both experiences were not pleasant I won’t be back.

Went in with high expectations from all the great reviews and I can honestly say that they were exceeded... Matt's work is better in real life. He is very professional and efficient. His line work could rival anyones in the country! The studio is a hidden gem downtown, it is very clean and tastefully decorated, very evident that it is suitable that his staff takes pride in what they do, true professionals ... I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get tattooed by the best.

Anna showed me how to tell if things are properly sterile which was really cool. Anna also uses high quality internally threaded jewlery. I had decided on nipple piercings and she did an amazing job and explained every step of the way what was happening and why. What a superb experience!! Waited 7 months for a tattoo from Matty Ford, when I got there the oaf drew the base scene he had 7 months to work on on the spot, and it was atrocious. He's miserable and unpleasant to be tattooed by. The experience was meant to hold significant value and dude made it as awkward and uncomfortable as possible, he reeked of cigarettes and spoke a total of 3 words in the entire 4 hour process.the overall quality of the tattoo I left there with is quite upsetting and had to be covered up. I caution anyone who's thinking about him for their artist.

to be brutally honest, if I could I would rate my experience today at your shop 10 out of 5 ! Today, Anna pierced my nipples and I am beyond satisfied. Not only did she have a fantastic personality, but she made me feel 100% comfortable which made me completely trust her throughout the whole process. She went through all that she was going to do so I was well informed and knew what to expect, as well as taking her time to show me how sterile she was and her equipment! something that no other shop does. Even though I was late for my appointment she was still so kind, patient and understanding !! I will for sure be recommending her to anyone I know or even don't know for that matter! if you want an amazing piercing experience and an even more amazing piercing outcome, I 100% recommend her!
