Simply based on the first impression walking through the door, I would not venture into this establishment again. From the snotty receptionist who insisted that "everything is going digital" yet I'm going to sit for a possible 8 hours in this shop that no one even bother to ask any questions to when they were inside. To the lack of anything material to look at in the shop as far as work goes. It was disappointing to say the least. As someone with no social media, it is not possible to look at any portfolios. As someone with dozens of hours of work already done, I was excited to see a shop in town that being here my entire 39 years I hadn't noticed or heard about before ( I think speaks for itself). I understand the world and people liking things in thier palm to scroll trough. A few of us with Grey hair in our beards would love to sit down, flip through a portfolio and maybe figure out a piece to get done in a local shop in in place they've grown up. For now, it's off to Edmonton or Canmore.
Thank you for your response. As for cutting you off twice. After walking in, taking notice to nothing being spoken to on the phone. As well as the phone coming away from you multiple times I did not believe there was conversation happening. Regardless of thinking you were being cut off, a very normal question from a very nice person who As stated was excited to see a tattoo shop in town that they hadn't know was here. The interaction was less than welcoming. I actually had planned on and may still inquire as to a full leg sleeve based on some of the comic work I did see while there. My mind most certainly wasn't made up.
