I happened upon Tatarama by sheer luck. Never had tattoos. Always thought I would get one at least. I started my tattoo adventure at 60 and now at 62 have 3 beautiful tattoos done by the amazing Eugene, Sky and a former artist Ethan. I can't say enough good about this place. They are so artistic, helpful, knowledgeable and just great people. And clean. Really important. Needless to say, I am going back to get a little bit more done.... Am absolutely thrilled with this place and have recommended it to friends and even strangers who admire the work. Thanks. So I unfortunately got Evan and Ethan confused. And they say you never forget your first one! Evan did my first tattoo. I don't know where the heck I got Ethan from. Figment of an old brain ;}.

I have been visiting this shop for a while and have always been treated amazingly. Sky is an amazing artist as is Eugene and both are very knowledgeable. I have not been disappointed with any of the many tattoos i have received from Sky and will definitely continue going back. Highly recommend this shop.

I definitely think Evan is a decent guy, haven't seen much if his work but I find the owner a bit abrasive and a little odd. Had a really small tattoo with no colour come out to $180...

I had a full sleeve done by Eugene over a few months this year. He was great to work with, professional and incredibly creative. He listened to my ideas but ultimately I had full trust in him to create an amazing design. He knows what will look good and right and trusting him was the best decision I made - my sleeve is exactly what I wanted and more, I didn't expect it to turn out this perfect for me to be honest, but it is gorgeous and people are constantly commenting that it is one of the most beautiful they have seen (when I was in Vegas a guy writing a book on tattoos told me it was one of the most unique and beautifully done he had come across). I'm so happy I made the choice to work with such a talented artist, Eugene made a long and involved process truly enjoyable - my sleeve is a work of art! I also wanted to say that Sky is great as well, very encouraging and positive :) they are a great team!

Eugene did my first tattoo 13yrs ago and I came straight back to him for my new tattoo. Eugene worked with me diligently & efficiently for my vision with this tattoo. He was patient & understanding with all my concerns. It was a 3hr process and during it, Eugene would ask if I was okay or if I needed a break. Needless to say, the end result is a piece of art! Thank you so much Eugene for your hard work & dedication on my beautiful tattoo!

My boyfriend came in for his second tattoo on his birthday recently and whoever did his tattoo did very well! I'm going in to get my first tattoo! I'm only giving this place two stars because the owner and other lady were friendly and helpful when doing measurements and what not. Let's see when I actually go for my tattoo!

For a person getting a tattoo for the first time, this place provided the best service I could imagine. Skye was so endearing and helpful, not to mention a great tattoo artist. I don't have any other place to compare TatARama to, but I would definitely come again or recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo.

Love this place. I have gotten all 3 tattoos here, and am so happy with the service I got and the artists. They know their stuff when it comes to placing a tattoo (if you're unsure), and by executing it! For sure would recommend it, and the artists Evan and Dan!

Organised and very patient. I got my tattoo from a gentleman named Eugene. Genuinely so nice and definitely knows what he's doing. My tattoo was very simple but complex, and it turned out flawless. This was my second time coming to tatarama as a client and I would go back again and again!

If you would have asked me last week how I felt about this place, I would have said 5 star. However, after showing up for my appointment yesterday (Sunday, September 25th) at 12 o'clock noon, my feelings quickly changed to a 1 star...or even a "0" star. I was greeted at the door asking why I was there. When I said I had an appointment booked for 12 p.m., the girl just looked at me and said, "I don't think so". I gave her my name and showed her the many emails back and forth regarding booking my appointment and discussing the design and details. Did I mention that the emails where from the beginning of August??? So almost 2 months in advance I booked this appointment. Of course they remember the emails and did have me written down for an appointment, but proceeded to blame it on a new girl working the front (doing all the bookings) and said the artist that was suppose to do mine was on holidays and forgot to clear his schedule. How convienent - - - put the blame on 2 other people that weren't at the shop that day. So there I am, I drove a hour and forty five minutes to get to this shop, as a returning costumer, and all they say is come back at 4 and we can maybe for you in. Let's just say I didn't return at 4 and I WILL NOT be returning again. If you plan on getting a tattoo at this location, you might want to confirm your appointment the day of. Shity for me --- I didn't!!!

This is a great tattoo shop. I got my 3rd tattoo here in 2015. I got my first two at tattoo shops in Scarborough. Tat-A-Rama is clean, professional and welcoming. Great staff. Highly recommend.

My mom passed away in Feb got my first tattoo in July from Dan . Was very happy with my tattoo in honor of my mom. Dan took the time to go over some designs . I liked 2 different styles of a cross . Dan took elements of both tatoos and made one awesome tatoo ! I will definitely be going back . Thanks Dan ! I definitely recommend this place , the staff is very friendly and upbeat .

First of all, before any of you even try to refute me or even try to discredit my review because it is posted anonymously, please note I have several tattoos from this place that I regret abhorrently. This place is horrid. They are judgmental of other tattoo shops and talk smack to ensure their clients "feel" like they made the right decision by coming to him. Eugene basically will take you in as a client (whenever, by the way - no appointment necessary) but will rush you out ASAP. His goal is to get the customer in and out of the shop as quickly as possible and he cares NOTHING about the quality of the art. He does this because he wants to chill and be on his phone all day. If this is the owner who is responsible for teaching the studio's artists, then I can only imagine that the students of this shop have the same mentality. Go elsewhere and save yourself the trouble (and money) of laser tattoo removal in the future.

Went as a walk in for my first tattoo ever. Franklyn was the artist. He was absolutely awesome. I absolutely love the results and he was awesome to talk to during the whole thing. For my second, I'll definitely be going back to him.
