Just finished my last session with Tye today and I absolutely love my new tattoo! He’s an awesome guy and such a talented artist. Shop is super clean and tidy too. He actually listens you your ideas and comes up with such beautiful artwork. He went way above and beyond my expectations and like I said, he’s an awesome artist, guy and he’s very reasonable priced as well! Would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. So grateful I found him! Can’t wait to book my next tattoo! Well worth the wait to get into see him. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

Odalisque Studios is by far the best place for grey scale work. It's very rare to find people who are true artists when it comes to tattoos, but Tye fits that bill hands down! Not only are his ideas fantastic, he knows how to transform them into true works of art. I've had a couple of pieces done by Tye and I'm so happy with them (and constantly get complimented!!) His prices are extremely reasonable for the exceptional service. Absolutely worth the wait! I'll definitely be going back for more :)

I had put in a request for a tattoo in July to Rebekah for a design she had in her flash on instagram, unfortunately I do not have the exact date but it did take her a while to respond ( I understand she might be busy due to pre Covid appointments). On Sat July 31st I finally got a reply regarding my request and upon our discussion (July 31 - August 4th) I had booked an appointment for Sept 4 and had given her the requested deposit - to mention in my request I am only available on weekends so that day worked for me. I was beyond excited to receive the tattoo as I admired her work and even suggested her to a friend who had also emailed her during these time periods. On Sept 4th (the day of the tattoo) I was told at 3:24 pm that she had to cancel due to an issue with time management with a client she had been working on at the time. I was quite upset as I live far and was a minute away from ordering an Uber to go to my appointment. I emailed her within 12mins regarding my situation and repeated again for rebooking that I am only available on weekends and that I didn’t want to wait another month to get my tattoo, within this time frame my friend had also emailed Rebekah and wasn’t happy with her response time and emails so she decided to go else where. She emailed me on Sept 6 regarding her inconvenience and that she will try to get my an earlier appointment, I then waited till Sept 9 for her to email me dates during the week that she was available or the option to wait till October. Overall this situation has put a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be getting a tattoo here - I expected better customer service from a tattoo shop with 4.9 star review To add a side note I looked on both their social medias as well as the website for their phone number and could not find one - I had even sent a DM to the shops instagram regarding their phone number and still no response till this day.

Tye has been tattooing me for a few years now, full chest piece and shoulder piece dune by him. I will be going to see him again soon to start my sleeve. I highly recommend him for all your tattoo needs. The shop is great and very clean and the tatyot work is ifo the charts amazing! Go check him out, you won't be disappointed

Working with Tye was nothing short of an absolute pleasure. We went through multiple designs and a couple idea changes before we settled on one, but never did feel like I was an inconvenience. I felt accommodated and appreciated as a customer. His work itself is peerless and I couldn't be happier. He's a great artist and has a fantastic studio. Pricing for the day is very competitive and despite a 7 hour sitting, I can't wait to go back and get some more work done with him. I will highly recommend Odalisque Studios.

Writing a review for this place has created a challenge for me. There are almost no words that I can think of, that will do justice in this review but here we go (inset Mario voice). The space first of all is chill and has a relaxing vibe to it while being immaculately clean and professional. I had a great opportunity to work with Tye who is in essence one of the greatest individuals I've met while getting a tattoo, we worked on my piece for almost 8 hours and throughout that we spoke on numerous topics we had a lot of laughs and most importantly I felt more like a human being than a client. I also got to meet Erin who was equally cool in her own way (p.s tuna is the best name). The price was extremely fair, the care that was put into my piece while incorporating exactly how envisioned it was spot on, Im mad at myself for not booking in sooner, this place is a gem and I'm more than happy with my piece.

I'm still blown away by Tye's ability every time I get a new piece, despite coming to him for my tattoos for the last couple of years. I guess that's what you get when a graduate of fine arts becomes a tattoo artist! Beyond Tye's incredible ability, he's also an all-around good guy. He and his shop are welcoming, he's a smart cat who can carry a conversation while he works, and he's always got a funny story/anecdote to share. I highly recommend Tye and will continue to come to him for my work.

Exceptional from start to finish! I had been putting off getting my 5th tattoo for the last 10 yrs, for the simple reason that I didn't trust anyone to do it. If you want a world class ARTIST, Tye is the only one i can recommend. I have done a half sleeve so far and i still cant stop staring at it. Tye is not only extremely talented, he is a true professional. All of my appointments have been on time and he was prepared. He is EXTREMELY clean, respectful of your time and he will go out of his way to make you happy EVEN if it means spending an extra 2hrs working on your piece. His prices are honestly incredible for someone as talented as him. For someone as well known and talented as him with all the recognition in the industry, hes the most humble, simple and kind hearted individual. Aside from being such an amazing human, hes the most talented artist ive ever met. Just go follow him on social media and take a look at his work. Hes Simply a magician with a tattoo gun. Do yourself a favor and be patient if you’ve booked him, you will not regret it. Yes, he’s extremely busy but that just shows you how talented he is. I would NEVER let anyone else tattoo me. The best in the city for black and grey tattoos. Quality of tattoo is comparable to something easily twice what other shops will charge. The shop is beautiful and super clean. Time flies by because Tye is a awesome, easy to talk to and highly professional. Very accommodating and will go out of his way to produce quality work and make sure your comfortable throughout. I have done many sessions and all scheduling with each has been awesome and very much appreciate the communication and confirmations. The quality of work is worth the wait , pricing is extremely fair. Seriously one of the best Toronto has to offer.

Best tattoo artist in all of Toronto and a cool guy to spend the day with. I’ve gotten a couple tattoos by him such as a portrait of a cheetah to a coverup piece on my back and I am still in awe with the amazing work he did. Also, compared to other tattoo artist he has a light hand so he doesn’t damage the skin and the healing is much better compared to some of the tattoo that I’ve had by other artists. Top notch quality work and designs by a true professional.. Can’t recommend this place enough!!!!
