Archive Tattoo is the gold standard for beautiful artwork executed in an exceptionally hygienic and artfully styled shop. Responsible, kind and off the charts talent with an eye for just the right piece for the client... freaks me out, so much good! I have had extensive work done and after years all my colours (even red) are popping, sick shading and the lines are clean. Every piece I have has well exceeded my expectations and I get compliments all the time. I feel lucky to have Archive here in Toronto and if you do your homework you’ll find that of the top 50 shops to know, Archive is the sole Canadian listing (it was when I was researching). Deeply good people who care about what they do and the people they create body art for. Go!

I got tattooed by David in the summer while traveling, super accommodating with me only being in Toronto a few days and found a spot for me, did an amazing job at creating a unique beautiful design from some ideas I had and ultimately gave me a stellar tattoo that I couldn't be any happier with. The space is super comfortable and welcoming, I found everyone really friendly and easy to talk to about any nerves over getting my first tattoo there. Archive is my spirit animal. This shop is bright, clean, and friendly; all good qualities for a Tattoo shop to possess. Dave (owner) has been the artist I've gone to most recently and he is, hands down, amazing. He is open and honest during the consult phase and is always prepared with a comprehensive drawing (potentially more than one option) on tattoo day. I have had issues in the past with my tattoos healing perfectly and Dave always offers free touch ups even, in one circumstance, for some work that he didn't originally do but helped "fix" because it came out of his shop from an artist previously employed there. Can't say enough good things about this shop and the best part is there's an artist there for every style.

Love these artists and staff. Artist Caroline Tattersall has been working with me to complete my back piece and sleeve. She is amazing as i have sensitive skin and am a little older so more sunspots... she is gentle and has not caused bruising on me. Aftercare is clear and prices reasonable. Accept debit and you should make an appointment also do a consult so you both know what your looking for. Parking on the street and a coffee shop across the street. Easy public transit access to. They have an artist for all styles

I found Archive a few years ago when I saw their work on a coworker. I had been looking for someone to do a portrait of my cat for years but just couldn't find anyone I felt would do it justice. David Glantz ended up doing my cat portrait and it is more beautiful and creative than I ever could have imagined. I have since gotten two more pieces from him and every one is amazing. His attention to detail and the way his work flows is instantly recognizable. In addition to the amazing work they do, Archive is like one big family. Best Tattoo Shop in the City! David Glantz and his group of artists are some of the best in the business. Whatever tattoo you chose (and by whichever artist), you're in good hands. Always a pleasure to deal with! Really go above and beyond to make sure things are right from the outset. The office manager (Elyse Glantz) is always professional, courteous, and pleasant to deal with. Extremely clean environment. Have had many (15+) sessions at this studio with zero complications in healing the tattoo. Really a step above the rest in general hygiene. Would recommend this shop to anyone wanting a hassle-free, clean, and professional tattoo experience. Anything you get will be a world class tattoo!

My First meeting with kevin was a great experience he was very kind, welcoming and thoughtful. He was very fast at responding to any questions I had , he made me feel very comfortable and now has my full trust. The tattoo turned out amazing I couldn't be happier hes a true master at what he does !!!!
