Geri is phenomenal. I have never been one to feel comfortable letting any artist take liberties, but I found out after meeting Geri that I simply had never been comfortable enough with the person. Geri put me at ease immediately and I'm so glad she did. The work we came up with together was perfect and I received the most amazing piece. Another time, she did the most amazing cover-up for me. The original tattoo and the end result could not be more different but you would never know the first existed in the first place. I will forever sing Geri's praises. I'm so grateful to her for my upgrades. Absolutely adore her.

I can't praise the wonderful customer service enough! Discussing what I was looking for and booking an appointment was such a breeze and not stressful what so ever. Not to mention, Angie did an amazing job on the tattoo. So professional, and made me feel right at ease and comfortable with the process- even taking the time to readjust the sizing multiple times for me. In terms of Covid-19 protocols, all rules are followed and I felt 110% safe getting tattooed in what has been a very unsure time for everyone. I can't wait to make another appointment in the near future!!

Awesome experience. I needed a last minute, important tattoo done, and they were very accommodating. They managed to fit me in so quickly, and everyone was kind. For the actual tattoo, Gerry was very cool and chill, and just such a kind guy. My tattoo was on my wrist, a sensitive area, and he did it so quickly but perfectly, it was great. Everything is very clean, and the shop itself is organized and welcoming I highly recommend, go see these guys!

She is patient, attentive, and really cares that the tattoo you leave with is perfect to you. The tattoo I got here was actually a cover-up but it's ended up being my favourite piece. Based on the website and my short visit to the shop they seem to make an effort to be a safe and inclusive space. The website is informative and answered many of the questions I had beforehand. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! Gerry and the crew are amazing. Gerry's work and art is incredible, he has now done most of my sleeve with a Japanese themed Dragon and Tiger and it is by far my favorite tattoo and the best work I've seen! He has covered some hideous previous work that were both not only bad tattoos but also just very bad decisions on my part. I did not give Gerry a very easy task in this one and he has knocked it out of the park. All he had to work with was a vague idea of what I like and full creative freedom and he has far exceeded my expectations! Thanks again! Jason

These guys are phenomenal. I was only in town for about a week but knew I wanted to get my first tattoo in Victoria. I have a pretty bad needle phobia but Geri was incredibly reassuring on the phone and was super confident that I would be fine - and I was! Tami did my beautiful mermaid and she was lovely and very patient with me. She also tattooed me in short strokes, which I found helped to minimize the intensity of the pain. She's incredibly talented and I recommend her highly. The shop is clean and professional, and has a super laid back vibe that was really calming for a newbie like me. I will probably be back next time I'm in town!

I can’t recommend Tattoo Zoo enough! Nice clean, chill shop with great staff and good location. I had a session with Nicole last week for a custom floral piece and couldn’t be happier. The drawing she came up with after our consultation was bang-on what I’d envisioned - better, even. This was also by far my least painful tattoo experience, even though this was one of the bigger pieces I’ve ever had done. Nicole is very light-handed and her lines and shading (and everything overall) are so precise and perfect. I’ll definitely be back!

I have quite a few tattoos from this shop, one from Angie, Gerry, and a new one from Shelly that I got yesterday! I love all of them so much and have nothing but good things to say about all the interactions I've had with all their artists. A special thanks to Shelly who got me through a rough appointment yesterday as I wasn't feeling to well and I experienced ten times worse pain that with any of my other tattoos and was having a hard time getting through it. She was super understanding and sweet about it and made it as comfortable as an experience that it could be. I am beyond happy with the end result and even my mom who said she wasn't sure about this one when she saw the flash drawing said she loves how Shelly brought it to life and thinks it's a beautiful tattoo now. I've even gotten work by 2 of the guest artists they've brought in and those are beautiful pieces too. This shop will not let you down! Thanks for being my favourite tattoo shop <3

Got my first tattoo here and i’m glad i chose this place. My tattooist ANGIE has done exactly what i’ve asked for, even exceeded my expectations. She explained what she was doing at every step and made me feel very comfortable. The studio was spotlessly clean and everything was super professional. Aftercare was explained really thoroughly and I was encouraged to get in touch with the studio if I have any questions during the healing process. The tattoo artist was great and i love my tattoo! However, there is this huge no late policy "If you are 15 minutes late or miss or cancel your appointment, your deposit will not be refunded. Think of the shop like a hair salon. We’re working on a schedule and can’t keep our other clients waiting." I had an appointment at 11am and i guess there was a scheduling conflict and someone else had a consult at the same time with the same person. I had to wait 40 minutes before i even got to sit in the chair to get the tattoo. Considering your policy, that was very irritating.

I can’t explain how much I LOVE Tattoo Zoo. Firstly they are incredibly kind, and I mean everyone, its the most warm and welcoming environment. Secondly, incredibly clean, everyone who works there takes so much care to be clean as can be. And finally the quality is amazing, just wow. I am in love with Nicole and will keep coming back to her forever. Her florals are so detailed, and Nicole knows her flowers because she gardens like crazy. Very easy to talk to and work with. I wish the artist paid more attention to what I actually want and didn't want. I waited for over one hour for my consultation appointment past the actual set up time. I think that you all should have a little more consideration to the big art that's going to be put on my body FOREVER! I am trying to like my art but it is not what I actually wanted. I tried to be assertive, but you have to consider, that having your first tattoo, is a bit intimidating. I wish you would just take the : We are so awesome here attitude! Chill and tattoo people, instead of making them feel intimidated. Tattoos sometimes are a replacement for traumas. Like mine! I will probably remove mine. and replace with what i actually wanted.
