My first visit was exquisite. The place is beautifully decorated with eye catching art and collectibles .The staff are laid back and welcoming. Great location with plenty of parking. Artists are top notch ended up getting one and returning for another. Saw Dani and Ellery both incredible works. Really wished I found them sooner running out of space lols

I have known the owner jim since he opened Incendiary Tattoos in esquimalt and become close even like family to him and all his amazing artists in the shop. They have fixed may a failed past tats. plus I get all my amazing art there. The diversity between the amazing artists Danyelle, Jim, Collis and the amazing apprentice Ellery (definitely worth waiting for) is phenomenal. I literally am a walking billboard for Incendiary and will never go anywhere else. Top service amazing company and top was talent.

I recently had my first tattoo at Incendiary. It’s an experience I’ve wanted to have for a long time, and thanks to Jim, the experience was a great one. The shop has some of the best customer service you’ll ever find. Everyone that walks in is greeted immediately. The place looks great. I wish I had as much cool stuff on my walls. They’ve got very impressive fish tanks, and I found it relaxing to watch the fish before starting the tattoo. I pulled the Second Skin off after the full 6 days, and the tattoo looks and feels great. A week ago I didn’t think I’d want more, but now I’m thinking the one on my chest needs a friend

5 days after my tattoos were done & thanks to Ellery they look awesome and are healing spectacularly. She gave new life to some old tattoos I have and i’m So happy with how they look now. She was really knowledgeable and helpful with specific instructions on healing my tattoos, I have never had a tattoo heal this quickly before. Got my nose redone by JB here. He was GREAT!! Super friendly and helpful. Would recommend him to friends. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the pricing on the website is wrong. Cost $130 for the two piercings instead of $110 and that was after military discount.

Experience was mildly disappointing. Had very high reviews from about artist. Tattoo appointment was cancelled the day of and rescheduled 2 weeks later. My tattoo was being drawn up as I walked in. I waited 1.5 hour while artist was drawing up my tattoo . (Charged me for that hour and half) when the tattoo took 3 hours total and yet I was charged for 4. Needing to fill in areas that were not shaded properly but at another shop.

JP is such a delight to deal with and very professional. I feel safe and he is very clear in his procedures. He is not in it for the money and is very honest about if you should get the piercing or not because the healing process might give you grief (which in my case it would have). If you are looking for a great piercer I would highly recommend him! He did my medusa and it healed perfectly and I'll be back when restrictions lift and can get my nose done!

My friends tattoo looked incredible drawn out on paper but when I saw it on them, I had no idea she was going to make it look that good. She has an excellent eye for the balance needed with detailing and using negative space.

Okay at best tattoo, for a not okay price. Me and my cousin got a tattoo done here by Adam, and he messed up on both pieces. They were supposed to be matching, but did not turn out that way unfortunately. He started off by taking the drawing we had, tracing the drawing and then he gave it back, never again to look at it while doing both tattoos. On the first tattoo, he messed up the mouth completely, because he didn’t trace it right to begin with. He also forgot a few lines, one of which I had to ask him to add it to my friends tattoo while he was doing hers, and to add it to mine after he was done with her, because it tide the whole face together and made the face look less surprised. Again, I imagine this happened because he had nothing to refer back to, accept the trace he had done, which he did not do right in the first place. He ended up adding the line on the face backwards in the end anyways. Even with the mistakes (that were pointed out to him and all I got back was a, “Yeah... sorry.”) we were still charged just about 300 dollars each for an hour and a half tattoo each. During this time he took 2 smoke breaks also. We did have to go after hours, but that is his fault for booking us back to back, knowing how big the tattoo was for each of us (about 2.5” x 3.5-4”) and that we wanted it in colour, and that he was booking both of us towards the end of the day. There was no compensation for the mistakes that were made, and no “I’ll fix it for free.” or anything of that sort. His apprentice actually spoke up after I mentioned multiple times that the mouth on the second tattoo looked much better than mine (by this point we had pointed out that he had done the tattoo wrong and to do it right on the second one) and said that they would fix it for free if they ever travelled to my province, as I was from out of town and couldn’t just get it touched up a few days/weeks later. She was the most professional one during the whole experience and I know she will make a great artist in the future. We were not given a care sheet, told how to take care of it, my cousin didn’t even sign a waiver to get the tattoo done. I wouldn’t necessarily not recommend the shop itself, just not Adam as an artist. To only be tattooing for 2.5 years, have made mistakes, missed lines and then charged that amount of money? Not worth it! Sucks that I paid $300 for a tattoo that was done wrong, and I can either wait until Covid is over and HOPEFULLY he can travel to my province or somewhere close to it, otherwise I’ll have to pay even more money to get someone else to fix it. Overall, the tattoos aren’t good, they are okay at best, but they could be worse, and I guess that’s the upside?

We both love our original tattoos designed by Dani! In Ontario, the expression, "Worth the drive to Acton" has meaning. In Esquimalt, it means the same. Just go there, you wont regret it!!!!

I have been going to JP to get piercings for a couple of years now. He is awesome and makes clients feel so comfortable and I have always had a positive experience with him. However, I can’t support Incendiary tattoos. The tattoo artists do not wear masks and do not take covid safety measures seriously. I am truly disgusted by the owners hateful and incorrect messaging about Covid-19 on Instagram. In one post, he compares covid vaccines to the Holocaust. I will be reporting this business. Please look for a way to support JP outside of this company.

I got my first tattoo here, I had an appointment with a supposed great artist named Jim. When I got to my appointment it turned out he was too busy and couldn't do it so they let a guy who had worked there only a few hours do my tattoo. It's honestly the worst p.o.s that I now have to get covered up. He backtracked through thin font, was shaky and just over all messed the whole thing up. Horrible experience over all and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Less than one star. Based off three factors= impossible to get an appointment(read each message for a week, no reply) stoner kids rule over their stairs during the week, and the fact that they messaged almost instantly over a review and threatened me a couple of times after I'd even explained and left the situation alone for days... very unpleasant and super jaded. Don't go here unless he's your friend already.

I was ready for a nose piercing as I just arrived in Victoria today. The gentleman on the phone was caring and gentle in his approach to his COVID19 restrictions. He then gave us advice as to waiting until we returned home, why that is safer and why it's more beneficial for me. Worst expérience ever. Ive set an appointements with 100$ deposit. They ( Tony) cancelled my appointements the day before, never get à new one, after 3 month to wait, when im asking for that appointements/ refund im being ghosted. Honestly disappointed.
