Definitely didn’t feel like they cared about covid protocols. signs said you had to use hand sanitizer when you came in yet no one asked me to do it or even paid attention to that. i was tattooed by Mason who either took off his mask or had it under his nose the ENTIRE time. Obviously there’s risks with getting tattooed during a pandemic but you’d think they’d care more about their clients and other staff and actually be vigilant about this kind of thing

Slick, bright, cool and clean space. Great crew, feels like they get along. Top notch artists. Everyone tattoos in one huge room, so you'll hear whatever talking is happening and you're gonna have to listen to whatever music is on.

Staff is excellent! I have had 2 of my tattoos done by Mason and I am in love with how they turned out. He is very good at what he does and is very passionate about the work he does and it shows. This is a very safe space and I would recommend this shop any anyone looking to get some nice work done. I had my permanent make up done here too by Kerri who has moved to her own space since I have had them done but she does really awesome work too and is such a rockstar of a person!

Just had a tattoo done at empire..the staff is friendly and honest and i would recommend this plave to everyone. Only negative is they dont have a piercer. I cant say enough good things about the people here. :)

Don't commit to large pieces with Brian Dangerfield (Brian Weir). He would nod off during appointments and clearly tattoos slow on purpose. He now refuses to finish my sleeve because I got into an argument with someone he knows. This guy is a drama queen and obviously mentally ill. Save yourself the time and money.

I've heard the best things about Empire from word of mouth which to me says it all about a place, and let me tell you that I love Empire Tattoo! Dustin will forever be my favourite artist who I can trust with minimal parameters to create a timeless, stunning piece with minimal interference on my part, and also super quirky and makes a rather arduous process that much easier to bear. I would personally work with all the artists at Empire, but so long as Dustin is in Victoria, he will forevermore be my preferred artist. Can't wait to finish my piece in a few weeks!

I had a tattoo done by Emily, I love the tattoo with all my heart because it was a pet that I had pass away and wanted to have a nice memory of him. The tattoo was beautiful; Emily was great, She really listened to me about how I wanted it styled. But when I was requesting Emily to do the tattoo and that I specifically asked for her because I loved her style but I found that the front desk staff (a gentleman) was very confrontational and said that another artist could do what I wanted. But I don't think he understood what I wanted at the same time. The other thing that makes me a little sad is that I really wanted to see my tattoo on there website with the rest of her tattoos but it never has :( But still love looking at my tattoo daily and remembering Pablo.

Got my first tattoo done at Empire, walk-in. Got it for my 25th birthday and had Sean Welsh do mine for me. I can't say enough about my experience going in. Didn't go in with any real expectations, just an idea with what I wanted, and let the artist use my body as the canvas. As a first time experience I couldn't be happier with the service, the artist and the product. Thanks a lot guys, made my birthday special for me! Price was worth it in my eyes. Strongly recommend. 5 stars.

Saw Dave for a tattoo that I wanted to get for a friend dying of cancer. My friend picked the flowers and Dave did his magic. My friend saw the tattoo before she passed away and loved it. I dont know what to do to get service from this shop, I've wrote emails, left messages, they've picked up the phone ONCE out of the 10 times I called and insisted they would contact me within a couple days and that was weeks ago, I've been trying to book a consult since the beginning of November and they haven't bothered to contact me. If they have too much work and they cant do it they just should've said, so I couldve used the time finding a shop/artist that could take me.
