Such a great place. Its a real tattoo shop with real artists who care about what they are doing and the people they are doing it on. Its so laid back and the people are as well.

I got my first Tattoo at Urge 2, and because of Jen Danger it will not be my last. The shop is so clean and the artists are so professional and really care about giving a wonderful tattoo. They have some very talented artists that do some really awesome work. I highly recommend this shop for your first or you fiftieth tattoo, I know that you will walk out of there with something fantastic.

The Urge 2 crew are fantastic to work with, all their artists are so talented and have their own unique style. Everyone that works there is so nice and professional. I've only had a couple pieces done there by Danger Ink and I get so many compliments on them and will absolutely come back for my next one. My artist, Andrew, moved here a few months back. My first piece was done by him elsewhere. I seen him for the first time here about 3 months ago. Everyone in the shop is super friendly, you get a really good vibe from the whole place. It's clean, welcoming and very well taken care of. Andrew is an amazing artist, he is fast, gentle and his work is by far my favorite of all my tattoo's. I will continue going here and would recommend Andrew to anyone.

After my original artist botched my touchups, and another established tattoo shop turned away my super basic tattoo idea, urge tattoo came through and did an excellent job getting my ink done. Very skilled, easy going and cool people who know what they're doing.A little on the steeper side, but trust me they are worth it!

Urge 2 is full of amazing artists and great people all day long. As a customer I love the rotary style machines and that's all that they use on me. I noticed a couple reviews that bothered me. I was in the shop getting tattooed when a customer called and asked if they use rotary machines. My tattoo artist makes fun of me for using rotary and jokes all the time as she is the old school type tattoo artist. This customer must have heard her say " only losers use rotaries" as she was poking fun at me at the time and her tattoo chair is right next to the secretary who answers the phone. They like to banter in this shop and it keeps everyone smiling as they are a fun crew to be around. It sucks reading those bad reviews cause this shop is legitimately the only shop I will ever get tattooed at. They have so many different style artists with amazing talent. Please check out the shop for yourself and you will undoubtingly agree with me once you walk in.

She explained everything completely, and was friendly/approachable with any questions I had. The shop itself was clean and bright, with a close-knit, fun-loving vibe with the other staff and clients. Had Mark "Lobo" do a tattoo for me. I arrived a few minutes prior to my scheduled time. I watched as he finished up on the tattoo he was working on and then as he cleaned up. Impressive and very thorough. Paid a tonne of detail to making sure everything was clean and fresh. The shop is in a slightly less desirable part of town, but that's part of the experience. Very military oriented and as such, the attention to detail is very apparent. Marks work and abilities are very worth the visit.

Got a tattoo here in Dec 2017... I was hacked up badly. I have 22 other tattoos this is the first time I received the amount of skin trauma that I got. My skin was overworked and torn in several places. All the colouring in the lettering has came out over the last 7 months and i have scars from it being over worked. I have been nervous to trust this shop again but called to see if they would touch it up. I was told it was my fault it looks so bad because I don't know how to care for a tattoo. Obviously after 22 other tattoos done by much better artists and qualified tattoo artist I'm sure I know how to protect and care for my tattoos. I would much rather deal with the owner to get this resolved and fixed, but I was told I have to deal with the artist Shawn ... I assume so he doesn't have to admit to his horrible work. I hope the owner sees this post and changes the attitude of his staff and artists.. unfortunately it's people like this Shawn that makes tattoo shops get a bad rap. I do not want this fixed by same artist that's why I called the shop... I will go somewhere else to get work done properly. Good luck if u go here maybe ask for one of the other artists

I've been going to get tattooed at Urge for over 15 yrs the lot of them are extremely talented individuals, they all have there specific specialties and make everyone very comfortable! As artists they are probably some of the best in the city and as for there owner Johnny he is the 1 that puts the place atcthe top he has done not only portraits at a very high standard but he can pretty much cover any style and does cover ups extremely well! I would 100% tell anyone listening that if your looking for any style or type of tattoo go take alook there first you wont regret it!

I had a tattoo done by Mark Lobkowicz on my foot and ankle. I have been stopped by strangers commenting on how amazing it looks, this even while it was still healing. I was able to get what is considered a large colored tatoo in one sitting. I know I have a high pain tolerance but I also attribute it to the fact that Mark is gentle and fast. This shop has talent! From traditional to realism, colour to greys, the artists here are as amazing on skin as they are on any other medium! These artist are able to create art for you rather than copy someone else's art in turn wasting their talent. Great care is put into the work that they attach their name to. The shop is a great example of tattoo culture and the respect that they demand is also deserved! If you are looking for ink that has passion and experience bleed into you forever then these artists will provide you with that in the way that they know is best. Healthy and clean with just the right amount of edge.

I got my first tattoo here a few years ago from Johnny. His work is awesome and he's a good guy. I'm still going back there for more work like my half sleeve. I told him kind of what I wanted and showed him some pictures of similar tattoos, he then drew it out and it's exactly what I wanted. He's a great artist and he's funny as well. The whole shops atmosphere is just great they are always joking around. They don't make you feel as much like a customer as they make you feel more like a friend. All around a great shop and great people will always come back.
