I got a tattoo from Shawn. I gave him a picture of what i wanted with only a couple of very minor modifications. My tattoo ended up looking nothing like the picture, it lacked depth and detail, the shading was terrible, the outlines were way off. But the worst part is he went wayyy too deep. I had a specialist look at it and they said the ink went several layers deeper than any tattoo should go. It left me with obvious scar tissue on my arm and I had to pay to get the whole thing redone and covered up again (which because of all the scar tissue was super painful).

I have had several tattoos done at Pagan Tattoo and get stopped regularly by people asking where they were done. This shop is clean and well maintained and provides lots to look at on the walls while you are sitting in the chair for hours. There are 3 talented artists to choose from depending on your style. Mary Nielson is my choice. She is an amazing artist on and off skin. Her linework is crisp and her details and designs are beautiful! She is easy to work with and is able to make changes on the fly. She is very knowledgeable and is honest about what will work and the best placement. I absolutely recommend this place if you’re looking to have work done.

Worst tattoo experience I’ve had is, with Sean Tracy. He took a 210$ deposit for a drawing a year ago and never phoned back. Sent many voicemails, callbacks. Various emails. Only to get two emails in return, with a petty amount of progress. Also Sean is never in the shop. Gets very distracted in his own world. I would highly unrecommend.

Marcy is the BEST! Not only is she a talented artist but she is also a really decent person who will listen to what you want and work with you. I recommend letting her guide your piece/come up with ideas because she is so imaginative and can create a piece that will look amazing while fitting with your body. She did a large back piece for me and I get so many compliments on it. She also touched up some of my older tattoos. Always a great experience!

Booked a tattoo and got my consultation done. The tattoo artist missed the date to actually get my tattoo done. He emailed me and apologized the next day but when i went to reschedule the appointment he completely fell off the face of the earth with my $100 deposit. Contacted the tattoo parlour multiple time and still heard nothing back weeks later. Really unimpressed with how the whole tattoo parlour handled this.

Have to echo the sentiment others have shared about how this place is run. Granted, this was a very long time ago, but I used to live in the area and stopped by to see about getting my first tattoo. As soon as I walked in, got immediate attitude. It was early in the afternoon and I had a barely one minute conversation with showing a reference picture. No deposit, no appointment booked, just told to come back the next day. When I did, in the afternoon again, they were closed.
