Austin did a wonderful job on a personalized piece I wanted. He worked with my stubbornness???? and made sure to give his professional input so my tattoo would come out looking it’s best! He made me feel comfortable as I’m always a little uneasy in the beginning. My tattoo came out better than I could of hoped for, and still looks great months later!! My boyfriend and I got our tats done on the same day. I was beyond impressed, he helped us decide on the text, the placement and size. It was an amazing experience for us both. Not gonna lie I was a little skeptical when I found out it was at a guys house BUT after going to Austin there's no where else in Edmonton I would recommend! The artist is super talented and friendly. The space is clean, professional, organized, welcoming, and comfortable. Overall a very chill relaxed shop. I have recommended this place to multiple friends and hear nothing but good things back. All have booked again and even recommended to more friends. Cats and Tats is also a HUGE plus if you get a little social anxiety going to a busy shop with tons of other artist and clients, here its just you and the artist which makes it a very comfortable experience every time. Can't wait to go back! And plus sometimes there's a cat there. What gets better than that?!

I remember being a ~little~ sceptical because Austin runs his shop out of his house. But instantly I felt comfortable, safe, and I knew I was in good hands. Not only is he so skilled (I was very surprised when he had only been tattooing for a year … his work and art is AMAZING considering) he is so fun to talk to! The location is easy to find, Austin is so cool and you definitely get your money’s worth! I love my bee and get tons of compliments on it and the placement we chose. 10/10 will come back again! By far my best experience with a tattoo artist.

This was my first tattoo, so I was of course nervous and very particular about what I wanted. Austin was very accommodating, made me feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. Was a little sceptical going to someone’s house for my first tattoo but hands down I would not trade this experience for any other shop. The pieces turned out great and exactly like I wanted. I went home & spent the day returning to the mirror regularly to stare at it. He is very friendly & professional & the entire experience was great.
