We came in for a forward helix piercing and we looked around for a place that didn’t use a piercing gun (we wanted it done traditionally by needle). Josh took care of us for our visit. He was super kind, professional, and explained everything in a concise way for us to understand. He was pleasant, helpful and accommodating. I got Ken as an artist and his specialty is realism I gave him an idea of what I wanted gave him photos of the human anatomy and what I got as a tattoo is on believable. While I was there for my seven hour session I seen a few different staff members in which most of them seem to encourage one another a lot while they’re working. I can’t rave enough about this place and my tattoo artist, Cody. Smiling, welcoming, professional and honest are just the basics with this guy. He helped me select better font for my tattoos and I went back to him again within two months because he was so nice at doing what he does. He would be honest about giving me pain-heads-up as to what will hurt and what will not hurt. He also made a point of making small talk with me so as to distract me off the pain. It was my first time getting a tattoo from him and I choose him again for some more tattoos that I wanted. He just made the whole process so simple. The front desk people are also very welcoming and professional. Love the place!

I had a last minute idea to change my piercing to a hoop, I hate going into places as I find that no one can hit my level of customer service. The lovely lady at the counter listed to my wants, explained she’s not the piercer and went and got Michelle for me. Michelle went through several options for me and put the choice back in my hands. She took my back, did my piercing change, answered questions and made sure I was comfortable with everything that happened. They put my information in the system for easy access to use them in the future. It was super clean, the staff was friendly. Only thing I could suggest is with Covid to maybe offer an e transfer option, most people are doing everything by card. But the ATM fee wasn’t ridiculous. Overall I’m super happy that I made a random Tuesday decision to pop in! Until next time Michelle!

I came in on the spur of the moment for a Daith piercing and they were able to accommodate me almost right away. Michelle, my piercer, was there right on time for my appointment and helped me pick out the appropriate jewelry that I would need and I felt confident in her ability to not just try to show me the most expensive stuff but give me all the options. I also liked how knowledgeable she was about all of the products carried at the shop too. Once in the back room, she made me feel completely at ease and even though I really wasn’t nervous at all, she took the time to allay any fears that I might have had so I know she probably takes the same amount of time and shows the same care and consideration for her other clients as well. The piercing area was totally clean and Michelle patiently explained every step of the procedure as she went along. I don’t know if she gets a wage as well as tips but she is definitely a “gem” and should be given a raise. She’s an asset to Black Diamond Tattoo for sure and I and my family will most definitely come back to see her for any future piercings.

I went in last week to get a tattoo from ken, the tattoo turned out amazing and i absolutely love it but I think they should be more clear on the price and no hidden fees. When I went in for my consultation I was told 3 hrs and a rate of $150 hr but the day of I was told 4 hrs and I was charged $175 a hour , and i was also charged a $25 supply fee which I agree with but was not told about , so at the end of the day my tattoo costed alot more then expected.. so beware!!!

I just got another tat from Black Diamond, this one was from Ken again (my third from him, my last was a portrait of my parents wedding picture which turned out amazing!! Absolutley beautiful realistic work). This was a symbol from Kingdom of Hearts, my sons favorite vidio game growing up and has his name and nickname in banners. The detail in this piece is absolutely amazing and that word isn't enough to explain it. Ken's work is immaculate and giving Cory a run for his money. No worries about any viruses here folks, the place is immaculate.

At the front desk they answered all my daughter questions and helped her pick out her jewelry. Joshua made sure she was comfortable and confident. I went for a nose piercing and the piercer was so welcoming and made me feel comfortable. Such kind staff as well. I love this place and would go again.

My child got snake bites for their 16 birthday. There was a bit of anxiety, but the receptionist was very inviting and made him feel more relaxed. Cory was very patient and helped him feel confident with every step of the process. He made sure that they would sit right and look symmetrical. The team answered any questions we had and provided so much aftercare info. I would suggest them to anyone and go back for any future work that my family wants done. The shop was very clean, sterilized and comfortable.

my daughter went in today to get her nose pierced and it went wonderful the piercer was super nice and thoughtful and talked her through everything, my daughter loves her nose piercing and can’t wait to go back when she’s older to get a tattoo, i would definitely recommend coming here either if it’s ur first time or not amazing service and the people are so nice and so warming 10/10

Called to see how I get a consultation because I was told not to walk in (which I understand) but the lady at the front desk was far from helpful and sounded very annoyed. Still do not know how to get a consultation or put a deposit down, when it literally says to call on your website. Lol Not professional at all. Take your money somewhere else where they can actually help you. Or maybe get someone who actually wants to be there to work at the front desk?

Very clean, Very helpful but became concerned when I kept hearing “can’t guarantee the tattoo here, can’t guarantee it there” sounded like excuse after excuse. The Tattoo itself was done by Ken and was very good (I’m have allot of work done) however it did take longer than expected and I always wonder if regular smoke breaks are factored into the price............. $500 for a hand piece seemed steep to me and the separate “supplies” charge of $25 is annoying, just factor that into the hourly or piece rate. Had to go back for a touch up as the saturation was a little off (again we were reminded they can’t guarantee work on the hand). That being said I would recommend the place but it just wasn’t for me. It takes one personality to put you off a tattoo Shop which is unfortunate. Wish the place every sauces.

Came in to get the jewellery changed in my helix piercing. All staff were so welcoming and pleasant and got me in right away. Studio was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. They had a nice selection of jewellery (I came in looking for a new hoop and they were sold out, but I was able to find a stud I really love quite easily). The piercer was great and checked in often to ensure I was comfortable. They took the time to explain aftercare and answered any questions I had. I’m very happy with my experience and would highly recommend Black Diamond to anyone who is interested!

Where do I begin? This has to have been my best tattoo experience by far. I walked in last night hoping to get some last minute filler work done to finish off a sleeve. In the hour and change that I was there, I must have spoken to every person on staff and was completely blown away by all of their collective and individual inputs. Sadly I wasn’t able to get what I was looking for that night but it was quite honesty a blessing in disguise. After a little bit of schedule juggling on both my and the shops parts, we managed to get an appointment booked in for first thing Saturday morning. Super stoked! Saturday morning rolls around and I walk into the shop and they’re ready and waiting for me. My session started a little later than booked but that’s to be expected with placement and last minute design changes and tweaks. Once both myself and the artist, Ken, were satisfied it was time to rock and roll. Although Ken isn’t much of a talker, in a strange way it kind of fit the experience as he had nothing but laser precise focus. All throughout my session, the other artists were popping their heads in, not to check up on Ken, but because they were all genuinely stoked for me and for what I was getting done. 4 hours flew by but 4 hours well worth its weight in gold. Would I recommend this shop to anyone looking to get some work done... YES Would I recommend this shop to someone getting their first tattoo... YES Would I go back... Abso- F-ing-lutely!!! Black Diamond Tattoo, you’ve outdone yourselves for all of the right reasons. From your customer service to your skill and expertise. Phenomenal. I came here after my sister had an amazing experience with Cory on her tattoo. I wanted a custom half sleeve and I gave him some inspiration to work with, he came up with a beautiful custom piece. He works very quickly but is extremely talented and detailed. Cory even stayed past shop hours to get a bit extra done that day which I appreciate greatly. He is super kind, knowledgeable and talented-as is everyone in the shop. Super clean and dope place. I highly recommend coming here for tats whether you have many or never had got one before.
