Very disappointed with Emily and her unprofessionalism. Not only does she presume what it is you want, without consultation, she makes you feel your business is of no value to her and would rather be at home with her baby. Maybe Emily should finish her mat leave before Anker Tattoo allows her to tarnish their shop any further. I would never step foot in there again!
And to your response; you can defend Emily all you want, nobody should be made to feel that unwelcomed and told what is wrong with the way they want a tribute tattoo on THEIR own body! Any artist doesn't get to arbitrarily choose! There was no consultation regarding the design! If she wanted it done a certain way, maybe do some artwork up from their ideas, work with a client more than the NIGHT before. Your staff said that she didn't think she had enough time, she was clearly in a rush to get back home, even said she had a new baby to get back to. What the hell, finish your mat leave before you come back to work! The level you say it was taken to, was taken there because Emily did not show any respect or even considered the emotions of a potential client, whether she had the time or not. Your response also shows what little information you have on staff that work for you, Emily never said this was a hour appointment, never told me I wouldn't have a choice, Emily did say we could talk about the design the day of this appointment! I was shocked to come in and a stencil at the ready to apply ink on something we never even spoke about! Bottom line...poor staff choices make your establishment below average. I would never recommend this place and in fact I'll be sure to publish it in as many places as possible how potential clients are made to feel at this joint.
