I have been frequenting XS Tattoo for over five years now and they are the pinnacle of professionalism that is upheld not only by their experience but also by their kindness and compassion. Every staff member and piercer I met has been nothing but courteous and lovely. I have gotten my conch, double helix, lobe, rook, and orbital done by them and every trip has been pleasant! Recently, due to an ill thought purchase and my incredibly hypo-allergic skin, my double helix was severely infected and I went back to XS for counsling and a possible re-piercing job and Nico was so unbelievably sweet and kept reassuring me through the slight discomfort of a highly irritated and upset ear getting re-pierced. I have utmost trust in them and in their products and, after my double helix heals, I’ll be sure to shop from their selection of high quality piercings! ???? Keep up the incredible work!

Went in to ask a few questions about getting a tattoo. The lady was extremely rude She seemed like she didn't even want to answer me or give me an appointment (weird) went across the street to adrenaline where I was greeted with a smile and got my tattoo Thank you Marc for kindly inquiring about my review. Frankly I'm not sure who your employee was, I strongly suspect she wasn't an artist. She was extremely impatient and wasn't very interested in taking the time necessary to explain your policies. It's a shame that a bad apple can ruin what looks to be a very highly reviewed establishment. I will reconsider my 1 star review only because you reached out to me and I appreciate you took the time to do so. But perhaps you should speak with the employee in question and explain that she should learn to treat everyone with a little more decency and respect.

These guys are the greatest. We came in late from out of town (20 minutes before close) and they still politely and kindly accommodated myself and two friends to get piercings. All the jewelry you see on my nose (two studs and septum) as well as my partners nose stud are BVLA or handmade jewelry from other brands, all extremely high quality 14k solid gold with VS1 diamond, topaz and AAA cubic zirconia! My girlfriend didnt wanna use her personal google acc* so i told her to use mine : Yan therrien (bald dude) put the wrong dermal top and wrong size in my piercing .. The gem was wrong colour and it was too big and the bar itself was the wrong size. I am very disappointed with xs, they used to be good. Piercings should be taken seriously especially when you are making a hole in someones face. Never coming back. Now i have a scar nothing and wasted money.

Varinder. My man. Thank you so much for the tattoo we developed for my son. I can't say enough about how happy I was with his work. Varinder met deadlines, and developed an incredibly realistic design for my tattoo. Our session was incredible, he was so supportive of all of my needs and my tight timeline to make it in time for my son's birth. I had a disappointing consultation experience at Adrenaline Ouest across the street, but it was meant to be because Varinder at XS gave me a piece of art I'll be thrilled to wear the rest of my life. He's an incredible man with a bright future, and not to mention, a bunch of talent. If you're considering getting a tattoo, this shop is amazing. BTW while I didn't get a tat from Shawn, he dropped in a couple times and seemed like one of the coolest people I've ever met. His voice belongs on the radio, but from his instagram, he obviously belongs in a tattoo shop. The gentleman who schedules appointments at the front is an extremely chill guy and makes you feel like you belong in the shop. I also really appreciated that Nancy checked in while I was waiting and that she would make sure the shop looked great between her appointments. Highly highly recommend this place. I was looking forward to getting a tattoo from this shop as I had only heard and read good things about the place, until I had my consultation. I chose the tattoo artist based on the Instagram page I saw as I thought her style of tattoos would best fit what I wanted. After being 25 min late to the appointment, which to me was completely fine being that she had an appointment before mine, I was at least expecting to be able to have a proper conversation. As soon as I started to show her what I wanted, she came off very strong and rude. I was unable to ask any questions and felt very uncomfortable. Either it was the artist's intention or not, I felt like I was spoken down to, almost as if she was attacking everything I tried to say. I waited 25 minutes for a consultation that lasted less than 10 which was extremely disappointing. I will be going to see someone else who was referred to me instead because there is no way I would of felt comfortable enough to give my opinion on the potential drawing she would have done for my tattoo. I find getting a tattoo artist referred to you by family or friends is VERY important because it allows for you to get a sense of the artist before hand or at least have some type of expectations instead of waisting your time. The overall experience was shockingly disappointing, as I was not expecting that at all.

Got a tattoo done here and came back a few months later for a touch up (since it wasn't done properly) and I did not have the experience I expected. First of all, they charged me $23 for the touch up although no other tattoo shop ever charges for touch-ups if the tattoo has been done within the past year and with the same artist. Secondly, I found it strange and unhygienic that my tattoo artist did not sterilize my arm before re-tracing my tattoo. When I asked why he didn't, he said my body should be used to some bacteria by now.

One of the balls from my industrial fell out and she expected me to buy a whole new piercing. I had my tattoos done by Sean and was very pleased with the results. He was clearly very experienced and professional and skilled at what he does. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because of the woman receptionist who scammed me on the pricing and gave me attitude while doing it. Definitely watch out for her but otherwise a very good place to get your tattoos! Response to the owner: I thank you for responding to my criticism but your response gives me all the more reason for concern. Not only was the receptionist the one who priced and charged me for my tattoo, but she doubled the agreed upon price after I had just finished my tattoos and was at the counter to pay. When I inquired upon why there was a sudden change regarding the agreed upon price she not only dismissed what was previously agreed upon but also did it rather rudely. I simply payed the increased amount as the job was already done but I’d like to make it very clear that the pricing was done solely by the receptionist and without any input whatsoever from the tattoo artist. For anyone reading curious about the specifics I ended up paying 350$ for 45 minutes of tattoo work which I would not have complained about for a moment if that had been the quote I was given initially (initial quote was 150 for a pair of twin tattoos). Nevertheless, the work done by the artist Sean was very good and what’s done is done, however I’d argue that changing the quote after the job is done is no way to run a business. Furthermore, your response confirms without a shadow of a doubt that your receptionist scammed me. Thanks for your reply.
