Actions always mean more than words and their position of standing behind and defending this staff members actions shows that they don't "treat all customers as equals and with respect." I had my ears pierced at Adrenaline in the beginning of August. I was kinda scared and insecure about it because I had it done 5 times before at jewellery stores and always got very painful infection afterwards and had to remove the earrings. Everything went great! I got to pick the jewelry I wanted with no pressure and was taken to the piercing room where I was given all the time I needed to get comfortable and relax. It's now been 10 weeks and I'm looking forwards to going back and picking a few pair of earrings that I can change daily. I'm a bit nervous about taking them out for the first time and putting new ones in, but I'm confident that the staff will be there to assist if I have any problems doing so.

My friend and I went to this parlor to each get a tattoo. Our artist was extremely rude and obviously had some sort of superiority complex. We asked how long it would take and he replied "as long as it needs to take". I asked if I could have my tattoo small and he said "i'll make it as big as it needs to be" etc. After we complained because he made us feel very uncomfortable (which I have never done before) the staff did give us free aftercare for the tattoos. But after I got back to New Brunswick I realized that the dark smudging behind the letters were not bruises, but the artist had clouded my tattoo somehow which has never happened with any of my other 8 tattoos. I was so upset that a part of my body was now ruined, so I sent a picture to them to show them and they said to come in to get it fixed. I live halfway across the country so that wasn't an option for me. They never replied back after that. Terrible, terrible experience. Go to Funhouse in Vancouver, best tattoo experience of my life.

Phil is transphobic and misogynistic, and has discriminated against a past employee of his for being non-binary. He has been creepy towards women having work done in the shop as well. The company also blocked many people from viewing their facebook past after leaving a negative review (they later unblocked me, however i have screenshots of when I was blocked). Do not support this business, they are in support of bigotry and handle criticism unprofessionally.

Went there on a Tuesday morning at the opening hour for piercings with 3 friends. The service was absolutely impeccable. The artist made sure everything was explained to us, she was extremely professional and the precautions she took to respect the COVID measures were extraordinary. It is better to call for an appointment, in case they are busy, but they do take walk-ins. Extremely quick and efficient, very clean and the aftercare is like no other!!!

Phil Quevillon managed me. While he is a great piercer in terms of method, he is racist, transphobic, homophobic, ableist, sexist, misogynistic, and unfit to pierce the diversity of bodies that come through Adrenaline's doors everyday. He insulted my body, my identity, and that of others. If you want to be treated with respect and not be talked about once you leave a shop's doors, take your business elsewhere.

My first experience with this place was super positive. The male piercer that day was very nice, gentle and accommodating. He painlessly changed my navel piercing and it was free of charge. Today i came in to change it since the bar was too long and the piercer who changed it (a blond woman) was rude, impatient and rough while changing it. She also made condescending comments and made me bleed. She made the process painful and I ended up losing the piercing. The front desk also wanted to charge me 10$. Will not return.

I had a great experience at Adrenaline, i walked in & asked who they had that was available, told them my ideas and they recommended i meet with Sarah Laub whoss work i was already familiar with. They scheduled my consultation for later that day. During the consultation with Sarah, who is lovely btw, she was very honest with me about the size of my tattoo (i wanted it to be small bt detailed) and we settled on a bigger one. I asked if we could do it on the spot (had thought about the design a long time ago) but she had just finished a 5hr tattoo so prefered to schedule it later that week which i think was a great idea. When you arrive to get tattoed you have to fill a short form and they check your ID. Before she started tattoing we tried different sizes and she made sure i was pleased with the design and we agreed on changes together. She followed proper procedures and started working on it. It lasted 1h+ and i was very pleased with the outcome. Overall, i recommend getting a tattoo there (make sure you leave a good tip :)). She'll be doing my touch up some time next year.

I did my tragus and conch pierced on both sides. Followed the instructions and came back for check up few weeks ago, because of a tragus infection on one side. A pharmacist prescribed me a topic ointment, however at Adrenaline they just said it was fine, I have to continue to do saline baths for my ear and after few minutes the check up was done. I started asking if there is a need to remove the jewelry or maybe change it, but the girl didn't really care. It will pass, whatever, next. Pretty disappointed, yes I understand that they are not doctors, but at least take your time to inspect and analyse the piercing. You guys ask us to come back for check up's, but you do not provide a service that you claim to offer. Updated (answer added 18/03/2020): It was a piercer that worked on March 6, 2020 in the evening. I specified that my right tragus has infection and I removed the plaster to show it to the person.

i live a little over an hour away from this location and i liked one of their artists work and decided to proceed to do a sleeve with him. Ive book over 8 appointments with this artist for consultation and tattoos. I had 4 other appointments canceled on me. The cancelation was done 15-20 mins before my appointment time, meaning i already spent money on my bus and metro and was 75% of the way there ONLY to turn all the way back. Today was the last draw and told them they would no longer get my service. GOD DAMN RIDICULOUS. My sleeve is half way done... didn’t even get to finish.

I've been going to Adrenaline for piercings since 2007. This is the best place to get body piercings. I was there a little over 2 months ago when I had 2 piercings done. I have never had any problems with the piercings or jewelry from adrenaline. I will only go to adrenaline. I've brought a few friends there to get piercings. The staff are very friendly and I have had only good experiences. Very professional. I don't have any tattoos so I can't comment on that but for body piercings go to Adrenaline you're in good hands.

My daughter and I both went in for piercings. I wanted to center my ear piercings on both ears (that have been there since I was a baby...and that time has taken its toll on). My daughter wanted a tragus piercing since she found out about it. We were greeted by Chris Saliba (owner) with the utmost professionalism and hospitality...and this without an appointment. We chose our jewels and went to the procedure room...where we were pierced with the same professionalism but this time amazing skill was added. I also had my tragus pierced out of sympathy for my daughter. It was a unique experience that had its own stressful components but any reservations, fear or uncertainty we had about the procedures were quickly put to rest by Chris' high level of expertise and human touch. I got my lip pierced a month ago and the lady who did it was super nice and professionnal. They took good care of me. But when I came to change it for a smaller ring the guy was not professionnal at all. He touched my lips with dirty hands (smelled cigarette and other things) and when he replaced the ring he was not gentle and it hurt me. But i got my septum "re-pierced" this week and the guy who did it was honest enough to tell me that he had nothing to do as my septum wasn't closed in the first place. He did not charge me either, only the jewelry. I was with a friend who happen to be non gender conforming and nobody was misgendered or anything so i cant comment on the transphobic thing.

Visited here in 2015 from out of town with a group of 4 friends. We all had simple tattoo ideas and an older artist with long hair agreed to do all of our tattoos. He was a cool and agreeable guy but the quality of the tattoos were absolutely terrible. Literally all of our tattoos started to fade within days after. The linework was also scraggy. My friends have since had to get theirs retouched or tattooed over.

Adrenaline gave me a forward helix that was angled crooked and way too close to the edge of my ear. I visited two other shops who told me I needed to take the piercing out and let it heal before having it redone. I went back to adrenaline to ask what my options were (piercing was also very expensive) but they told me they thought there was no problem and did not offer a refund or complimentary re-piercing.

It’s my body I want to know as much information about the piercing. The piercer wasn’t to bad he just seemed annoyed and seemed like he didn’t want to be working. My boyfriend went to go get his nose pierced there. The piercer was really great. He made jokes and kept the mood light. But the service he got was really not worth the price. The hoop that was put it in wasnt shut properly, eventually we noticed that one side of his hole was already closed and the other open. Even the extra jewelry that he purchased broke and wouldnt shut properly. They charged him the aftercare and sterilization of the jewelry without asking us about it. I mean, we heard so much about how great Adrenaline is but it didnt really meet our expectations. Really dissappointing.

Recently received a tattoo from Adrenaline in Montreal at Rue Sherbrooke. Service was great and the whole staff was welcoming and informative. However, when receiving the tattoo from the artist Olaf, I did not get near to what I requested. The size was twice if not more than what I asked for. The design was amazing, however done in the style I directly said I did not want. Additionally, did not listen to my request for minimal to no shading, went ahead and used almost the maximal shading possible. Quite disappointed with my tattoo and will be covering it soon, but, the people are great and my negative experience is certainly not representative of the place as a whole.

My daughter is 16 years old. I was told to wait on the street while she attended her appointment. I am fully aware of the covid restrictions but they could have shown an ounce of humanity. As I waited other groups came and went with ease. Well never go back. One year later: we have read and heard hundreds of complaints. When we confronted the manager with our concerns, they told us to take our business somewhere else. Fortunately in a diverse city such as Montreal, that is not a problem. Please avoid this place!!!

Until recently I've had great experiences here with piercings and ear stretching over the years-I can't comment on their tattooing. This last time though when I was sizing up my ears, the piercer let me know he thought it would be ok to go up an additional size as I had nicely healed stretchy ears. I trusted his advice, however during the stretch he didn't have exactly the right size taper and had to choose an even bigger size and stretch again in order to get the jewelry in. He told me everything would be fine but that I would feel it. Shortly after I realized I ended up with blowouts in both ears. When I returned a few days later to see if I could size down and what I could do about my healing, the same piercer reassured me that it was fine and I just needed to apply coconut oil, worst case scenario he could trim any excess tissue. I returned again about 3 weeks later still unsure. A new piercer informed me that I did indeed have a blowout, that removing tissue would be a terrible option and that my former piercer had been let go due to poor practices! He was nice but I feel left hanging-no apology and little concern for my current situation. So if you're getting a basic piercing this place is an ok option, I've had very nice service from female piercers in the past. However I would caution anyone from getting more serious work here or expecting helpful aftercare.

I went in to get both my tragus and snug repierced at adrenaline and let me tell you, I was a little nervous since the first time around ended with a poor result. Long story short... The piercings weren't done correctly causing my ears to get infected which left me no choice but to remove the jewelries and close up shop.(A.K.A flushing money down the drain ). It has been 3 weeks now since I got my ears pierced by the lovely Erikletoile. I am happy to report my piercings are fully healed, I had minimal pain during and after the piercings and now I can finally say, I LOVE THEM! I am so happy I took a second chance. This has shown me that these types of jobs truly depends more on the person and not the place. If you want a piercing done right I recommend Erikletoile

I've been to Adrenaline several times up until a year and a half ago when I had the worst tattoo experience. I had Amanda, and after telling her my tattoo idea she said she refused to tattoo my placement for the integrity of the tattoo (which is fine). But then she rushed me because she had other clients waiting, and instead of giving me advice as to where the new placement would be (since she refused the first) she proceeded to respond "I don't care, it's your tattoo". After having anxiety and wanting to walk out, she was just arguing with me that she would charge me for the needles or I hurry up and pick somewhere. Oh and I also got a tiny sub-par tattoo that cost a little over 100$.

I am currently reading all these reviews, since a friend of mine is planning on getting a tattoo and I want him to get a great experience. Most reviews seem good, however the few bad ones i see worry me a bit. First with their receptionist ( not sure it is the same one from the comments) and then their artists. Every bad comment i’ve see has been replied by the owner finding excuses ( every single one she replied to). She does an apology but then follows with ( well you must have done something wrong too, or a client saying this happened, and she replies they dont do that so possibly what is being said didn’t happen) . This review is based on what I’ve read so far, hopefully i am wrong and my friend has a great time. My review will change in time.

If i could give 0 stars, i would still give the 1 just because everyone was friendly. Other than that, I hate my tattoo, so I am being generous. I come from Toronto to get my tattoo done, even emailed the design days in advance so they could work on the stencil before I arrive. Once we came in, I had to show the picture for him to create the stencil on the spot. It came out nice. Once the tattoo was done, I was told that they added extra lines to be more "artistic", which should have been discussed before it was tattooed on? I had given my arm a full month to heal before writing this review. What was supposed to be a simple, clean tattoo looks very sketched out, a bit thick, a bit shaky, and almost free-handed. As if there was no stencil. There are random unfinished and unecessary lines, random unecessary shading, and just a whole mess. I absolutely hate it, and may get it removed. UPDATE: i have changed it from 1 star to 3. Like the Montreal location, the Toronto location has excellent customer service. The owners have helped me to get it closer to how I originally wanted, and everyone had been extremely kind and welcoming throughout the whole process. I will be returning to this mtl location with friends who had gotten work done by Julia, who is excellent and professional.

Very dissapointed. I had gone in for a piercing earlier this year and was happy with it, so decided to go back in to have the jewelry changed. It was a different staff member and my ear was contorted to close the piercing and twist the ball on the inside of my ear (forward helix). When I questioned whether or not we should be replacing it if it was that much of a problem, he said "that's the anatomy of your ear hun". I went somewhere else a week later to have it removed and as it turns out the jewelry can unscrew from top and bottom with proper tools and he removed and replaced it no problem. So no, it wasn't "the anatomy of my ear". I can forgive adrenaline for not knowing about the jewelry unscrewing at top and can appreciate their determination to get it on. What really dissapointed me though was that he didn't bother to clean the blood all over my ear which I noticed immediately after I left.

Do not order anything custom from this location. The order took over a month and a half to get to my house after being told he would receive it only days after I initially placed it, and in the end was mailed something I did not ask for. The owner, Chris (or Kris) who personally took my order, refused to refund me after insulting me by telling me I should just wear my item in another way instead. This was after spending weeks trying to get a hold of him. Now I'm almost $200.00 short, and stuck with an item I did not ask for. Do not bother with this place if your money is worth anything to you.

I've never been pierced here as my body tends to reject piercings, but I have been tattooed here, twice. Even my disabled mother has been in with me and the staff were nothing but kind and helpful to her. I would recommend Adrenaline to anyone in Montreal looking for a reliable, clean and knowledgable shop to get pierced and/or tattooed. I would not recommend getting any ink done here period. Had to get a cover up of one piece I got which I shelled out over 600 and now am stuck with a damn tribal which I never wanted. Terrible work, the talent or lack thereof does not reflect the results which they display. Snake oil sales. If you need to get a tattoo badly this place should never be an option.

Terrible service. I went in to remove a piercing I had done at that very place and not only was the greeter rude with an attitude but they also wanted to CHARGE ME to remove my piercing. When I got it done no one told me that removing it would require tools. I didn’t know they would put something in my own body that I myself wouldn’t be able to take out. They said the fee was because they had to use the tools but if that’s the case then I should have been told that when I got it. Now I am stuck with an earring they put in me and I’m not able to take it out without giving hem even more money. Extremely unprofessional and very rude. Update: shortly after I was told it would cost me money cause it would require the use of tools, I went back home and looked up a YouTube video on how to undo a captive bead ring and was able to pop it out myself with no tools. Another piece of information that I could’ve been told but instead they opted to try to milk me for more money. Ridiculous.

You could tell that they really cared about their customers. Provided me with an aftercare kit afterwards and explanation of how to keep the piercing clean and how to use the kit. I never leave reviews but I feel like I have to. I had such a horrible experience here. I had to pull the plug after my tattoo got off to a horrendously bad start. The lines are suuper jagged. It looks terrible. I went directly to another tattoo shop to ask them to try and salvage it. I have to wait 3 weeks for it to heal to give them the best shot of making it look OK, so for now I'm stuck with a god awful tattoo and not knowing if it's something that can be brought back. I should have done more research to make sure my artist had more experience/higher quality work, but if you're doing your research now and you've read this far, take my advice and try another shop.

The piercer was super friendly and calmed me down when I started freaking out about my septum piercing. He assured me he wouldn't touch the cartilage and it would feel like nothing- and that is exactly how things went! Great experience but only 4 stars cause it's a liiiitttle too pricey.

I've went there 3x to get pierced and every time had issues with my piercing even after thoroughly following their aftercare instructions. I gave them the benefit of the doubt so that's why I went back but now I'm convinced that something is off with their piercings. Only reason im giving them 2 stars and not 1 is because they are very kind and want to help you (even if what they suggest doesn't work). Definitely going elsewhere for my piercings. But yeah, this is my personal experience so yours might differ.

I went on the website to fill out a form for a consultation for a tattoo and waited for a few weeks. Afterwards I called and asked them about it and they told me to go on the website to fill out the form for a consultation. I heard nothing from them for about 4 months and decided to give another try in which they did reply. I went to the shop for the consultation and the staff were very nice and the artist seemed very interested in doing the tattoo. I came back two weeks later for the tattoo and the artist didn't have a stencil and said that it needed to be free handed in order to show what it was supposed to look like, which was strange since I have had heard of artists stating before hand that it was going to be free handed in advance of the tattoo. To be honest, I lost a lot of faith and decided to walk away. I was severely disappointed since it was a tattoo I wanted for a long time. I will still be definitely getting it but from another artist. I told a few of my friends who have had tattoos done and other artists from another store and both parties were outraged. Perhaps it was just a bad day, but thankfully most of my deposit was by gift certificate. However the staff are top notch.

I had gotten my first and only tattoo at Adrenaline in 2001 which was great! I went back a few days ago to have it redone since it was faded and I wanted a tree with 'save the trees' written under it. Derek made the most beautiful tree!!! An amazing artist! Jen, and the test of the team are awesome working during Covid with extra precautions and I cannot thank all of them enough. My tattoo is exactly what I wanted and imagined. Its healing beautifully :))) thanx guys!

I've brought 3 friends to get lobe piercings here, because honestly, for lobe piercings at least, this place offers the best bang for your buck. They use disposable 'guns', which are gentler than normal piercing guns and also very sanitary. Double lobe piercings would cost you ~60$ (excluding tip). Their staff isn't the most friendly/chatty, but that's just fine by me :)

I went in to get my jewelry changed and Emilie was absolutely amazing!!! She was professional and ensured I liked my jewelry. I felt a little light-headed after the change (sometimes that happens to me with piercings) and she was incredibly kind. She sat with me, gave me water and a snack, and ensured I was 100% okay before I left. Adrenaline even called me after to make sure I got home okay. I truly had a great experience and will be going back there for my piercing needs in the future!!

My girlfriend had her nose pierced at a different shop in Quebec and came here to have the jewellery changed. Her piercing had healed perfectly, and had never been infected. She wanted a hoop, the selection was not good and the woman at the front suggested a ring that had a gauge way too big and diameter way too small, so the piercer changed it. The piercer who was changing the jewelry did not bother to check what kind of ring was already in the piercing, or ask. He quickly just yanked on it as hard as he could and when it wouldn't come out he finally looked and realized it was a different ring and took it out correctly. But by this time the damage was done, her nose was sore and bleeding, he had created a wound on her perfectly healed piercing. She felt faint and the piercer went on to pull off her boots without asking or telling her. He then put in the nose ring. Now, many months later, she wanted to changed the ring as she has been dealing with scar tissue ever since then and hates the way it looks. She doesn't want to go back to a shop. The ring will not move. it will not budge a bit. even after several salt water soaks and trying for an hour. now she fears the worst, that scar tissue has formed in the piercing and bonded to the ring or the tissue has closed around the seam. She has no idea what to do. And at the very least, I hope the shop can provide some advice on what she should do with her ruined facial piercing. Horrible experience. Do not go here.

This place is just a few steps away from my apartment, that's how I decided to my third ear piercing there! So I took the appointment and did my piercing a week ago and I'm so satisfied!! First of all the place is SUPER clean, they respect all the protocols for Covid and they make all their clients to respect it too!! They're experienced and they give you their honest opinion based on knowledge and experience, when I wanted to do my third piercing she told me this will be last on the lower ear part and gave me all the instructions and aftercare, plus they gave me the saline spray made for piercing aftercare!! I'm very happy with my piercing and I'd definitely go back to do more piercing in the future!!
