I got my ear peirced at there other location and the lady who did it messed up... She used to small of a gauge, didnt ask me what type of jewelry I wanted and gave me a stud for a cartilage piercing... I came here 2 days after O got it done because the stud kept getting caught on EVERYTHING! Mandy, the lady who fixed it, was so nice, she showed me the jewelry she was using, told me the gauge and told me what she was doing as she went threw the process of fixing it.

Beyond my wildest expectations. The team at Thrash is awesome. They took my concepts and created a work of art that exceeded anything I could ever dream up. Working with Bridgette to get the ball rolling was stress free. Mallory designed my piece and took extra care to make sure my vision was perfect before I even arrived in town. Did I mention we came in from South Carolina to get this work done. She and Matt were hands and ink on from start to finish. By far the best tattoo expereince in the Badlands and well beyond. It was my first tattoo. Went really well not as bad as I expected at all. I did a lower back that will go up my spine eventually. After it healed though I noticed that there were inconsistencies in it. Not sure what happened I had stayed very still and I thought it went well at the time. The guy that did it was really nice and the design he came up with was great. But something went wrong because people that looked at it all noticed the inconsistent lines and filled in places weren't filled in well. It looked really off and I was upset that it was permanent and not looking as I expected. I talked to Loren the owner. He said come in I will fix it for free even though he isn't the one I paid to do it. He was really cool to chat with while he did it and he spent an hour redoing my tattoo. Afterwards it looked SO much better...i mean it looks great! I even asked to tip him but he refused. Loren is a busy guy but if you can wait and get an appointment with him I highly recommend it. Atmosphere at place is great and clean and prices are fair. And they stand by their work and take care of you. I'm sure the guy that first did mine is great or he wouldn't be there and something just went wrong. I had to do it twice but I'm happy!

The place was overpriced for the lack of quality work. Spent $125 on a tattoo that took 10 minutes. Basic tattoo with no shading. A couple of the lines aren't straight and they are thicker than the rest. Heard great things and that's why we picked Thrash's but we weren't impressed. Will not go back and would not recommend.

Mandy was amazing! My great grandma who is almost 80 has been to one tattoo shop before & had a bad experience. We came here to get our tragus piercings changed & I got my daith pierced. The service was wonderful, the shop was clean & tidy, mandy made my grandma feel very comfortable in an environment she normally wouldn't be comfortable in.

Cannot speak highly enough of these guys! My mom and I came in to get tattoos together, and on the way there my car engine seized up, we called the shop and Mallory waited an extra hour beyond our appointment time for us. She was polite and friendly, and all-around an epic person to be around. Our tattoos look and feel incredible and we love them. We both plan on returning to Mallory for future work!

I have gotten four tattoos all which were done at Thrash’s. The staff is very friendly and professional. They are willing to work with you on anything u want and the professional advice is always a plus. Every time I have gone into Thrash’s I have always been impressed. I would not go anywhere else for my tattoos. Anytime I have left thrash’s i leave happy with what I have gotten done. The building is very clean and organized and the staff is very welcoming. Amanda has done most of my tattoos and I was vey excited with how they turned out. She was very friendly and very professional.

I booked an appointment through them, made a deposit, drove from Wisconsin to the shop, and was told upon arriving that my fiance could not sit with me during the tattoo. I found this frustrating but was willing to abide by their rules. At that point I was told they would not tattoo me today because "frustration was bad for the tattoo" and that they "deal with a lot of angry people and we're only looking out for our own safety" I was not angry at all until I was told they refused to tattoo me that day and that they didn't feel like it was a "good fit" and they asked me to leave

The work the artist did was top notch no problem with that part. But if you are you g to get ink get everything in writing first I put a 100 dollar deposit down on a piece that was quooted at 5 or 600 by Pam then got the work done the next morning. Come time to pay she charged me over 700 telling me she wrote it down In her. Book for that. That pure robbery and bullshut I shouldn't have had to pay max the day of over 500 instead she charged my card for almost 700 that tat ended up costing almost 800 dollars I HIGHLY recommend the guys next to the side back strip club can't remember dudes name but he us 6'6" and has dreads he did a,price on my shoulder which thrashed quoted at 600 for 450 and didny screw me on the pruce he kept his word. BE CAREFUL WITH THRASHERS GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING their work is top quality their billing is ROBBERY

If this (picture of a tattoo) is what you are looking for, then this is the place for you. Scaring, completely illegible, just an overall bad experience. This is a picture of my boyfriends tattoo he got while there for the 75th anniversary. My boyfriend had his own on review on here, that was nothing but honest, but yet that review was deleted. I hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else, and that is why I am posting this review. No one deserves to be permanently scarred like this. Buyer beware.

Felt talked down to. Seemed like my artist wanted to do everything her way and not the way I wanted it or even where I wanted it. When things were uneven or lines were too thin and I asked her to improve upon them, I was met with constant excuses as to why she couldn't accommodate me. It's my money, my time and my body and I don't feel happy with the work done. I have to go to a different tattoo place to try to correct her "work" and get what I asked for and paid for. If your going to Sturgis for bike rally or any event in the area and want to get a tattoo.... definitely get one.... JUST NOT HERE if you want to get what you want.

While the dates were a few weeks out, we were able to get our tattoos on the same day. Amanda did an amazing job on each of our pieces. She took the ideas that we presented over email and turned them into two amazing pieces that we are both very happy with. As a local business owner, we appreciate the extra steps and clear communication that Matt and his team are providing during this unprecedented time. The process was simple and straightforward and in our opinion worth the wait. Thank you Matt and thank you Amanda, when the urge for new ink comes again, I know who we’ll call.

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the people were nice enough. The price and tattoo itself isn’t that great. Came in for a spur of the moment family tattoo with my cousins while we were in town for a funeral. I don’t remember any of the names of the people, but a female did my tattoo and it looks bad 2 months later... the fill work is below subpar, the line work is terrible, I couldn’t even hear the machine going, and she was super light handed. I will probably end up getting it covered because it looks terrible and will fade over time. And the price!?! YeH, we should have waited until we got home to get these tattoos. $125 for a tattoo the size of a quarter and no color, just lines. I’ll pass on getting any more tattoos in South Dakota when I’m there.

My arm is a mess from a unprofessional artist & very unfriendly when asking any questions. My tattoo looks like it says Honda Davidson not Harley Davidson. Go at your own risk ....
