We recently lost my Mother suddenly. We found No Love Lost and they were able to squeeze my daughter in for an appt to get a tiny peanut (July 18th). Vy was fantastic and did a great job. Life is too short; so I decided to get my husband his photo realism Stanley Cup tattoo for his birthday. He went in for the consultation July 27th and was very impressed with Daniel. We booked an appt for the following Thurs (Aug 1st). They explained they needed a $100 deposit. I was busy and didn't get a chance to do it until Sun (Jul 28th) at 9 p.m. When I tried to add them my banking app said it was an invalid email account. I grabbed a screenshot and emailed asking them to confirm the address was correct. It looked good to me but they wouldn't be the first company to have a misprint on a business card. We were unable to leave a voicemail as the mailbox was full. Tues (July 30th) my husband called and finally got someone. My to-do list was overflowing with tasks so asked him if they could waive the deposit this time since the appt was only two days away. The male on the phone says "it's our policy, blah, blah". I said to him can you check your email and I will call my bank to find out what the issue is. He says well you can drop cash off - I explain to him about my Mom and that I do not have time and could he either talk to the owner or confirm the email. He calls my husband back and says he spoke with the owner and unfortunately they are going to stand by their policy and they need the $100. I call him back and yes, I snapped. Asked again to have the email confirmed and he says to me drop it off or pay by paypal or some other method. I said to him please just confirm the email address and I will call my bank. He takes the minute and a half to find my email and says - its the correct address. I said Thank you, I will call my bank and get right back to you. He again suggests paypal - I said I am not setting up paypal; if you want someone can come to my place and pick up cash - I'll call my bank and get back to you. Less than 5 minutes later; same guy calls back and says Daniel just came in and has a doctors appt so we have to reschedule. **My thoughts - don't know if Daniel did have an appt or not but to me businesses need to have an ounce of empathy. The appt was 2 days away. As talented as Daniel may be we will be finding another artist.

I highly recommend No Love Lost! The staff is very friendly and the studio itself is clean and sterile. I had my appointment booked with Vy. There was a bit of a hiccup with having to reschedule, but she was kind and super accommodating. I plan on going back for more additional pieces.

My piercer was very good! I had my flat pierced here and it was very quick, clean and painless! It is pricier than any of the other piercing places I’ve been, the total cost including tax for just the one piercing came to around $70! usually I go to Taunton because I can get two for about $45! If you guys put together some better deals for piercings I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends as we want a local but reasonably priced piercing place in bowmanville!

I have been to many tattoo shops over the years and this one is definitely one of the best! All of the staff are so friendly and helpful, you can tell that they have fun together yet maintain a professional atmosphere. I love that there are so many talented individuals that have their own unique styles in one place. The shop is exceptionally clean, the space is open and inviting, overall it’s a place that I will recommend over and over.

Day is such an incredible artist and does some really incredible pieces. I've had 4 tattoos done by her so far and she's crushed it every time! The rest of the staff is always friendly and doing interesting things! Erin at the desk is always amazing and helpful navigating my schedule. Really great team, worth checking out!

I had an amazing experience at No Love Lost! As a tattoo newbie (I only had two), I was a little nervous going in. But everyone in the shop was so welcoming and respectful, after a few minutes, all of my nerves were gone. My artist was Day and she was fantastic! So professional, personable, and incredibly talented. She came up with a brilliant design that I simply adore. The atmosphere of the shop is welcoming and very friendly. I drove to this shop from Buffalo, NY and the trip was 100% worth it. Would go again!

Very clean shop, didnt wait for my appointment, I was very pleased with the work/art I got done at the shop, but price was also amazingly reasonable. I would highly recommend Day, as she is both talented and a sweet personality. (Added photos are her work) I didn't get a piercing this day, but also seemed very easy/fast to get in for an appointment. You won't be disappointed with this shop.

Can't say that I am impressed. I was referred and excited by the work I saw on both my friend and the website. I booked a consultation for a sleeve (so a decent sized project), cleared my morning and made the long trek to Bowmanville where I was greeted with a locked door and an indifferent staff inside who ignored me despite knocking for several minutes. I gave up and the shop has yet to reach back out to me to settle the issue. Very confused by this. Not impressed.

Excellent experience at No Love Lost. This will be the only place I go to get tattoos from here on. Dillion Leask did an amazing job on a large intricate colour piece that I'm absolutely thrilled with. This isn't your average tattoo parlour, the artists are extremely knowledgable and as well their organic tattoo lotions make healing a quick process and your skin feel and look amazing. 10/10!

Me and my sisters went in to have a sister tattoo done and we were all very happy with the experience we had. Sky (artist) was amazing and so patient with us changing our minds a million times on sizes of our tattoos. She listened to what we wanted and we all got exactly what we had in mind. The lady at the front desk didnt get her name, was also very friendly. This is the type of tattoo shop that welcomes, and has a great vibe. I would definitely go back . They gave us really cool after care bandages that speeds up healing, and protects the new tattoo. I appreciate the after care product so much. I feel like this tattoo is going to heal super fast and well!!! Keep up the good work guys and gals!!!

All services went well - Booking and all .. sadly the unprofessional manor of the front desk clerk Stephanie has completely ruined the experience. She made an error which wasn’t a big deal, yet was on a tangent of excuses and just nonsense rambling; to which she then advised she couldn’t rectify the issue. Only Erin could. ???? If you can’t do your job without acting all “triggered” then might I suggest not working in customer service. Do better. And no I did not in ANY WAY imply I was unhappy with her response. I was disgusted by her attitude and claims I had a tone that made her uncomfortable. But believe your employees lies. Won’t help business.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Daniel did 3 of my tattoos which were amazing. The last one he did was my favorite as I left him with an idea and it was better than I ever pictured. I have clients/customers who are very quick to praise the 2 in-sight tatts he's done for me. He has also done a custom piece (his own design) on my husband and it's AMAZING. The details are so well thought out and were executed perfectly. People have stopped my husband in the weirdest places to ask where he's had the work done. I would definitely recommend this shop. You will be greeted by the most awesome receptionist who is a fantastic lady, before you meet the amazing artists. I am so happy to have strolled in there 2 years ago??? Looking forward to another tatt very soon. I'm not sure if I'm addicted to tattoos or the staff at NO LOVE LOST...lol. Maybe a combination of both!

No Love Lost was doing a fundraiser for a dog rescue group that I do transport for (any animal themed tat done in the month of January, they donated 10% of the cost of the tat to Save Our Scruff!). I PM'd them and arranged to stop by and check out their facilities and leave a deposit, and managed to book a tat on the last day of the fundraiser--they were extremely accommodating and very professional. I was late for my actual appointment--they knew that was a possibility--but they "made it work." The tat itself is perfect, and the artist, Kevin, does amazing work. The studio itself is clean, well kept and pleasing to visit. The only negative thing I have to say is that they are a *little* pricey, but as I haven't gotten a tat in a few years, they may be in line with the going rate nowadays; plus, as a tat is something I will have forever, I don't mind paying for quality work. Although it is a bit of a drive for me (I live in Toronto), I will most definitely be back for my next tat!!

Went in for a memorial tattoo of my daughter. I changed my mind alot. Daniel was patient and Professional. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Daniel Armitage is an exceptional artist that takes pride in his work. His passion for art is truly displayed in the tattoos he puts out. His compassion, humility, and love for his work makes him , in my opinion, stand above all the rest. The shop is clean and has a cool, comfortable vibe to it. Erin, the shop manager, is awesome and patient. She gets that a tattoo can be a very important, personal thing. Like me, clients can get a little crazy with emails calls and changes, stressing about the big day. She keeps her cool and still smiles. My partner and I have been to this shop 3 times so far and have always been insanely happy with the custom work we got. Check out Daniel, you won't be disappointed!!!!
