I was so excited to get my sleeve finished with one of the artists at this shop. I absolutely loved his artwork but one of my friends had passed away two weeks prior to my appointment. I emailed my artist immediately when I found out and I asked them to reschedule and I heard nothing back. I called the shop one week later and the person on the phone gave the artist my phone number. I did not hear back from him until the day of my appointment when I was already at the funeral in Omaha. He stated that he would get back with me once he knew a date for a reschedule. I heard nothing back. I texted him again two weeks later and still nothing. Then of course, COVID happened and I assumed that got in the way of reschedules so I tried to be patient. I messaged him again in July and I received nothing back. I finally asked him to refund me my deposit through text and still nothing. I am so saddened that I was treated this way and I am not getting a refund for a mistake that I did not make. I normally would not leave a bad review on a company that I thought so highly of but this was very unprofessional.

I followed Travis on Instagram for a while and reached out to him to get a tattoo. My situation was difficult, as I work 8AM - 4:30PM Monday through Friday and cannot get time off. Travis was understanding of my situation and did my consultation over the phone. He was very busy, but still checked in regularly leading up to my appointment. I had my tattoo done about a month after my consultation, and I could have not asked for a better experience. Travis and the other guys in the shop are all nice, chill guys. Travis gave me my favorite tattoo out of all the ones I have, and I am so thankful. I could not recommend this place enough.

I discovered Goodfellas Tattoo Gallery in January 2018. Goodfellas Tattoo Gallery is such a jaw dropping gorgeous shop. The artists, Nash, Jason and Ty are all award winning tattoo artist with awards all over the shop. As a hairstylist, sanitation and sterilization is EXTREMELY important. You do not need to worry about that. They properly clean their stations before and after each client, properly DISPOSE and DISCARD each needle after every client. They have a TV and pool table for entertainment if you come with a friend or just want to hang out. Goodfellas Tattoo Gallery instantly makes you feel like family not just a client. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've had the chance to be tattooed by Nash, Jason and Ty and I have had nothing but compliments on all tattoos. This is the best place to get some ink and feel like a family!

I had a KCMO tattoo put on my right upper arm. Logan put it on for me. When I first got there, I was told to come back 2 hours later. We were able to go in, the specifics were explained to us by Jason. He was so very polite as well as courteous. Once I got back there, I was next in line and had to wait no later than 1/2 hour. Soon =after, Logan went immediately to work, gave me a fair price and I walked out of the shop a satisfied customer. The only con I had about this whole thing is that I had to pay with cash. That was my only problem. Luckily my husband was able to come to the shop with the funds moments later. The shop was nice, cool and clean and the staff was wonderful. I will be going back there when I come back to KCMO next year.

Love this establishment! Any other tattoo place wouldn’t accept the kids or animals or friends of customers etc.. Owners Nash and Jason literally let anyone come in, it’s very welcoming they will literally get down and play with your kids if they came in. Ask you hey man thirsty hungry we got snacks restrooms are there tv bathrooms the whole 9 .. You don’t have too many places nowadays that are as professional and wholehearted as these guys are, they make coming to get tattooed a great experience I love seeing them my daughter loves going to the shop cause she knows all her buddies are in there. Most of the time they have they’re family stopping by.. Nash’s wife dropping off some food or anything he may need or just to run by for a quick kiss. Just a all around good place to be I have told them all I will never go elsewhere for tattoos there’s only one clear way to go and it’s to Goodfellas! While in Kansas City visting my family for the holidays my daughter-in-law introduced me to Ty Nevels at Goodfellas. I decided to get a coverup on a finger tattoo and lily of the valley flowers( a memorial tattoo for my grandson). Ty executed both flawlessly and he was very personable and considerate. I received a number of compliments and inquires about my finger tattoo while out and about in Kansas City. During my session I had a chance to briefly chat with Nash and see his work in progress which was also flawless. The shop is without a doubt the best decorated and cleanest shop I have ever visited and I never go to shops that are not clean. Seriously even the bathroom was spotless. I called the weekend after my birthday to see if I could get a walk-in tattoo and they said no sorry we’re all booked up. I said that’s fine, can we set up a consultation/appointment then? They said yes, we’ll call you on Tuesday to see when we’re available. I said, “Great! Talk to you Tuesday”. Tuesday rolls around and I never got a call. Then a whole week goes by and I’ve heard nothing. I didn’t think anything of it - I was like oh maybe they forgot and were too busy to call back. So I went in in person to be sure they got my name down what I wanted etc. The guy I talked to seemed very rude. Keep in mind this would have been my first tattoo and I was already nervous about the whole thing. He got my number, I texted him what I wanted right in from of him and then he said alright we’ll call you sometime this week. It has now been over a month and I haven’t gotten a call back. I texted him again and said Any word on this? Didn’t get a response... I couldn’t wait any longer, so I set up an appt with another tattoo artist. Pretty disappointed because I wanted to get a tattoo here as a birthday gift, but they seemed like they were “too good” for it.
