Alex is amazing! He has done one and finished one of my tattoos! I wasn't sure of the color for the one he finished and he really worked with me to get them just right. I didn't have anyone with me this time. I normally have a friend to keep me distracted, but he was able to keep me comfortable and calm so if you're worried about going alone , dont be! He even made me more confident about marrying my fiancé in 4 days. He's really interesting to talk to and awesome at keeping your mind off the pain. There won't be much pain with Alex though! He's incredibly gentle, yet still thorough. The pricing is incredibly reasonable and you definitely get more than you pay for! So make sure to leave a big tip, he absolutely deserves it! I absolutely will go back there in the future and will recommend gold city and Alex to anyone looking to get a tattoo!

My first experience here, I got a tattoo done by Scott and I am mostly in love with it. He was very friendly and made all the fixes on the design I asked. I am giving 3 stars because there are a couple technical flaws with my tattoo that I have noticed. I have a bouqet of flowers and some of the stems of the flowers are randomly placed and not connected to any flower, making it look like random lines. There are also a couple places not holding up too well and I got the tattoo 4 months ago. Other than that, the overall of the tattoo I like. My second experience with Scott was not a favorite of mine, he was supposed to do a cover up on me and promised me pictures consistently over weeks but after a couple months I still never got them. I saw him in person and texted constantly and he would say the design is done and we can get me booked in but never sent them. It was overall a bad experience with feeling like I wasted time, the integrity that the design was even made, and lack in communication.

I've been going to Rob for the past 4, going on 5 years. I got my very first tattoo there in 2012 and have gotten 4 more from him since then. He's done an awesome job on all my tattoos and aims to give you the tattoo exactly how you want it. If it's complex be very descriptive of what you want and he'll make it happen and let you tweak his drawings and ideas if you want something different. He's done a great job on all my traditional inspired tattoos. He's friendly and once you go to him a time or two he really is personal and remembers all his clients. I don't trust going to anyone else for my tattoo needs. Pricing is pretty good too and gets better for long term clients like myself!

At least 4 of my tattoos have been done here, all by Alex. He is amazing and I highly recommend him. His work is really speaks for itself and he has an uncanny way of seeing someone's idea or vision for a tattoo and rendering it beautifully; beyond that though he is just a great person to talk to during the tattoo and has wonderful bedside manner. The shop is very clean and well maintained; and as someone who has been tattooed there recently, I can tell you that they are adhering to all COVID safety protocol.
