I have taken both of my kids here for there first tattoo (17th bday gift). We’re from Iowa, where you have to be 18 to get a tattoo. Dragonfly Tattoo Studio is a cool laid back place. Every artist makes you feel like you have been friends for decades. Both of my kids went with Chris who is down right awesome. Not saying anybody there is bad, because they’re not. S/O to all the artists there. Great place.

I Absolutely Love these guys... I haven't been in to get tatted in years... However, who remembers their very first tat experience? I do! They were in the little building off 54th leavenworth rd. In 2001 I met Troy through my sister, who has a few tats Troy has designed. I was soooo excited and scared. Troy gave me a big brown bear to hold, looked at me said "It's ok! Take a deep breath it will be over before you know it. He made me feel so comfortable. Dragonfly Tattoo made my first Tattoo experience UNFORGETTABLE!!!

Mikayla did my sister and my sibling tattoos. She was incredibly professional, accommodating and the studio is super clean. We asked for an appointment several days in advance, she was able to accommodate the day we requested. They sanitize everything in between different customers. The studio has a bright feel to it, which can be super nice, especially for my sister who was a first timer. Mikayla walked us through everything, and gave us clear instructions. The other artists and clients were super kind and One of the guys even offered us water from the cooler. Highly recommend.

I have heard great things about Dragonfly for years and know many people who have gotten all of their tattoos done here. I got my first one here back in March with Diana and it was a wonderful experience! She did an amazing job for my sisters and I. We had been planning our sister tattoo for 6 or 7 years and she made it perfect. Dragonfly is very clean and informative and they have a ton of experience creating works of art that last a lifetime.

My tattoo artist complained when I asked for a critique on my design. They wouldn't let my boyfriend hold my hand. And my tattoo has parts where it has bled and the tattoo artist I have now said that it was due to the needle going in too far.

You can really tell these men are true artists who are passionate about their work. Went with my cousin to get my first tattoo (her fifth), and the experience was amazing. Chris and Jeremiah were very friendly and helpful, not to mention extremely professional. AWESOME place, very clean. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely go again.

I went in for my first tattoo last week and it was a great experience! I designed the tattoo and my fiancé went to the studio to discuss and book it. The day of the appointment Mikayla double checked it with me and had me verify that it was spelled correctly. She walked me through the process, answered my questions and gave me her advice. Got a tattoo and when I asked for a touch up because the lines weren’t good and the color wasn’t what it should be, they were rude and told me there wasn’t anything wrong with it. Owner threw the “I have been tattooing for over 30 years” excuse for his artist who was a newbie and told me I would be wasting my time and it was supposed to be viewed from afar. If it looks bad up close, it looks bad to the person who is wearing it! The customer isn’t happy, you should honor your contract, not make excuses. I left dissatisfied and the unprofessional newbie sarcastically told me to have a great day. This is how they treat people when they don’t want to fix their mistakes.

So I went here for a last minute birthday tattoo wanting to get a Roman numeral 13, but misspoke when talking to the artist, his name was Chris, and said "VIII" and didn't catch it when he sketched it up. When I realized the mistake after the ink was summer Chris didn't hesitate getting with another artist to sketch up a fix, sat down and fixed it beautifully without charging me extra. I will forever sing you guys praises, thank you so much!
