Great place! Friendly and inviting staff. Excedingly clean establishment by far. More than holds up to any industry and all D.O.H. expectations & requirements. Only issue that can garner a negative remark towards this company is the parking predicament that has beennallotted to this establishment. As long as your not driving a boat of a car, lets say something like a late 80's early 90's Mercury Grand Marquis or a shuttle bus you'll be just fine!

Since then I have gone back to her several times. 4 more for myself as well as getting a couple other people in there also. She always has positive energy and can get along with anybody. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. This is an amazing shop with amazing people. I have only been tattooed by Amber but from the first tattoo she ever did for me I was blown away. She is kind, down to earth and realistic, she will help you decide on the best placement and colors if you need help, she always takes the time to draw something special and makes me feel like her number one priority. Her shop is beautiful, bright and crazy clean. I recommend her and her shop to anyone looking to get a tattoo. I know she does walk in's but it's well worth the time to stop by, have a consultation and book an appointment .

Even during the middle of this pandemic everything felt very safe and clean! I was super nervous at first but Sandy gave me an amazing piece and she was so kind. I had an excellent time getting tattooed by Amber yesterday! The shop is very clean and professional. I was so happy with my design and Amber took care of me throughout the whole experience. I was nervous to get such a big tattoo (my entire forearm) because I have had a bad experience getting tattooed before. In my previous experience I got very lightheaded and sick. I told Amber about this and she made sure I was comfortable and doing well the whole time. She changed gloves several times and made sure everything was sterile and clean. I will definitely be coming back!

My sister and I got tattoos together here and it was a great experience! Booking process was easy and they even bumped us up to an earlier slot when they had a cancellation. I really appreciated the relaxed but professional atmosphere and especially the care they took to follow covid precautions. This was my first tattoo and I was nervous, but Maegan did a great job of putting me at ease -- she explained everything she was doing and was clearly keeping an eye on me to make sure I was OK. When I had a moment of lightheadedness, multiple staff members helped take care of me and we were able to get going again in a matter of minutes. My tattoo is BEAUTIFUL and exactly what I wanted. First off let me say that being from out of state they are very quick to respond online. First impression of the shop is it is VERY clean and decorated well. Both Amber and Trinity are very kind, funny, and professional artists. Not only did our tattoos turn out great they also hooked us up with the best bbq place to eat and gave us the scoop on how to dodge the massive line and get our food quick! After blood sweat and undoubted tears Dear You Tattoo became an iconic space of the Kansas City tattoo scene. Unlike any other shop I've been to it has a more dialed in gallery / botique feel. The two artists are driven by the concept of having a comfortable space with extraordinary service (i mean, most of us have had a less than pleasurable experience with a tattooer who felt entitled to our bodies or to refuse our concepts) - I have been tattooed by Amber - who took great thought and care in tattooing my knuckles which is one of the hardest places to keep delicate lines in tact - SHE NAILED IT.
