My daughter approached me today about wanting her first tattoo so I suggested Akenaton because I was pleased with his work months ago. They were so patient while helping us decide on a very unique, meaningful first tattoo...which ended up becoming a “mother/daughter bonded by ink forever” moment ❤️ Very relaxed, comfortable, and more important friendly environment. This guy is a savior. He fixed this tattoo up so good. It was started by another guy but he was doing so bad that I stopped it midway and went to this artist to fix it. He fixed me up in two sessions. He works quick and doesnt waste anytime. Amazing work here!!! I came in exactly at 11 and was helped with picking out my tattoo. The receptionist gave me good advice and helped me pick something accordingly. The studio is clean and so well decorated. I want to start by talking about his wife, she will be the first face you see as you walk into the studio and she is absolutely amazing. This was my first tattoo and she set me up with an appointment for my sister and I. As she seen that I was nervous she took her time talking to me and giving me advise for the day of the appointment. The day of the appointment I was extremely nervous (sweating, close to wanting to faint you name it I was feeling it). His wife again talked to me and made me feel comfortable. The tattoo artist is very detailed, he wants you to feel comfortable with the placement of the tattoo, and he will take his time explaining the process. While on the chair he explained everything and started the tattoo. Let me tell you this guy’s hand are angels hands because you don’t feel any pressure. He takes his time, ask you if you are ok, and just makes an amazing detailed Tattoo. His wife checked on me multiple times while getting the tattoo. Overall I absolutely love the results he is very talented and they are both amazing individuals. Giving my experience might backfire because the experience was so good that he might get way overbooked and I want another tattoo with him ????, but he deserves all the credit. If you book a tattoo and have to wait months to get it with him TRUST ME is worth the wait.

Akenaton had the best reviews BY FAR not to mention beautiful pictures of their work on google as well. We called them and they were able to sqeeze us in within an hour. The reviews DO NOT LIE the place is spotless, the staff there is amazing. The receptionist consulted us on our tatoos and really knows what she’s talking about. She educated us about what we wanted led us to a better option that will last perfectly forever!!! We had josh do our tattoos and he such a sweet and talented person. He is super gentle and was very personable. The whole experience was a 10/10, my bestie and I love our new forever tats and we would recommend to anyone in this area whether it be tourists on vacation or florida residents!

Unfortunately I can't say anything good about this place. I called to make an appointment and the lady who answered told me they don't do appointments. She stated that if I wanted a tattoo I can walk in between 11am and 6pm. I go in at 2pm and noone is at the front desk after about 5 minutes Eddie walks out and asks how he can help me and I ask for a tattoo to be told not today because he'll be busy with another client for the next 6 hours. When I asked about appointments he says yes, they do appointments. I don't know where the miscommunication started within the shop but I was given incorrect info over the phone. Had I been told to schedule an appointment I would have been scheduled, had tattoo done and probably given a good review like the rest people on here but, since I wasn't treated professionally I will not recommend this tattoo shop to anyone.
