Very kind people but would definitely not recommend getting pierced here. My nose piercing had a huge problem (don't get pierced with a ring first!) and the jewelry dragged the skin down and created a huge bump. I came in multiple times and first got blamed for touching my piercing (I never touched it) and then came in another time and they burst the bump and it came back even bigger. Went to Cowpok (in Buffalo) and they did an amazing job fixing it. It had to be repierced as the original hole was being covered by the bump. I also got my lobes done at Adrenaline and they pierced with guns which is a huge red flag.

Long story short; I’m on a road trip and stopped in here Friday night on a random adventure. The staff working the front were so nice and informative. I really enjoyed their company, we almost forgot why we were there. Anyways, My friend got pierced, and it was a great / pain-free experience. Also, they stay open pretty late... i Highly Recommend!

The tattooer was kind of rude but that was my own fault. I was on a day pass from the psychiatric hospital, and thought "what a great day to get tattooed" and I asked the artist to do a design on my arm that looked like a penis. He wasn't keen on the idea. Anyway, great location, cool that they do walk-ins, and with some crazy ranting you might walkout with a penis tattoo.

Worst experience I've ever had at a tattoo shop!!! My friend had the appointment to get tattooed so I went with her to keep her company through it. I was quiet and non distracting for the artist and my friend so she could sit through her appointment. She was booked for 4 hours. Near the end I could tell she was starting to reach her pain tolerance threshold so I was offering soothing talk to help her make it through to the end of that particular session. I guess the artist was behind on his smoke breaks and was nicking out and began to make snarky, sarcastic comments about "how would I know if he was almost done or not," so I played along and was sarcastic right back. I suppose he couldn't take what he was dishing out and basicly flipped out on me stating I wasn't being respectful and he wouldn't tallotate my "attitude" in his work place when actually he himself was being very Disrespectful to me! Was considering getting inked there but I wont ever go back, not that this shop would care anyway. The other artists were very sweet and fun to talk to but not a great first experience at all, I did not deserve His attitude and snarky comments. I'd give 0 * if it was an option......

The staff are knowledgeable about their craft unlike some stores with just ppl who have no idea what they are doing /selling. Artist turned my arm into mash potatoes and landed me in the hospital as he set the needle wrong and went to deep. I have about 40 tatts and some were even done with a home made gun where a guitar string was the needle. Never once did I bleed like this.

Scheduled my first tattoo with Erin for 1pm but was misunderstood & scheduled for 12pm. Showed up at 12:30pm but was told there wasn't enough time to do it. I offered an extra 150$ above asking price for Erin to make time but he refused. Overall staff seemed angry and I had to apologize for their lack of flexibility to calm them down. There is 24 hours in a day, you will never get more or less. What you chose to prioritize is your choice. Im not a priority. You missed out on 500$ today because of 30 mins when you said you needed 90 mins of tattoo time. I was made to feel guilty for being a customer. Cheers.

Bad experiences. Every time I wanted to speak to a piercer about aftercare, the front staff gave me different instructions every time. Even the piercers recommend a home made saline solution and a spray for your nose, neither of which can be sterile. Would recommend that you go to another shop if you want it done right with better customer service.

Prices are a bit high. You have to show your ID and fill out a form about your medical condition before piercing. Extremely friendly piercers. You can tip them either in the piercing room (by cash) or out at the cashier with your card. I've been here a few times and definitely will go again for my next piercing.

We came here while on vacation. We were quoted by Erin $175 for 1-1.5 hours for the tattoo we wanted. It's a simple feather tattoo, if you google tribal feather it's like on the first search results page. We've gotten similar tattoos in the past that took 45 min, but she insisted this would be more like 1-1.5 hours so she put us down as appointment from 5:30-7 pm. If the tattoo took longer it would be prorated. Okay cool. So anyways, we got there 5:30, we got our tattoo started at 5:45. We were done by 6:30. 45 min! Yet... people at the front still insisted on charging $175. Look, it took half the time you said it would, took absolutely no designing work, and was literally a trace over of a simple design. Don't get me wrong, the tattoo artist Rad was super nice, but we were disappointed by what we were quoted and then had to pay for, which wasn't on him, but Erin and the others out front. Will not be back.

I always get my piercings here and at the kits location. I've had a positive experience every time and so far I'm 8 piercings in. All equipment is sterilized, they understand proper aftercare, they understand your needs and allergies etc. Overall I rate 5 stars and I will always come here in the future

Out of the five piercers I have had experience with, Sarah was definitely the best. She's incredibly fast. It was relatively expensive as I only get pierced with gold jewelry due to allergies, but totally worth the money. I found the staff very friendly and easy to talk to.

Went there yesterday to get my helix pierced. The whole experience was super quick, and staff were polite, and professional. The person who did it (Mike? Micheal?) was really friendly too. I just got my nipple repierced and had the loveliest experience. All of the staff was friendly, informative and took COVID safety seriously. My piercer was Michael and he was just wonderful, asked before he touched me and kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable with everything. I haven't gotten any tattoos from adrenaline yet, but one of my good friends has gotten her first tattoo there and the tattoo artist was very nice! She would only go to adrenaline until she had to move. She also got the majority of her piercings there and they always turned out great!

Adrenaline is focused more on getting you in and out than care and attention. I got both my conch and forward helix pierced here. My conch was pierced with the largest hoop possible. they said it was incase of swelling, but I could literally out the top of my finger through the hoop and it hung so low. it looked terrible. My forward helix was pierced crooked, so now I can’t even get to the flat backing to take it out. The piercing sticks out because of the crookedness and it hurts to try to take it out. I would not go here, it was expensive and neither piercing turned out how I hoped.

I did a walk in today for a Helix piercing and everyone was super attentive even though it seemed a bit busy they helped me right away. Josh was my body mod artist and he was super gentle and super friendly. I had a great experience with him he makes you feel super comfortable and guides you every step of the way. I went to get my web pierced and was unable to because it wasn't thick enough, so I got my forward helix done instead. The piercing was done well and quickly. However after the piercing was done I was given no after care instructions. Which wasn't a problem for me because I have 7 other piercings but I feel as though they should give instructions just in case?

Biggest waste of $75. Got a nipple piercing done on an inverted nipple. It was pierced too shallow, crooked, and began rejecting immediately. Called and emailed to ask for a refund, and they agreed to let me have the refund and get the piercing removed at a different shop as I live far away. Piercer that removed my piercing, and several piercing forums online said that inverted nipples are supposed to be pierced with curved bars, mine was pierced with a straight one. I went to get my refund today and they denied it, stating that they do not allow clients to get their piercings removed elsewhere. So I was unable to get my refund because of a poorly trained employee, and only gave me a $60 voucher when I paid $75 after tip. Adrenaline is definitely not worth the hype.

Went here for walk in piercings with a friend. Our artist, Adam, was fantastic. Walked us through the whole process and was very friendly and calm the whole time. Totally forgot I was getting a needle through the face until I felt it pinch. Very easy to see why they've won awards, would recommend to anyone. This is my first choice for piercings, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Staff is extremely friendly, able to make pleasant conversation while getting the job done. Piercing is always swift and as painless as possible, in a private space away from the main storefront which I really appreciate. Staff speak very casually which is actually a bonus to me; it feels like I'm in a friend setting which helps to lower my anxiety, but if you're not a fan of cussing or casual banter that might not be a plus for you (I, again, appreciate it). The new look is beautiful too, big bonus there! Overall I really love this establishment.

The ginger tattoo artist and blue hair receptionist are the rudest people I have ever met. Don't agree to do walk-ins if your going to have an attitude about my tattoos and tell me you can't do it after I waited 4 hours to come back to see you. receptionist was talking about me to the other employees like I wasn't right there. Only good person here is the piercer with the 3 dermals under his eye, he told me to think about it after hearing how rude the ginger artist was to me and did not push me to get my tattoos done here. I'm literally paying you for art on my body...fix your attitude and mannerisms.

Good jewellery shop, not a place that charges $300 per earring can find reasonably priced stuff and more expensive stuff. Nice service the last time I went, have had poor service before, but just depends whose working. Used to having to make appointments for jewellery at other shops, so it’s nice to get walk in service.

Been going here for years. Had so many piercings done here. Recently, I decided to get my lower belly button pierced and unfortunately it is not straight at all... I've tried straitening it as best as I could but the hole is crooked :( Paid close to 90$ for this piercing and i'm super sad now. Funny thing is she came in to get a second opinion and it was straight but I guess when she pierced it the needle went sideways ... I mean still a great place but just this one experience has made me very upset. Friendly staff as well.

We use the natural spray they sell twice per day on her ears. The lady that did the piercing (sorry, forget your name) was super nice and very good with kids, plus everything was sterile and she made my daughter feel not afraid.

Got tattooed here a couple years ago because it was the only shop open on a long weekend and I was able to get in right away without a prebooked appt which was very awesome. I got a symbol on each forearm...it took 30 mins tops for both to get tattooed... .easy peezy...the part that super sucks was dude told the front guy to charge for 2 x 1hr tattoos and wouldnt come out front and talk to me about it and he didnt do a super stellar job on them,lines are shaky and didnt get filled in good the first time, so I end up having to go pay someone else to go over them and fix it all up ....welllll ok I guess.. it still bugs me to this day... also every other place I got work done gives a lifetime of free touch ups, this place does not. This is just an experience with 1 artist, however I know there are really good ones that work there, either way would not go back for tattoo stuff. There is also some cool clothes for shopping there.

I'm only giving the extra star because the Tattoo Artists I've encountered at this place are really talented at what they do, and there is one staff member that I think is a great human being. Otherwise, I've got to say that this place kind of screwed my partner over. In December, we went in to get some tattoos and we booked our appointments, someone at the front told my partner that she had a credit or something from her last tattoo she had there. It was $50. They told her they would figure it out. Once we came back there for our appointments, we asked about the credit that they had mentioned and they said they accidentally deleted the account and so the credit no longer mattered anymore. Kinda weird and shady. When we asked about it, one of the Piercers (Adam) got all weird about the situation and frankly acted disingenuous. The tattoos themselves are nice but pretty pricey. Every time I've gone in there recently, most of the staff come off as rude and pretentious. Not every staff member of course! Just a few pretty prominent ones.

This review is long overdue but I came in for a 2 for 1 piercing deal back in 2019 or early 2020. 3 piercings, 2 upper lobe, one slanted lower lobe. Waiting on it to heal so I can redo it without the slant because it gets tugged on even when I sleep, has nothing to do with needing to heal further. All 3 were done with *piercing guns* which I wasn't keen on but I already went through it so whatever. Just a little warning in case it does end up needing to be redone like mine :/ might wanna make sure its done with a needle because I absolutely should have asked to do it that way

I visited the Downtown location during the 2 for 1 piercing sale. Despite the crowd in the store, I was quickly approached by an employee. I excepted a lineup, but I didn't need to wait at all! The store had a large selection of piercing jewellery and the piercers are very professional. In total, I had my ear lobes pierced for 40 dollars (2 for 1 sale), and I was very satisfied. Although the layout of the store could use an update to accommodate crowds, fixtures are very close together and overall it seemed very cluttered upon walking in, I don't mind it personally, but for some visitors it might leave a poor impression.

I went to Adrenaline to get them to look at a piercing I had done at a different shop. It was embedding and a bit infected but the shop I had it originally done at blew me off. The piercer at Adrenaline was so professional and he swapped out my jewelry immediately for a longer barbell. My infection was gone within 24hrs and it's no longer embedding. The staff were all so nice and chatty. I had a great experience here and would 100 percent only go here for piercings in Vancouver moving forward! Thank you Adrenaline!!!

A couple of weeks ago I got a beautiful tattoo from Toño that I am very happy with. But I feel that communications from the staff could have been much better. Two examples: 1. The design I gave them had a lot of white areas in it, but the final tattoo had very little white. Why didn't they tell me right away that white ink is very problematic and that they couldn't do big areas of white? 2. The aftercare instructions (all on a little card) are very poor. After a week I was freaked out when the tattoo started peeling and flaking. Nothing on the aftercare card said that this is totally normal.

Had my cartilage pierced & the piercer did not screw the jewellery on tight enough. The ball fell out a couple months later, so I went back to replace it. The original piercer was not there, but it was some dude who put the jewellery in for me. When I asked why the ball fell out, he told me it was b/c I had to screw the ball tightly over the months myself in order to keep it tight. When I told him I wasn't aware of that nor did the piercer tell me to do so, he snarkily replied "well, it's just common sense." I was shocked that he would say something like that to a customer. It's NOT common sense to someone like me, who only has my ears pierced & I know nothing about piercings themselves in general. It would obviously be common sense to someone like him who does this on a daily basis, but not to someone like me. He also refused to give me a discount, saying it was "my fault" that the piercing fell out. Its not the money part that irks me (I ended up paying $180 for jewellery alone), but the fact that he was so utterly unprofessional and all in all being a jerk about this whole situation, as he even ADMITTED that the original piercer should have told me about screwing the jewellery on tight from time to time. I wonder if this guy thought about how unprofessional he sounded by berating a customer, not to mention the fact that all businesses run on customer service. I unfortunately do not remember his name, but will remember his face if I see him again in the store (not that I would go back). All in all, after this bad experience, I would never go back as the guy was unprofessional and stuck up. I wouldn't even recommend this place for a tattoo.. who knows, maybe the tattoo artist "neglect" to tell you some things, but then tell you that it's your fault for not taking care of it properly b/c it's just "common sense". I know people will still go to this store regardless of how many bad reviews it gets, but I forewarn you.. if you don't know much about piercings & the jewellery and want to have a professional opinion, you're not going to get it here without having the people there demean you first.

I myself haven't gotten anything done here YET, but I've accompanied people on two separate occasions. Both times, we were met with pleasant, kind, and knowledgeable staff. The first time, the person we met was very persuasive, convincing my friend to get their 3rds that they were on the fence about, and not exactly being perfectly honest about everything (asked if they pierced with needles instead of gun, the person said yes, but they just used sharpened earrings in single use cartridges - miscommunication), but all the staff was kind and the experience was still pleasant. The second time, my other friend and I went in to look at jewelry options for a piercing they had gotten. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable, letting my friend get a nice close look at all the jewelry they were interested in by taking it out of the case. Other staff who weren't busy even came by to have a fun light conversation. All in all, awesome staff and great experiences!

Corey, who pierced my ears, was great. However, since the sales associate did not provide him with the right earrings, the outcome is very poor due to the following: 1. Since the wrong earrings were put in, Corey took them out and pierced my ears a second time, which was not ideal 2. He matched up the entry hole in the front, but not the back, so I have two exit holes. The healing process has been long and extra painful. 3. Even after my ears heal, there will be a noticeable scar on the back of my ear, which will be visible (I do not like earrings with backs so was planning on switching to hoops). Corey did as much as he could to correct the mistake of the sales associate (complimentary aftercare spray, not charging for piercing and only for jewelry), however it does not make up for the additional pain & scarring. Make sure you check your earrings before you get pierced!

Awesome experience! I had two dermal anchors done at the Granville location. All the staff was super friendly and gave good suggestions since I wasn't very sure how the dermal anchors would work out with MRI. The piercer also recommended me to only get 2 instead of 4 in one go, since I never had them before and my body might reject them. He was extra patient and spent forever making sure the position was what I wanted and aligned with my body/posture. (Got two under my collarbones one on each side) The piercings were painless and healed very nicely! Will go back for the next two in a few weeks :)

I’ve gotten a good portion of my piercings and tattoos here. However, I’m docking off 1 star due to a recent experience when I was looking for a tattoo touch up. As the artist who did it no longer works there or in the province for that matter, I was recommended to someone else in the shop. The session took less than an hour but I was still charged $200 for something I originally paid $360 for. I understand these things are best to do as part of other tattoo sessions but as my only colour tattoo, I didn’t have a choice. I also understand the value of an artist's time at the end of the day but for something that needed VERY minimal work and was done in their shop to begin with, there should have been more discretion with the pricing...

I have always heard super mixed reviews about Adrenaline, so I've steered clear. However, I had been following one of the artists on Instagram for awhile and thought that they would be great for the project my sister and I had in mind. We waited awhile for our appointment and then when we met with the artist, we only got about 7 minutes of their time. The consultation felt super rushed and the artist made it feel like our project was a burden and displayed no excitement about it whatsoever. We never got to see even a sample of we might expect as our tattoo, yet they still took a deposit. The whole experience didn't feel right, and we left the shop feeling bummed and uneasy (and you should always feel pumped for a new tattoo!). I went back and got my deposit the next day. We'll be taking our business elsewhere on this project, and I'll never go back here for anything else. I've had a number of other tattoos and would recommend that you go elsewhere.

Personally, I found that the cost of these piercings aren't necessarily the most affordable. (Helix: $75-$100 and Lobe: $25) Regardless, it was my first time at a tattoo and body piercing parlour and overall had an excellent experience. Although I was young for my age, the employees were respective and attentive to my questions and needs. There was some miscommunication when I was selecting my jewelry for my piercing, which led to the wrong lobe earring (a different one from the one I'd chosen) but my piercer apologized countlessly and replaced the wrong earring with the one I'd initially picked. They were very apologetic for the mishap and compensated the mistake for a complimentary sterilizing solution as an after-care gift. The whole piercing experience took less than 10 minutes, and all piercers seemed very experienced and knowledgable. I would've liked it if they provided more info. on aftercare. Conclusion: 10/10 would return, 3/10 for price, 10/10 for customer service. Would recommend to those who don't mind investing in quality service and jewelry.

Myles Lohman worked on my arm over a year ago, and now I have to go see a dermatologist because the tattoo has raised, is swollen and constantly itches. I specifically asked him if was able to tatt my type of skin, and he said yes. Also I have had a number of other tattoos and this has never happened to me before. I went back there for a touch up around this time last year and he actually made changes to the tattoo that we did not discuss before hand. Disappointed and a waste of my time and money.

I got a piercing here in early January before any new restrictions I haven’t been there since. I relive their service my piercing healed great and overall they had great service. The guy who did my piercing was super nice and I wasn’t intimidated by the environment. I totally recommend and I’ll be back! Got 3 more lobe piercings a week ago and there have been no problems yet, unlike the first piercings that I got done at a mall that were not only lopsided but also red, swollen and oozing for a good 2 months. I just walked in to check out the shop because the display window caught my eye. I had no idea it was a piercing/tattoo parlour. I was immediately greeted by two girls at the piercing desk who politely asked if I was looking to get any work done, I said no thanks and kept looking until I came across the tattoo desk. I though, seeing as I’m here I may as well ask about a tattoo as I had been thinking of getting another one for a while. The staff members again were very polite and professional and got me talking to an artist immediately about what sort of design/layout I was looking for and when they could do it for me. I was so impressed by the outstanding service they displayed I put down a deposit and booked an appointment the next day with their guest artist. I came back the next day and the same great customer service was still there and now I have an awesome tattoo as well. This place is clean, well merchandised, has great staff members, a cool range of clothes, and makes you feel like you’re in good hands from the get go. Thanks guys, and keep up the great work

Gonna be very honest, I got pierced by Mike around 2 months ago. Very nice dude, but completely missed advising not to get a ring for my first time (nostril). I got a bump, due to it, and was completely clueless on what the reason was. Went back to the shop, they walked me in with Adam, who literally told me keep cleaning it up, which I stated I always did as a routine, and couldn’t give me any more solid advice. Like thanks. A few weeks after, went back, and some bleached blonde dude told me to do sea salt soaks. Which I had been already doing. Super unprofessionally almost felt like he really wanted me to get out of his sight, lol. and time after (and not thanks to the very unpleasant to deal with staff), I found out the main reason was the ring due to it moving all the time and being super tricky when healing. I can 100% tell you I did not have the best experience here just because they do not take the time to explain the aftercare and potential complications (maybe they’re too busy and wanna make take clients to make as much tip as fast as they can?) but it’s completely unprofessional the way they just assume you know it all, and when something happens, they just brush it off calling the obvious. Super dissatisfied, wouldn’t go back for sure.

I got my bridge pierced a couple weeks ago by Meghan Person and I am absolutely in love with it. I feel kinda bad because it looked crooked at first, and I told her. But now that the swelling has gone down I noticed it's just because she used a longer bar so it kinda sticks up a bit more, but its not crooked at all. 100% would recommend Meghan, she takes her time and she has very gentle hands. Also I just want to mention that I was told if my piercing was still crooked, to come back and they would fix it. Luckily it doesn't need to be fixed but they were willing to make it right ????

So I got a spider bite piercing back in March of this year. The piercer I had there was fine the day of, but when I went back to ask about the care and to get one of the piercings back in since it fell out, he gave me a little bit of attitude because I didn't remember at first that he was the one who pierced it. Also one of the piercings has come off twice, due to the ball being loose. I wouldn't recommend going here for piercings at least

I would not recommend you get a piercing at this place. The type of steel they use is made with a lot of Nickel (which is an irritant to most) and is made in China, so it is obviously unregulated. I got a bump on my nose stud and the minute I went to a different piercer to change my jewelery to steel made from California (where the industry is regulated) my bump is reduced is to nothing. I went on the facebook page and asked what grade of stainless steel they use. They told me surgical steel. Well surgical steel is stainless steel, and it's a term used by people who don't know what grade of stainless steel is used. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Do your research and find a piercer that uses proper metal - remember, this goes inside your body!

Arranged to get a tattoo while in town to go on Alaska cruise. Store is very nice with great variety of merchandise. Everyone very friendly. Unfortunately, tattoo is only OK. Structure is good but Austin was clearly rushed and shading is not up to my expectations. Admittedly I did make a change to the design when I arrived but was assured it was no problem. Clearly the time required to create a new stencil cut into time for execution. The cost was much less than I expected and I'm sure they would fix it up if I were able to go back. But since I don't get to Vancouver very often that's impractical. I think I can get a local artist to touch up the shading so it's not a catastrophe. In summary, I would recommend the shop, but be sure you don't get rushed to completion.

The staff here are great. Very friendly and helpful. I came here to get my nose pierced and a ring was used. I don’t know if the ring caused the inside hole to migrate downwards but I doubt it. I had to switch it out two weeks later for a glass stud because I had an mri. Because the hole is crooked the stud doesn’t sit even on my nose. I guess I just have to stick with wearing a ring??? In the meantime, I have to wear this crooked looking stud for the next however many months until it heals. Great staff but I wouldn’t come back. I’m disappointed. I’ve always wanted to have this done and now it’s crooked. I’m not a fan of getting pierced and would hate to have to spend more money to get the other side done correctly. So I guess I’ll just work with it.

The piercer whom I had my lip piercing done by (Michael) unfortunately pierced me off centre by about 3mm when it was supposed to be centre lip. This being written after swelling has gone to normal. The customer service otherwise was above and beyond. I Would buy items to wear from there and not recommend it for piercing however.

Best place in Vancouver to get your piercing done! Staff are very welcoming and helpful! Great vibes in the store. Love their staff! Quick and efficient, simple piercing can be done within 30 seconds (providing you're calm). I got almost all of my piercings here and they are very professional and hygienic. They use needles instead of guns which in my experience is more hygienic and the wounds heals better for some reason. I wish they have more selection of the jewellery.

I am really sad to say that had I written this review 2 weeks ago, it would've gotten 5 stars. I love adrenaline and make a point to go there everytime I visit vancouver (I live in calgary). I buy clothes there and have had two tattoos done, the first one turned out really great, I went back expecting the same....however my second piece (smallish banger on my arm) didn't go as well. I couldn't tell at the time as it was fresh and then all scabbed over, but the tattoo artist missed quite a few spots and the color isn't filled in properly. Unfortunately I don't live there so I can't go back and therefore will have to pay my artist here in calgary to fix it. I feel like he (didn't even tell me his name) was rushing through my piece to get onto the next. Regardless I will still visit to shop but haven't decided if I will get tattooed there again or not, as I have one piece that I love and one that I just like, but will love once it is fixed!

I had my nose piercing (that i had for 5 years and never had a single issues with, done somewhere else) tapered and changed. the guy who changed it struggled very hard to change it causing severe scar tissue and it ended up permanently scarring my face. not only am I left with a permanent scar but I was forced to remove my favourite piercing. Once again it was fine for 5 years until I stepped foot in this place.

Very pleased with all of the piercers (3 different staff members) who have helped me each time. Staff at this location are friendly. Do NOT recommend captive hoop piercing as it is hard to take off. Often gets bent if you take off by yourself and can not reuse the hoop when this happens.

Firstly expect the staff to be extremely rude and casual. 1, the store is so badly designed as soon as you enter you see a bunch of clothes and you don't where to go if you want your nose pierced. Half the time there is no one there. 2, After making me sign a document they tell me it's a 45 minute wait. Well thank you for telling me that now? Still, I didn't mind that so much, I walked out to check other stores. 3, After I return I find no one at the desk for piercings so I walk around confused asking the lady at the other desk what to do. She replies rudely that 'they will call your name'. And I'm like where do I even wait? And she's like wherever you want. 4 finally after a guy appears at the desk I am like I'm here to get my nose pierced I filled out a form? And he goes back to get my paper to tell me the gold nose rings are finished and if I'd like silver. I tell them no I clearly mentioned gold and I was willing to pay higher for gold. I didn't come for a silver nose piercing and wished they had told me this earlier instead of wasting so much time. I am so mad at this point I really wish they would have told me they were gonna waste my time, be rude and not deliver what I wanted before I signed any paper. Highly disappointing and will never go/recommend to this store for anything. I've never written a bad review in my life and this is my first because nothing pisses me off more than bad service wasting your time. Ps. A piercing for gold nose ring is 120, without tax and tip and bad service.

Artist "Aron M" is one of the best. I had my second tattoo with him. I found some good designs that I liked and emailed him, then he mixed them all and designed a new one that suits me. the result is perfect. I really suggest Aron and Adernaline for any tattoo lovers.

I’ve been here twice and both times I had similar experiences—friendly staff and quick service (in and out in under 15 minutes). The second time I returned, the piercer even made more of an effort to have a conversation. Both times, he explained the piercing process for me no problem and had me check placement before he went ahead. Where I feel like the service falls short is with the after care. Both times, I was told they sold after care solution but both times I had to ask about the healing process. During the healing process, I’ve had to search for info online and learn there are parts of the process I wasn’t told about. In-store, I was told (when I asked) approximate healing time, how often to use the spray, and to avoid sleeping on the side of the piercing. I wasn’t told anything else about care. My post-piercing research tells me more (even from the Adrenaline site) about specific cleaning procedures. Even though I’m able to search these things online, I feel it would be more helpful for them to be more explicit about care in-store or at least guide you to their website for more info. Both times I left wondering if it really was that simple but irritations made me think otherwise. I’ll mention as well that I went back the second time because nothing really went “wrong” with my first piercing and it was really easy to book an appointment online for the second time (quick availability). For future piercings though, I will likely consider going elsewhere.

Got my first piercing here which was an industrial piercing and, the experience was amazing! The piercer was very kind and respectful, he understood that it was my first piercing and he explained the process, step by step for me. I then got 3/4 lobe piercings here and same thing, very nice and definitely tries to talk with you so that you’ll be distracted. In all honesty, all the employees there are so kind, very funny, and all very open! 10/10 would recommend!

I've had piercings from Adrenaline before (from the other smaller location), but this is the first time that I felt their service wasn't great. I went with my friend's little sister. We went to the 4th ave location first, but forgot that it closes at 8pm instead of 10pm, so we headed to the Granville one. The piercing itself was fine, but they didn't let her know anything about aftercare. When I got my nose pierced last time at the other location, they sat me down for a good 5 minutes and talked about the do's/don't's, but this time the woman who pierced her ear said nothing until we came back to ask. The guy at the till just asked if we wanted their spray and that was it - don't really think that counted as aftercare instructions. Don't get me wrong, the staff were nice, but aftercare-talk should be a must especially if it's a piercing that takes longer to heal (i.e., cartilage)! So, I think we'll be sticking to the other location from now on.

I really wouldn’t recommend this place since the staff are either ignorant or just don’t care. I’ve been here twice to get my helix and snug pierced. Both grew big keloid bumps that needed steroid shots. I’ve had many other piercings that healed fine, so I really don’t believe it is my aftercare. After some research I realized it’s because surgical steel contains nickel, which I indicated on the forms both times, which I’m allergic too. So the staff are either ignorant to the fact surgical steel contains nickel or really didn’t care. I was also never warned how difficult a snug piercing is to heal and how most of them reject. I’ve consulted two other piercers at different studios with this piercing and they said they always warn clients what they are getting into. This goes to show the staff at Adrenaline don’t really care about their clients.

DO NOT EVER GET A TATTOO FROM THIS SHOP. Out of all the shops I've been to, including peoples personal homes, this one was by far the most unprofessional. Whatever you do DO NOT LET BILL TOUCH YOUR SKIN. When I went in he claimed to be a "world famous tattoo artist", instead I was left with a tattoo of a cat with the tail coming out of his head. I called back to try to discuss with him how to proceed, he refused to even speak to me on the phone. The person who spoke to me on the phone hung up on me because he claimed I "yelled" at him. Go to The Fall, or really anywhere else. I am disgusted by their unprofessionalism.

I was there about 7 months ago... I went for a tragus surface piercing, all seemed fine, this guy Mike was super nice, he was the piercer. Everything looked fine for about a month and a half, then I start noticing that something's weird, it didn't exactly look like all this cute pictures online, etc. Obviously it wasn't infected, I took good care of it everyday... The thing was that this guy, for some reason, decided to use a curved barbell, instead of a flat surface one, which now I know is the correct one. First I thought: "oh rookie mistake", but then I go to his Instagram and find out that he has done this kind of piercing before, and (at least on his pictures) used the correct barbell. I still don't know why doing this, if it was on purpose or sincerely an accident... but please be careful, not only here but anywhere you go, ask every question you have before letting anyone near your body.

Went here July 27/2019 drove from Langley to have my 3 year old daughter's ears pierced. Staff was great, they were all really friendly. Prices were more then reasonable. Got into the piercing room and it was really clean. Michael pierced my daughter's ears. He made her feel comfortable and calm. He was so gentle with her, she didn't even flinch or cry. I would definitely recommend this place for kids ears piercings.

I am so glad I got messed around at Gastown Tattoo Parlour, (waiting over a month for a consultation and then when it finally happened the tattoo artist said she wasn't able to do the work I wanted. Even though I sent through all the pictures and descriptions to which she apparently doesn't remember agreeing to even after her colleague pulled up the email correspondence) Anyway, I'm glad they were useless, because I ended up coming to Adrenaline. So far I've had around 18 hours of work done with a whole lot more still to come. First little piece I had was my daughters name on my forearm, Bryan did an amazing job with that tattoo, even my mother, who is not a fan of tattoos thought it 'looked lovely' her words not mine. Not only that, but Bryan is a genuine chap and really takes pride in his work. My second piece requires quite a few sessions, and for this I've been sitting with William. His ability to put what I had in my head and my mismatch of pictures into a magnificent piece of artwork was outstanding. His attention to detail and his ability to blend everything together is phenomenal. The rest of the staff and artists that I'd met were all super friendly and great people. Nothing like being greeted by name when you walk into a place. Cheers Craig!!

I have 10 piercing. The only 2 piercing got from here are uneven and keep bleeding, which are the problems I never had with my other 8 piercing. Price is expensive, but you don't get what you pay for. The only thing I like here is the saline spray they are selling.

Incompetent customer service I had a friend visiting from out of town this Sunday and we wanted to get tattoos sort of spur of the moment. I called around town to see if anyone was taking walk ins but they were all fully booked except for adrenaline. It has a pretty bad reputation around town but I thought the tattoo that I was getting was pretty simple so how bad could it be. I called around 2pm and a young man told me that there were walk ins after 5 pm and that they were first come first served so coming "a little" early would be advised. He asked what we were getting and where and I explained our custom tattoos to him in detail. We came out from Port Moody and arrived around 5:00 and the girl at the counter said they had two appointments at 6:00 and asked to see a picture of the tattoo. I showed her an example of a serotonin molecule on someone else's body and she said it's pretty small but the artist would have to redraw it so we would have had to book a consultation. I explained to her that no mention was made of it on the phone and that we had come a long way and my friend and I repeatedly asked her if she was saying that they only do flash work for walk ins but she wouldn't give us a straight yes or no and kept saying that we would have had to book a consultation and offered us the artists flash books to look at. We looked at them but decided to leave. On the way out I politely reiterated that their policies should be better explained over the phone and rather than apologizing or acknowledging the mistake she argued "well we wouldn't be able to see the picture over the phone" and blamed us for not coming in earlier.....but she essentially told us that they don't do custom work on walk ins so none of this should really matter... probably for the best, if the customer service is any indication this place is like the McDonald's of tattooing

Called for a booking one day and we were told to come in any time before 8 to get an appointment. We came in at 7:45 and were told that there was no way they could see us that evening. After this we emailed them for a 5:30 booking a few days later and they told us it would be fine, we just had to call in the morning to confirm the appointment and give them a deposit. That morning staff was not answering the phones - we tried calling 5 times before emailing them again. They told us that they were busy that day and no more appointments were available. Frustrating experience, going elsewhere for the work. Staff seemed careless and annoyed by us when we came in.

I went to two different Tattoo parlours before coming to this one, to get a cover-up Tattoo. Both places suggested I get laser instead of a cover-up, saying they won't be able to do it (tiny Tattoo behind the ear). Then I met Bill here, who did a fantastic job. For those who are looking to cover your old tattoo with a new one, I highly recommend Bill, but book ahead of time, because everyone else knows that he's amazing :)

Great services! Clean rooms. BUT SUPER UNCLEAR PRICE! I got tricked in here before, so I was super careful. Guy behind the counter showed me some titanium bars for my ear piercing. I asked for the price, and if it included tips. He said yes, it was $60 before tax. It included everything: jewellery, service and tips. So I went through the action, very well done piercing job. When I went to pay, I saw there was a tip % for my bill. So I asked the cashier. He said $60 did not include tips. He added”if you don’t want to tip, then don’t.” I was waiting for this, exactly same thing happened again. The price I agreed to was not the price I paid. I already sweared to never go back before, however this store is near and clean. But I will find a new store from now on.

I got my first cartilage piercing at Adrenaline Granville during their $5 for any piercing with the purchase of jewelry event. I was disappointed in the customer service as I have heard great things about their studio from friends. The piercer was efficient, and it was quite painless, but that's the only good thing about my experience. At the front desk, my total had come up to $100+ but I had been anticipating $60 because of the $5 service fee event that was going on. I inquired about price of jewelry, to which the counter girl explained the jewelry was ~$50 for both the stud and the backing. She let me know that she took off $5 off the $35(?) piercing service fee, to which let her know, that that was not what their advertisement said. I showed her the advertisement on Instagram, but she told me that she did not make the poster, and instead, said I misunderstood. The other staff supported her, saying that I did not read the fine print, when in fact, there was no fine print about $5 OFF rather than $5 FOR a piercing. She tried to offer me a free aftercare piercing, but did not offer an apology. I felt mistreated, despite her rectification of the bill to the correct amount which was around $60 as I had estimated. If a businesses advertises $5 FOR a piercing explicitly in the graphics AND your captions, they are legally required to honour that. I doubt I would be the only one who "misinterpreted" their clear advertisement. Furthermore, I was treated in a way that framed the incident as my fault, and thus, I will not be returning to this studio.

Got a set of hip dermals today from megan.... So I had a horrific Experiance elsewhere prior this week attempting to get them done. Ended up last minute going to adrenaline and my gosh she is phenomenal!!! She did both and I didn't feel a thing, granted I used emla cream both times but the difference in experiances was insane! This place is super friendly and welcoming! I've had my jewelery swapped out a few times by a few of the piercer's there and they've always made the process extremely easy. I've also been tattooed by Kass a few times recently and she is one of the best artists I've ever met! She effortlessly managed to cover up an old wrist tattoo of mine and turned my wrist into a beautuful piece of art. I originally came across Kass because there's not many ppl that would tattoo my finger. I started off with a symbol on my finger and went back for some more. About 5 years ago I had a tattoo done on my ribcage area by a different artist. Unfortunately I forget his name but even he did a great job and was very professional. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a tattoo or a piercing. You would be in good hands regardless of who you go with!

At first i gave a high rating because of the wonderful employees and how smooth my piercing went. But now a couple months later i see that my ear was pierced completely wrong. the piercing goes in on an angle so it looks placed correctly in the front but comes out the back to the side so the back of my piercing is constantly rubbing against the side of my head causing my piercing to stay infected and irritated no matter how well i keep it clean. great store but be careful getting pierced here, its not worth the months of agony ive been going through.

I had a very bad experience with this tattoo shop last week ,come in for a consultation and found that the tattoo artist did not speak or understand ENGLISH ! except of nodding with her head I did not received any induction that she is even listening to a word I said. less then 5 minutes. I was out of the door with the only clear message that , she do not want to work or even looking at my face , disrespectful do not even start to explain the experience. not to mention that the only thing that she did so "kindly" explain that I will need to wait at least half a year to see the tattoo draft on the same day of the tattooing. that made me laugh! I'm sad to be giving the place 2 stars I really am. I came here back in August to get a nose piercing. The women only went and pierced my old hole and wasnt in the place I wanted. So I return in February to resolve this problem they was happy to do so. I wanted a ring and got told by many other shops it was too high for a ring, adrenaline done this for me and i left the store happy, 4 DAYS LATER- I wake up with dried up blood around my pericing and to it being very sore, I went to another store and they was shocked that they allowed me to leave the store on how tight the ring was, it was that tight if I left it in any longer I wouldve had the longest slit down my nose. So I wont be coming here for anymore piercing anytime soon. They dont really care about the customer all about getting people in and out tbh.

They did one of my upper cartilage piercings in my ear many years ago, and it was a positive experience. I mentioned a phobia of needles and they worked with it. The piercing itself was quick and not very painful. I had an Excellent experience there, the staff was incredibly friendly, and fun, no attitude. The store is super clean and well kept. Kass absolutley crushed my small tattoo, even incorporated her own ideas to make it better. Overall amazing experience and will definitely be coming back.

Requested a consultation for a small tattoo, they told me my design was so basic I didn't need one and booked my appointment to get the tattoo without. When I met the tattooist he refused to collaborate or play with my idea, told me what I was asking for was impossible and to go find someone else to do it. Literally walked into the place next door and got an immediate consultation with the tattooist even tho she was in the middle of a piece. She said it sounded easy and to book myself an hour anytime.

OMG!!! Will definitely go back for my next tattoo. I walked in, no appointment, and they made me feel welcomed. The tattoo turned out way better then the picture I brought in with me. Highly recommend this place.

Very unprofessional! I had appointment for tattoo and upon arrival we were informed that tattoo artist is late and will be there within 30 min. After waiting one hour artist still didn't show up and all we got was "we are sorry" and 'will make sure this won't happen again". What about my time that I wasted to come on scheduled appointment? This place is waste of time. At least manager could offer discount or something but in the end we left with no tattoo and not greatly treated.

I literally can't believe how badly they screwed up a basic piercing. I came in for the 2 for 1 deal in January to have my double flat done, and had unbelievable swelling until April when the bottom piercing embedded. I went to another piecer who explained to me that the bottom piercing was done too close the top one and to my conch, so that it was constantly being hit by one or the other. He removed both for me so I can have them redone, but I have a keloid scar where the bottom one used to be. Long story short don't waste your time or money here.

worst experience in a piercing and tattoo studio, the staff are arrogant i wanted a tattoo and a piercing but joe baker was completely disinterested in my tattoo plans and seemed impatient when i asked for a piece of jewelry for my piercing the tattoo artist joe baker clearly needs customer service training. I highly do not recommend this place

Got my helix and a second lobe piercing done here. Although I was nervous at first, the piercer was very accommodating and reassuring. To my surprise, the pain was minimal and i left feeling very happy. However, the staff at the front was not very knowledgeable, and there were a few times my friend and i asked for certain jewelry only to be told they had sold out of those styles. Everyone in the store was friendy though.

I got my ears pierced here two years ago when they offered discounts for getting two or more piercings. I got two lobe piercings and one tragus. I had the tragus done first, and then they proceeded to pierce my earlobes. They did not ask if I wanted them done with a gun or with a needle. They used the disposable piercing gun to pierce both ear lobes. I would have assumed that Adrenaline would use a needle or at least offer to pierce with a needle, as this is what other piercing shops do. I waited for over a year to see if the piercings would heal on their own, but after two years, the earlobe piercings (pierced with a gun) have formed keloids. I have not been prone to keloids before this. On the other hand, I have had many piercings done by Mike (and he is great), but he was not working that day. I do not recommend coming here for lobe piercings.
