Absolutely terrible :( I was in town for work, and went here for a nipple piercing - the jewelry that the piercer put in was much too small. I had to go to a piercer in my hometown to remove it and replace with the proper size. This caused 5 days worth of extreme pain, because, in turn for the wrong size jewelry came an infected piercing site. I've had many piercings, and have never had such an issue. Very disappointing to say the least. It's now costing me nearly $200 because of one piercing. Awful!

He explained the steps and the after-care, and he was ready to assist when I returned to the shop for questions or help. It's certainly a shop I'd come back for my future piercings :)

UDPDATE: Kathy(the owner) called back to cancel the tattoo. Silly, because of this post. Ill throw an extra star up there for ya kathy ;). Honestly they have a few good artists but the place is run horribly. Rude, incompetent front desk people with huge egos, which is understandable now interacting with the owner kathy. Who could careless about her customers and more about the money they bring in. I can appricate standing by ur people but not when any fool could see the wrong doing and blatant disrepectful behaviour that was happening. I will get my tattoo done by pj but i will never step foot in that shop again. There are way better tattoo shops in the area. I recommend avoiding the bad vibes like the plague. Unfortunatly pj who i have respect for already drew my peice which i love up and i put my deposit..otherwise i would just have canceled.

Absolutely LOVED my experience. I got a beautiful custom made design from Jay Klein, who was the kindest and most patient tattoo artist I have ever come across. I have a super low pain threshold and the tattoo was pretty large and I kept squirming, but Jay was super calm and that helped me a lot! Would highly recommend! It also helps that they give you a decent amount of time between your request for an appointment and consultation, so you know for a fact that you want the commitment of a tattoo.

I went to Living Colours for a Daith piercing in July. I was a bit nervous, but everyone was nice and made me comfortable. Unfortunately my earring fell off by itself after 10 days. When I contacted them, they only told me to come and see them, and when I asked about price they told me I would have to pay again for the whole piercing. I was very upset, because I've been told that it is the responsibility of the piercer to tighten it as much as possible to prevent it from falling off. I went to another place to get information on prices, only to be told that I had to wait 2 months before piercing it again. That's the kind of information I'ld have needed right away from the person I contacted. I'm super disappointed and will certainly search for another place for my next piercing.

He's extremely professional and friendly and walks you through everything to make sure you understand the process and are feeling comfortable. He also gives you detailed aftercare tips and lets you know what to expect in the days/weeks to come. I thought I was having a scare with one of my piercings (false alarm), so I emailed Mat and he responded right away which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Mat and Living Colour.

pleasant staff but i received a Tragus piercing and if was pierced far to deep into my ear. Its been a while and still hasnt healed properly, as well as the jewelry was way too small. ive had the jewelry changed as well as have been taking immense care of it and still having problems allowing it to heal.

I was incredibly conflicted about what I should get done but he was patient and professional when helping me decide what to move forward with. He took the time to understand the look I was going for and made recommendations based off healing processes and goal aesthetic. On the other hand, when me and my friend went in on a different day, we had a bad experience with another women who was really rude and condescending. If I recall correctly, she had black hair and full arm tattoos. She was very unprofessional and had a lot of attitude. It looked like she was completely uninterested in her job all together. Won't be returning.

Trusting someone to apply something permanent to your body that affects your appearance in an untold way is a huge decision and not one to be taken lightly. I went in considering SMP. This technique involves tattooing your scalp, giving the appearance of a shaved head. I met with Richard who is the resident expert in the field. Richard consulted me and we reviewed the approach, timelines and cost. I entrusted my blank canvas (bald joke), to Richard and my trust was not misplaced. His techniques, attention to detail and professionalism go beyond what you might expect from a service such as this being provided in a Tattoo shop. Let me assure you that the services Richard provides are personalized and exceed what you would get from a high priced salon that needs to cover their lease costs with crazy prices and sub par work. This wasn't a one session job as my head is completely bald. After a number of sessions my head looks like a man who simply shaves his head. more than a year after Richard completed the work people hadn't really noticed the change in my appearance. Although i noticed people who have known me a long time taking a second look, i could tell they weren't sure what it was they were observing. Did he shave? get a haircut? Funnier still, my own mother when she finally notices something is different she says to me..." I think your hair is growing back" i tried to explain but she didn't believe it. My best friend is married to a professional hair stylist and sitting only a few feet away from me didn't believe that my head was tattooed either. I have many more stories and examples where people are mystified by how real it looks. Make no mistake it's not hair! but who can tell? What they do say is i look 10 years younger.

I've gotten nearly all of my piercings done here, as well as a handful of tattoos! I recently went to have my nipples pierced by Mat, and had the most wonderful experience. Such a genuine human that is so passionate about what he does. We got into the best conversation about the arts and culture as he pierced me, which was a great distraction as well as kept my mind stimulated the whole time. A wonderful place, a great experience. I can’t say enough good things about Richard Hanna, who does collagen induction therapy, microblading and other cosmetic tattooing and micropigmentation work here. He’s incredibly gifted! Rich helped my mother who had always been self-conscious about her thin, sparse eyebrows. Not only did he make them look full, but he helped her choose a colour that was flattering to her skin tone and made her look younger. Even close up they look completely natural. I also happened to meet one of his long-time collagen induction therapy clients and noticed that her skin was glowing and wrinkle-free. She was much older than I am! So, I was interested in getting some help too, since I felt like I’d started disappearing. I’m a single mother of 45. I’ve been pretty busy, and I’ve never been too concerned with my looks, so I was doing the bare minimum to take care of myself and it showed. I was starting to feel strange whenever I looked in the mirror and saw this drab, middle-aged alien looking back. With one glance Richard knew exactly what to do. Since then he’s worked on my lips and lashline; recommended a great skin product; and I’ve done 4 sessions of CIT with him. It’s like my face has come back into focus. My lips were very pale but they now have colour and definition; my rosacea is clearing up; the dark circles under my eyes are almost completely gone; my eyes look more defined and, well, just prettier; and everything looks completely natural! Other than a quick coat of mascara I almost never wear makeup now. People around me are noticing that I look a lot better, but they can’t put their finger on what’s changed. Soon he’s going to help me remove an old scar on my lip, and apparently my skin will only look better and more youthful as I keep doing the CIT. Thank you so much, Richard!!! I feel so much better about myself. I just look more like me! You’re a true gem!

If I could give it 0 stars I would! I tried to book an appointment for a tattoo artist a week ago and they confirmed the tattoo artist would be able to draw and tattoo on the spot even though I was changing the drawing. When I came in he said he wouldn’t be able to and I had to book another appointment for a week after. The shop emailed me 4 days before my appointment a drawing which I didn’t like so I emailed back stating the things I’d like to change and reference pictures. No response. The day before my tattoo I emailed AGAIN confirming they had received my emails and he had made another drawing. No response. The morning of my appointment I called FIVE TIMES to confirm that I would not be wasting my time going all the way there. NO RESPONSE. I got to the shop in time and of course no one read my emails so I couldn’t get my tattoo AGAIN. I’m so disappointed and angry with the compatance of this shop! Horrible service, it’s like they didn’t even care!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WILL DISCOURAGE EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO.

Got a tattoo here a couple of years back. It was a small cursive font tattoo. I found them to be professional, that the work and detailing was good (PJ was the artist I think) and that the staff was competent and friendly. They were pretty clear that if there was a problem I should come back to have it fixed. I’ve had many tattooes and this was a good experience.

The women who did my ear peircings in the past was super kind and patient. On the other hand, when me and my friend went in on a different day, we had a bad experience with another women who was really rude and condescending. If I recall correctly, she had black hair and full arm tattoos. She was very unprofessional and had a lot of attitude. It looked like she was completely uninterested in her job all together. Won't be returning.

I had my septum pierced by Mat, and I can't say enough great things about him! I was able to consult with him about my concerns with having a facial piercing and working in a corporate office, and he was able to offer a piece of jewelry that was smaller and less obvious so that it wouldn't be a huge concern at work. We also went with rose gold coloured jewelry to further put my concerns at ease. Overall, great experience! Great conversations! 10/10 would do it again.

My sister and I came here for our first tattoos about a month ago. Staff was super responsive, friendly and accommodating. We got our matching tattoos done by Jamie who was so patient and kind and made us feel totally comfortable from start to finish. Never made us feel rushed and encouraged us to speak up whenever we needed a break or anything else even though it was a very small tattoo. She made sure she was giving us exactly what we wanted and she did an amazing job! The place was very clean too. The staff are all lovely and very kind, if you have any questions they are all happy to help! They email you reminding you about your appointments and also emailing you to ask how your tattoo is doing and if you need a touch up. Highly recommend! Definitely should stop by!

Around may 22/18 i got my nipples repierced by mat(I had mine pierced by a some one else and they gave me trouble. I took them out to breast feed my twins then they healed up). He was rather professional, he answered all my questions(and my friends questions) and made me laugh away my nervousness. He took his time to sure the piercing would be straight (he seemed very detailoriented) and explained to me and my friend the steps he was going to follow. He made both of feel safe and comfortable. After I got pierced mat went over the after care steps and talked to me about another cleaning oppssion. He also recommended places that sold jewellery. P.s after this second time of getting my nipples pierced from the first day I just knew they were done properly no issues i played soccer the day after also during the summer I played coed soccer 4-6 times a week 1hr-2hrs per game.)

This is an unapologetic rave! Rich O'Hanna has really transformed my appearance in the last two years he has been working on me. Microbladed brows are stunning and totally natural looking. He has performed smokey lash enhancement which make my eyes pop. His plasma Arc eyelift and do regular C.I.T. treatments for skin rejuvenation which have taken years off my appearance not just my opinion but family and friends who notice the rejuvination. I've been seeing Richard for micro pigmentation on my brows. He recommended I do my upper lash line and lips as well. I thought about it for a few months and I'm so happy that I took him up on it. He is a true professional and artist. My brows look fantastic! His use of different colours and techniques add to the texture to make them look so natural. The lash line helps to make me look awake without the hassle of liner. Anyone who knows me knows how much I hate leaving the house without "my lips" but hate lipstick on my drink cup. i got a tattoo "fixed up" by Mariah when i was 16 after it was done i noticed there was a lot of mistakes that weren't on the stencil. i've called the shop and left multiple emails for years. until i gave up when i was 20. but they day after i got tattooed i called the shop and asked for Mariah they replied that they don't have a Mariah working here :/. awkward. i even described her in perfect detail and also explained my problem. but no one seemed to care or want to help me. so now i still live with a half-assed dragon but my rose looks beautiful.
