First off the $50 deposit is ridiculous. I've never had such a steep cost for a deposit before, honestly I've never had to even give one before. Second, they were going to charge $300 for a tattoo worth literally half that so I changed my design to two simple one line tattoos very small one of a turtle and the other of a whale. Now at any other shop this costs about $100, maybe $150 with a very experienced artist. They charged me $200 for it. Complete rip off. No better quality then I could've gotten from my usual artist for $75 but he was too far for me to get to right now. Nice people and all and the dog was cute but seriously 25 minutes of work for a very tiny simple black tattoo and it was $200. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! (post it note in my photo for size comparison)

Very good experience, they were able to get me in for my appointment very quickly (the day I called) which was fantastic. Not that I cheap out when it comes to tattoos but I found the price quite steep (I am telling you guys the cost so you have a reference point). 290$ incl tax & tip, for a 50 minute job. Regardless, I am so happy with how it turned out. The staff was very professional and friendly. Thank you so much!

Started my initial contact with this shop is August on Facebook, then was told to continue messaging on Instagram. We scheduled a consult approx 10 days prior to that date and I was unpleasantly surprised with my poorly arranged consult with an artist who wasn’t even expecting me - Adam took it in stride though & spoke to me about my tattoo as well as he could like preparing for his client waiting in the room. Totally unfair to him, as he was using his prep-time for a paying client to speak to me. Adam was great and is the only reason this shop gets one star, other than the fact that I can’t leave 0 stars. Anyways, I continued to reach out to them through instagram as that seemed to be their preferred method of contact, but I was met by barely any responses. I’d repeated multiple times what work I’d wanted done & sent my ideas to not only their main Facebook account & their Instagram account as well as two of their artists. Ashley seemed to be the best artist for the job so I was told to directly message her and she would get in touch with me soon. NOPE - never heard from her. Not once. After multiple messages. What a joke. After I voiced my displeasure, only then did they attempt to have me in for another consult with no mention of their terrible business practice. I wouldn’t waste your energy trying unless you want to be frustrated and disappointed.

I had an appointment for the $75 apprentice tattoo offer. I requested a design I was expecting would be around 4 inches top. Very small. When I got there, it was made clear that the design couldn't be done as small as I wanted. Overall it was a matter of miscommunication all around. Due to the requirements of size required for the 75 tattoo, I immediately felt awful. The tattoo took significantly longer than I expected. They were soooooo patient and so kind. I offered to pay extra and the owner Cameron said it was my choice ultimately. I definitely paid extra and left a decent tip. The apprentice tattoos were supposed to be small simple peices. I really thought my tattoo would fit in those requirements. Instead of being upset with me, they worked with me. The artist took his time. And for an apprentice tattoo I am very impressed. I truly appreciate how kind they were regarding the entire situation. I know I'm happy. I know the artist mentioned it being his best tattoo so far. I would absolutely recommend them to anybody. :)

One of the young women I work with received additions to tattoo that she was getting WITHOUT her consent. When she first complained that extra colour around the tat had been added, the owner Cameron told her that it was "bruising and it will go away." It turned out to be blue ink and not bruising and all that Cameron has done is tell this women that she is "not a good customer" has offered absolutely no sense of understanding nor compensation for 'mistakes' (or choices wihout seeking client's consent) this artist made. Very disturbing...

Seems I have thin skin (comes with age) but he recognised it, and adjusted to a different needle. Who knew ????‍♀️. Excellent service, great response time (thanks Cameron), very clean, and well priced. (Photo is taken 3 hours after, so covered with the protective bandage). Kelsi is a great piercer and was super patient even when it was a busy day. She was very careful and made sure everything was properly sanitized. I have never been pierced by someone who changed their gloves as often, it was very relieving to know she was so careful about cleanliness. Will definitely come back here

Artists are inexperienced. I had a what looked like an infection and they didn't know what to do about it. They were more scared than I was. My entire body was covered in red circles, like an allergic reaction for a whole week. My tattoo was sensitive for about 3 to 4 months after being done. Couldn't wash it with normal soap, couldn't scratch it... Went somewhere else and covered it because it was all crooked too. Didn't know what type of black ink to use... When my tattoo was 4 months old, it looked like it was 5 years old because it was so discolored.

Avoid this place like the plaque. The final result was horrific. I have since spoken with many other tattoo artists in many different cities to see if they would try to cover it or improve it. They all agree the tattoo is a mess and do not want to touch it. This will cost me a fortune to have removed. What should have been water colour effects turned out like a child drawing and where I tool the artists advice against my original thoughts (he was the expert right?) - Turned out wrong! It is nothing like I expected or wanted and I could have drawn better myself. The colours look awful. DO NOT GO HERE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I've been a customer at Liquid Impact Tattoo for three years. After my most recent tattoo (March 22nd) I realized there was some discoloration around it. With noticing this I asked Cameron Gardner if it was ink. He reassured me that it's just bruising. Days later it hasn't changed so I messaged the artist that did the work saul_tattoo_life (his Instagram handle) and he said he added grey coloring around my tree. I did not consent to this addition. When confirming with Cameron that it is most definitely ink and not bruising. Cameron's response was dismissive and also rude. Saying that I have been "very difficult" with this tattoo. I'm not happy with my tattoo and how this shop handled the situation. Just thought I'd share.

So if i could give this any less than 1 star I would. I went to get a tattoo back in July 3 to be exact. When booking the tattoo I sent a 100$ deposit (,e-transfer) to hold my spot. After completely getting the 3 tattoos I not only paid 1000$ for the 3 tattoos and 2 of which were writing and small ( about 2 inches in length) (on the hand) I also got charged 13.75 for Cameron's e-transfers WHEN E-TRANSFERS ARE FREE!!! I STILL TIPPED MY ARTIST 50$ so after spending $163.75 in one sitting my hand tattoo was littler peeling away as it healed I believe they did not go deep enough and it was also not done as thick as I would like today a month later there is almost nothing left to the tattoo. I contacted Cameron and the artist who worked on me told then I am willing to repay even though after all the Hassel I don't believe I should and they're refusing to touch it up EVEN IF I PAY WHEN THEY DID THE TATTOO !!

I booked an appointment the night before for 1-130 the following day. I showed up early to my appointment so they wouldn't have to wait on me. I ended up waiting until 2 without having anyone update me as to why it was delayed. Eventually, I asked how much longer I might have to wait. The lady at the front desk said "at least thirty minutes" without being apologetic at all about being an hour behind schedule. Would have appreciated being warned from the beginning of how behind schedule they were. Extremely dissatisfied.

I sat with Zu for a tattoo on my shoulder blade. Before starting she sized up the area and gave me a number of ideas that were better than what I walked in with. I did receive her sketch a few days prior, and she made some changes that turned out amazing! She is a true artist as her sketch stencil was an outline of the work she did, I am very pleased with her work!

If i could give this place less than one star, i would. I cannot believe the owner treats people the way he does. I got a really nice sleeve piece by Ash that was also way over what it should have been. I had a good experience with her. Following that, i went to go and get a cover up. The first tattoo artist that looked at it said i needed to put white ink on it before the cover up (ridiculous) and charged 100 dollars for that. Again totally nuts !! (It took all of two minutes) i told the owner Cam that i wanted my money back for that after another artist there told me the white ink was unnecessary for a cover up. He offered 100 dollars off the actual cover up. He never agreed on a price until after the tattoo was done. (One session out of two) and acted like he was giving me a deal when he said it would be 500 dollars and would not give me a breakdown of the price and later makes a status on his personal page that was arrogant and ridiculous for a business owner to make!! I think he needs more training dealing with customers. He is making his artists lose out on tattoos and people that would've otherwise come back if they hadn't been scammed by Cam. I have attached a photo of what he is trying to charge 500 for (minus 100 acting like its a deal) i will never be returning. I was warned before by people but now i get it. Beware of this place honestly.

As an artist who came from a terrible shop with very poor management and hospitality last summer, I can definitely say Liquid Impact is a great place to work! We have an amazing team of dedicated artists, a fully renovated studio where each artist has their own private workstation (perfect for people who are sensitive to privacy) as well as very clean, respectful and happy vibes all around!
