I got my toung and noise piercing and my noise is perfect l love it but my toung gotten really bad than i went to the monfort and they had to take out my toung piercing and give me fluids and antibiotics and now im on meds for 2 weeks and i have to take fluds for another 2 weeks thats how my my toung turned out after i got it here but my noise is perfect

Had a pair of lobe piercings done by Juliette—couldn't of imagined a more ideal experience. Numbed the pain—or lack thereof—with her charisma as we chatted throughout the entire session. You cannot ask for better service.

very nice people but the same woman piercer was in both times my friend and I went and she pierced our ears with a gauge too big and used giant septum rings instead of studs but didnt tell us so we had to find out after she already pierced them. We went back a second time hoping it would be someone different but it wasnt. she has no idea what shes doing while piercing, as my nose started bleeding pretty bad and my friends smiley piercing was giant even though she assured her it would be small and the right size. would not recommend for piercings

[Percing experience] The costumer service is great and the prices are too, although I would not recommend for you to get a percing there. I got my septum done and it’s not straight at all. You can see how crooked it is. I’m dissapointed of this experience and will get it done elsewhere once it’s healed.

Got my septum pierced by Juliette. It was my first time getting a piercing done at a studio, and she was very informative, answered all my questions, and calmed my nerves. My piercing turned out very straight and is properly placed. I am very happy with everything about my experience at this place and I will absolutely come back if I decide to get another piercing done.

The shop has good hours and is one of the cheapest in town. I had a great piercing experience here in 2018 and two not great ones in 2019 (different person). A rushed experience, they didn't listen to what I was asking for, didn't show me the dots where it would be going, and didn't thoroughly clean the area. They use low quality jewellery, the finish flaked off IN THE PIERCING. I recommend you go elsewhere!!

Store was very clean and staff was friendly. I went in for a tongue piercing. The lady was very good, but the barbell she used a to long. I had to go to new moon to get a shorter barbell. The man there was appalled at the size, he said the told the lady used a industrial piercing barbell! He told me that would have not healed well as it was constantly being bumped. I couldn't talk it was so long. I managed to change the bar on my own with alot of pain. This is my 3rd time getting it done and I never had a bar so long :(

My sister and I came here to get pierced today. She got a rook and a nostril, I got a daith and a helix. We both love our piercings and could not be happier. The woman who pierced us was very professional, answered all our questions, and helped us with future piercing ideas (checking anatomy for piercings we’re interested in getting later on). I’ve been to several piercing places in ottawa and she is definitely my favourite piercer. Will be going back to her exclusively, and recommending to anyone wanting a piercing done!

My first time going there was yesterday. They are very professional and welcoming. I have been to tattoo shops before and where I wanted to get this tattoo was over some scars I had which previous shops have told me they feel "uncomfortable with my scars" The guy was super nice about it and I was able to do a walk in session. I go back in a week or two to finish the tattoo. Over all it was best best experience I've had in a tattoo parlor ever! I'm deffinetly going back there! Staff is also very comical with eachother. Plus also VERY clean!

Overpriced and poor service. When the artist got told the tattoo was not going to get done, he responded back with "Well if you would have told me you weren't going to get it, i would not have helped you so much". As if the customer expects a small tattoo to be 300$ when in any other good shops, it would be around 150 or 200 for the same thing.

My Girlfriend and I booked an appointment for the the following afternoon, we showed up 10 minutes early, first impressions were dark, quiet, and honestly a little dirty. we checked in and filled out our forms, and waited a solid 20 minutes before the artist came to see us. When asked about what we wanted, we were met with negative energy, without any creative input. My girlfriend was trying to explain that she wanted a mix between 2 designs, to which the artist replied “well you're going to have to choose, its on you forever.” When it came to my design, I asked for a small logo, only line-work and 2 inches, and was shown a stencil of one section of the logo 5 inches big. The artist than disappeared for another 35 minutes without any more discussion. We were uncomfortable, and decided to cancel. When we told the front desk we got nothing but glares and attitude. In addition, the debit machine was out of order, so cash only… but the atm was also out of order? As soon as we left we went to Future Skin up the street, and was instantly met with positivity, and was told our tattoos were totally doable, and the artists would be able to design the work in front of us , and give us input. We booked for tomorrow, and feel a lot more comfortable/confident with their facilities and their staff. Would avoid inksessions…

Personally I think inksession is one of the best places to get a tattoo in downtown ottawa! The staff is incredible from the front desk to the artists! I have had tattoos done there and they are exactly what i wanted and look beautiful. The shop is very clean and the artists are extremely good at what they do. I highly recommend this place if your looking for some fresh ink!

I went for my birthday to get just the outline and got Dylan as my tattoo artist. First of all he had his headphones in the whole time which to me is unsafe, he rushed the tattoo which made some of the lines rough. Then he added dots all surrounding it which I don’t understand why, it wasn’t in the sketch and it looks awful. Once the tattoo was finished, he didn’t even tell me any aftercare!! It could’ve gotten infected, but good thing I was with my friend who had tattoo’s. Now I have to go and pay to fix it and add shading where I didn’t even originally want it. Worst experience ever and it was my first tattoo.

Just wanted to take a min to mention how impressed I was with my recent visit to INKsession. My son begged to get his eyebrow pierced for his birthday. Becca and the rest of the staff showed the highest level of kindness and customer service from the time we walked to the time we left. my son being young was obviously nervous, Becca was amazing at setting his nerves and mind at ease and walked him through every step of the process. as well having been to a number of tattoo shops throughout my life. I can attest that INKsession is one of if not the nicest and cleanest places I have ever been to.

Walked in today for my first tattoo and I cannot be happier with my experience. The staff Is very friendly and answered all my questions while working with me to help finalize the style and placement as I wasn't 100% sure how I wanted it formated. Paul was an excellent artist and everyone I spoke to while waiting were very professional. The place is clean and cool and I will definately be going back in the future. I'll also be recommending it to all my friends!

To start off, the prices are competitive and you should most definitely go here. I got a peircing here a week ago or so and it feels amazing right now. The piercer was nice and patient too. I recommend this place to everyone.

The actual piercing experience was awesome very professional, but the piercing placement was terrible. The piercer herself assured me that she had done hundreds of them before so she could definitely do it. Well come to find out, she does not know how to place this piercing so it works for different peoples anatomy. Had to take it out, now going to Mauve in Montreal to get it done by someone who knows how to do specialized piercing. I would not recommend this place for any specialized piercings, I'm sure the conventional ones would be fine.

Went in because I was playing with the idea of getting my first tattoo and I found that this place has very good atmosphere and are very friendly and professional staff. They knew I was anxious and scared for this experience and they were patient and kind. They made me feel welcome and even helped with ideas for my tattoo. Very impressed with my tattoo artist, gets my ideas and i dont feel bad if I want to change or add something at the last minute and I end up with the best results. I am going back for my 3rd tattoo and even brought my sister for one too. Try it out you won't be dissapointed its even close to bus routes and a Tim Hortons now thats service.

I got my conch pierced recently and overall I am happy with it, however now that I’ve done some more research (my own fault I didn’t do it before hand, but I wasn’t planning on getting the conch at the time of the appointment, something came up and I had to pick a new spot) I really wish it had been pierced with a stud instead of a ring, as that seems to be the standard. It’s hard to avoid hitting the ring and I know it’s not healing as well as it could be for this reason.

Great and quick service; was in Ottawa for vacation and had a spur of the moment decision to get my very first tattoo. All the other tat shops said they were too busy (I totally understand), but the guy at the front (wish I got his name) when I walked in actually checked their calendar and sincerly looked if they could accomodate —and they asked questions (size, design, etc.) to determine if it was possible! Told me to come back after an hour and got accomodated :) Dylan was the artist I got and he was great!
