Some friends and I had set up a group appt about a week in advance for simple commemorative tattoo. Ryan was awesome and worked with us to provide a unique spin for each of us. Two of our party took a pretty serious detour from the original plan and he took it in stride. One of us had a design that required collaboration between Ryan and Kelsey and it turned out awesome. Reasonable prices and super friendly staff. Bonus points for the sweetest old shop dog!

Mixed reviews on this place. I have had two pieces and my partner has also had two pieces done. If you want something small done or something where you have an exact image of what you want there work is faultless and the quality and cost of the tattoo is good! However have had two very unprofessional instances with a specific male in the shop. First was pre covid when a tattoo was booked and had to be cancelled due to the shop closing. The deposit was kept on the intention that I would be contacted to rebook once the shop reopened however I did not get a call back and only was able to rebook when I went in to speak again. At this time they did not have track of the deposit paid or remember anything about this. After rebooking was told I would receive a drawing of the custom design a week prior, however this was never recieved. I was also told best way to contact was through the male artists instagram, which I had messaged a week or so before going in and got no response. When the time come for the tattoo the artist rang and told me that he never releases drawings which went against what I was told. All in all one poor experience from this guy and I wont be returning. Further to what was posted last week I have been contacted to the shop and they have asked to take down my review and in exchange they would give my deposit back. This concretes the unprofessional behaviour mentioned before and makes me question the validity and reliability of all other reviews posted thus far. Do not recommend.

The shop is clean and welcoming and has nothing but good vibes. I insta-stalked Kelsey for a few months and am blown away by her art. Finally I decided to book in and I have no hesitation to recommend the shop and Kelsey to anyone looking to get a tattoo. Seriously though, Kelsey is beyond talented! She did an incredible job creating my polar bear tattoo dream last October. She is gentle with the needle and honestly it didn’t start getting painful until maybe hour 5 when the white was getting added in. I am completely obsessed with how amazing it turned out and can’t wait to go back and add on more and more.

I reached out to these folks to see if my friends and I could get a simple commemorative group tattoo during our first trip to Whistler. We had a basic design that we wanted done and they said it would be no problem. We set up a date and time over the phone. Day of, a couple of folks in our group changed their minds with regards to the direction of the design so we talked about the design with our artist Ryan and who would get what. Two of us ended up going the original route with a simple predetermined line piece. The other two got very custom-conceived designs, one which required a lot of extra time and skill. Ryan was incredibly patient and collaborative, really helpful and laid back but professional. It was my first tattoo among friends who had many and I was glad to get such quick, precise service I'm glad they could make my first time a painless one, so to speak.

We looked at places in the area and specifically came here because we loved the work we saw online. Kelsey was nice enough to stay past her opening hours to do pieces for each of us, including a cute sprig design for one of my friends which looked absolutely stunning! I’m definitely going to be coming back here when I’m in Whistler again. Such a friendly environment and we saw a really cute dog so that made it even better. When I first entered the Whistler Tattoo Shop, I was blown away, at first, by the art second, by the whimsical wooden gear display and, third, by the warmth and openness of the atmosphere. In the all too short moments of my consultation (I could watch Kelsey draw all day!), several people came in by word of mouth or were repeat customers: a father and son, a couple in love, friends and singletons all wandered in for a chance at the amazing indelibles by Whistler Tattoo Company. Kelsey works swiftly, and her needles are feather-light. I only started to feel pain near the end of five hours, and was mostly in a transcendent state the rest of the time. Truly an amazing, one of a kind experience. Not everyone will be lucky enough to have Thai with her later, but I highly recommend trusting your tattoo to her.

It’s become a bit of a ritual that whenever I come up to Whistler I get a tattoo. My last three have been done by Ryan, and he’s been fantastic to work with. I recently worked with him to get a space themed half sleeve done. I sent Ryan an email with my vision, some references, and some random thoughts, and he immediately got back to me, excited to take it on. He sent me some roughs within a couple of days, and before I knew it I was in the chair for some sessions. He filled in any creative gaps I had and I never doubted them. The final product was exactly what I wanted, and then some. Having just finished the touch ups on it, I’m already thinking about my next ones, and can’t wait to hit Ryan up again to work on them.

As a tourist from the other side of the Atlantic, it was never going to be simple getting an appointment and a piece sorted in advance. Unfortunately there were too many factors against a positive outcome and my initial plans were scuppered slightly. The communication with the guys through social media and email was unbelievable however, and gave me absolute confidence in them as a business. After arriving in town and visiting the shop to thank them for their persistence in trying to resolve my issues, my opinion was only further bolstered. A couple of days later and after a bit of a rethink, I revisited. A good chat with Kelsey had me booked in for a day before I was due to return home - perfect timing on a Saturday afternoon; no small thing on its own! Ryan was recommended as the most suitable artist for the piece I had planned. They got it bang on! Come appointment day I had a good chat with Ryan, who completely understood what I was after and what I was about. The design was nailed right in front of me. The work itself is bright and sharp, and was completed quickly (but not too quickly) and comfortably. I would recommended to anyone in the area considering their first or fiftieth tattoo to go and have a chat. Bloody good show guys ????????

RYAN IS A ROCK STAR!!!! I started my day planning to get 2 tattoos done at another tattoo studio. They told me one was too complicated and they wouldn't do it. The other they did only an outline and not what I wanted. When I got out I phoned Whistler Tattoo and spoke with Ryan who said what I was looking for was no problem. Got a tattoo done here about a week ago and I love it! Ryan was awesome and explained everything to me clearly and gave me lots of good tips, as this is my first tattoo. Definitely would return for another tattoo in the future!

This is the second tattoo that I have had done. Comparatively this was a far better experience. It was an impromptu decision to go, with three of my girlfriends and Kelsey stayed open late so we could all get the work done that we wanted. She helped us develop our tattoos and at no point were we made to feel rushed with our choices or the positioning of our pieces. She allowed us to play any music we wanted, offered her artistic opinion on the pieces we had done, and overall engaged with us on a level that made it feel like we were all just girlfriends hanging out. I would highly recommend both Kelsey and her shop as the place to have tattoo work done in Whistler.

Wow! Kelsey and Aubrey at Whistler Tattoo Co. were simply amazing. I have never been to a shop that is so quick to not only get you in (and work around your busy adventure schedule), but to have your custom designs done, as well. My husband and I went in for "simple" designs initially, but as soon as I saw their portfolios I went for an extremely intricate tattoo that I've been wanting for a long time. Needless to say, Kelsey nailed it. So much so, she should have dropped the tattoo gun like a mic when done, but I get it, those are expensive. Aubrey nailed my husband's, as well, and we will definitely be back. Fantastic artists with great attitudes, you really can't go wrong. And I'm picky!

Amazing place! I got two small tattoos done by Aubery. She was great with going over the pros and cons of colours dues to the fact I was getting finger tattoos. She was easygoing and knowledgeable and was able to answer any and all of my questions. 3 ???????????????????????? up!!
