Not to mention she spent a good amount of time checking and double-checking for symmetry on my ears. Only been there once, but I got the impression that Nicole and the rest of the staff really take pride in doing their jobs right. Definitely going back for any future piercings or tattoos.

i went to Jessie for all three of my cartilage piercings, i had to take them out for a procedure i was having. i went back to have the earrings put back in, and she had difficulty with one of my ears, after struggling, she re-pierced my ear with the back of the earring, in a different spot in my ear!! i went home, my ear was bleeding. i took the jewley out, and easily put another earring in to the correct hole. that expirence scarred my opinion on taunton tattoos and jessie.

So I've been pierced by Jesse 3 times now. And honestly, I will never go anywhere else. I went somewhere else to get pierced, but quickly realized that they weren't doing everything Jesse does for you and got up an left. By far the best piercing experience, not only professional and CLEAN. But Jesse has truly the most welcoming energy. Can't wait to get something new.

Delaney is a living legend! Got my first ever tattoo done here, not only did it turn out absolutely beautiful but the artist was amazing. I had Delaney do my Rib tattoo and she was literally the best artist I could ask for. She was patient, kind, hard working and honestly blew me away! I met Jesse Darling for the first time in June 2019 and I've had 5 piercings since!! She's quick and efficient and swears like a trucker which seems weird against her pink, girly room but yet it works! This is a terrible place, I went to get my belly pierced 6 months ago by this time it’s supposed to be healed, my belly was so infected by Jessie pricing my belly, I had to go see my doctor it was so bad !!!!! I called in and was told it’s my body” rejecting “ it, I have pricing and tattoos and have done some myself and they have never turned out like this ! I've been here for a few piercings prior to my latest visit and have always been treated very well. They're a really friendly bunch here. The one person that made my visit top notch though, was Day. The lockdown was about to happen, and I was booked for Saturday. She managed to squeeze me in and worked her butt off to do my tattoos. My sister and I were pierced by Jessie Darling and we are definitely pleased with how our piercings look and feel. I got my forward helix pierced, while my sister got her conch pierced. We both have several other piercings so we were familiar with the process. The Taunton Tattoo Company uses single use needles so I didn't have concerns about the hygiene. Jessie is clearly experienced as it was a fast and near painless process. Out of all my piercings, this one has healed the fastest and I experienced almost no pain (even while recovering). My sister feels the same way about her piercing. Despite going on a busy day and Jessie being somewhat in a rush, she did not compromise quality. The price for piercings is very reasonable (we paid $40 for 2 -- price is normally $45 but I had a coupon) and they did not charge tax. They only accept cash for piercings (they have an ABM at the front of the store). Also, in case you're not looking to get two piercings, you can split the deal with a friend at no additional cost.

He worked with me to turn my idea into an absolutely gorgeous tattoo that I can't stop looking at on my arm!! I visited Taunton Tattoo Company twice during the holiday season, just before and just after Christmas, to have some piercings done by their professional piercer Jessie Darling and I could not be happier with my choice! I chose Jessie and Taunton Tattoo Company after receiving several reccomendations from friends and people I knew who had had great experiences and results. I went in for a septum piercing on the 18th of December (a same day appointment) and a nostril piercing on the 27th (a walk-in appointment.) Both visits were great experiences, though I did feel a tiny bit rushed on my walk-in, which was I think due in part to so many people showing up on their first day of business after Christmas, but it was a small part out of an overall fantastic experience. As this was during COVID19 (but prior to the restrictions of services that went into place early in 2022) a price increase was applied for services under the mask, I was required to wear a mask and only lower my mask to beneath my nose for the actual piercing. Both the over all shop in general and Jessie's area in specific were incredibly clean and well kept, with their cleaning procedures and practices clearly visible. The shop had clear, concise and easy to read sinage with information on the changes they were implementing to do their part for COVID19 prevention as well as what they requested from their clients, including a mask/face covering requirement, plenty of easily accessible hand sanitizer and maintaining capacity control by having people wait in their cars or on benches outside. Jessie was absolutely fantastic and I cannot reccomend her enough, especially for people who like me may have struggled with needlephobia or anxieties in the past. Jessie readily listened to my questions and concerns, explained the steps of the piercing and helped me to feel comfortable and relaxed. She was incredibly respectful and aware of my personal space, letting me know as she moved from step to step and clearly letting me know what she needed from me (holding still, adjusting my head, etc.) The piercings themselves were quick, efficient and painless! Jessie's confidence and expertise in her craft were extremely evident. On top of that Jessie is just an absolute joy to deal with, so friendly, kind, and considerate both during and after the piercings themselves. She was easy to get in contact with and very responsive to follow up queries and concerns. I would highly reccomend Jessie and Taunton Tattoo Company to anyone in Durham Region and beyond looking for a professional, talanted and capable piercer. I couldn't be happier with my piercings or my experience (I hope going back so soon after my initial piercing, my very first besides my ear lobes, shows that!!) and will most definitely return for any future piercings!

I came here to get my tragus pierced. It was the first time I've gotten a piercing since having my ear lobes pierced as a baby. Jesse put me at ease and told me I wouldn't need my friend to hold my hand. She wore gloves and everything was sterilized, she cleaned my ear. She told me to take a deep breath but I felt no pain at all and I couldn't believe how fast she did it, I was saying is that really it? I had no tears in my eyes and didn't flinch or cry. The whole process took less than 5 minutes and she gave me great tips on how to clean the area and how long it would heal and when to come back to change my piercing. I'd definitely recommend her to do your piercings and if I decide to get more piercings this is the place I'll come.

Terrible experience, felt like I was cheated. Trying to address my concerns was futile. So-called "manager" just kept repeating the same thing over and over, which didn't make sense the first time she said it. Would never use them again for the additional ink work I have planned. Interacting and attempting to book with Daylyn was an awful experience. She provided the wrong phone number on her page to contact with personal information, and after I pointed this out to her she responded rudely and was hostile and talked down to me the entire conversation despite me being polite and just trying to point out the fact her information was wrong and other clients could have sent their personal information to the wrong number she provided as well. I can't speak for the quality of anyone's tattoos but just the conversation with one of their artists and the booking process was incredibly unprofessional.

Jessie, the main piercer there, is great. I trust them for all piercings more than anyone else, both for myself and when referring friends. I came here to get my dermal piercing removed and Jessie is honestly magic. I've had my dermal piercings for maybe 3-4 years and recently they started rejecting. I had booked an appointment with a Toronto piercer who told me to take the tops off of my dermals and leave them like that (BIG mistake). He took out my one dermal because it had rejected so bad that when he was spinning the top off of it, the whole base spun along with it. He just ended up yanking the whole thing out carelessly. Which, hurt a decent amount. Jessie was friendly, knowledgeable and checked up on me the entire process. There was no top on my last dermal, and it had started scarring and scabbing over. She was patient and had mentioned that it was one of her trickiest dermal removal. THERE WAS NO PAIN! I didn't even realize she had removed it. Honestly, she's so skilled. I have recommended her to all my friends and we all drive from Toronto to Oshawa to come see her for our piercing needs. You are in good hands at Taunton Tattoo company!

Went there over a week ago to get my second and third holes on my ear lobes done. Jessie was not only fast and extremely clean but super accommodating due to this being a spur of a moment decision. She made the whole process seamless. Sat and waited for a consultation for about twenty minutes only to find out afterwards that apparently they're the "only place that won't cover up a tattoo with coloured ink" the guy clearly didn't give two cents or wasn't even motivated to at least try, went to #PhatBuddhaTattoo at Pacific Mall and they covered up the whole thing, the time and money was well worth it. Ps. My tattoo I covered up was literally two inches and in red... However, the staff and other artists were great and Jessie darling is literally a darling and is very comforting.

Once in the shop I met Jesse and we went over my tattoo idea. He's great, friendly, professional and a really great artist. He nailed my tattoo. I wanted something simple, but wanted it to still pop. When Jessie came out, she was ???? focused on my daughter and spoke directly to her for the whole appointment. Great experience! I got my nose pierced by @raddestnico (that's her insta... give her a follow!) and I couldn't be happier. I'd had my nose pierced before at some fancy place downtown but at the end of that I had felt rushed and not well cared for and also like they were trying to take as much money as they could from me. But instead, at TTC, the team didn't rush me at all, was a very good price for the amazing service they offer, and I felt incredibly well cared for. I'm usually a fainter with needles and piercings, but when I mentioned it, they were ready with a sugary drink and a nice little piercing bed to lay down on. Like, high quality customer care. The piercing was done so quickly and so expertly as well. I was also given a personalized care instruction as my first nose piercing hadn't healed up properly. In the end I feel very well-cared for and I am so happy with the piercing, both the experience and the appearance! Great job guys!

a friend of mine has had 3 of her piercings done here. 2 and conch and are crooked. when the piercer was asked about it she gave attitude and told my friend off... I see alot of reviews about simple piercings done but a conch is a cartilage piercing in the ear. if improperly done it will never heal and cauae issues. she also didnt place it where asked. its off center and swollen cosntantly more than it should be.

Earlier this week we brought out oldest daughter to Jessie to get her ears pierced. Jessie was super patient with our very cautious and anxious daughter. We got one ear pierced and daughter was done. The shop was clean and tidy, staff were so friendly and I was checked in and screened quickly. Day is an insanely great artist, and the tattoo she created for me exceeded any expectations I had. She is so nice and made the experience very comfortable; she checked in often to make sure I was doing okay or needed a break. Day even followed up with me later to see how it was healing. I recently heard of this place through a friend and he spoke very highly of Taunton Tattoo Company. First impressions: The shop itself is very lively and full of energy. The receptionist, Maddy, was very friendly and accommodating. Having someone like that as your first point of contact can really make or break your decision to stick with a certain tattoo shop. I quickly spoke to her about my tattoo idea and she quickly suggested I speak with Jesse Owens. Jesse as I took some time to throw ideas around. He spared no time in sharing his insight and professional experience with me. His genuine enthusiasm for my chosen pieces made me feel comfortable with moving forward with him as my artist. Over the following week, we openly communicated about tweaks and specifics about the piece in question. He was flexible but also very informative and suggested against certain ideas that wouldn't translate well to a tattoo, which I greatly appreciated. Day of app: Jesse's enthusiasm was still there. I've dealt with artists who are happy for every tattoo they do, but I can tell he was excited to do the piece we agreed on. He showed me his design and, as it wasn't exactly what I expected, it far exceeded my ideas. I prefer to listen to music as I get tattooed, and he was all for whatever makes me feel comfortable. His pace is that of a very skilled artist; and his creativity is at par if not better. We plowed through a 4 hour piece with ease. The finished piece is honestly beyond what I could of ever expected. If you get the pleasure of working with Jesse O., I suggest allowing him some creative freedoms. You will not be upset with the final product.

My friend and I recently went in to get nose piercings by Jessie. First of all, let me start by saying there was a full waiting room full of people waiting to get pierced, so right there was a sign that it is a good spot. Jessie was super nice, efficient and knowledgeable. We were in and out in less than 5 minutes and the piercing barely hurt! She was also very clean (wearing gloves and using sterile equipment) which, as a nurse, was the first thing I noticed. I waited to write this review until after my piercing healed and I can say it healed super quick with no infection! 10/10 will go back to see Jessie (even though I live an hour away) ❤❤❤

I went in earlier this month and was impressed with how clean and professional this establishment is. Staff is very friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. I wanted to get my nose pierced and had the pleasure of having Nicole pierce my nose. She displayed exceptional customer care and made me feel comfortable and did it so fast that it made the experience quick and painless! I accidentally took off my glasses in an awkward position and it yanked my nose ring out yesterday and called them this evening and the young lady on the phone was so kind and told me to come on in. The only piercings I haven't gotten from Jessie are my earlobes (Claire's, unfortunately) and I am happy to keep it that way. Jessie is an absolutely perfect piercer. Her friendly, upbeat personality is perfect for keeping you calm and distracted while she gets everything ready. Piercings by her are always perfectly sterile and well-placed. So far, Jessie has pierced a total of 7 holes in my body and every last one has been a fun experience. Over the course of the last 4 years she has successfully pierced my industrial, daith, rook, cartilage, and chest (not half as painful as people think!). Of course, I am not done my piercing collection yet and I will continue going back to Jessie, as well as directing any friends to her when they ask me where they should go. 10/10 would highly recommend Jessie for piercings. The studio itself is very clean and inviting as well!

This review isn't a reflection of the tattoo shop but a review of the artist Kevin Newman. Both my wife and I started tattoo sleeves over 2 years ago with Kevin and he's moved from shop to shop and won't book us in anywhere to finish projects he's started. Just be cautious when using Kevin he started projects and doesn't finish them. The tattoo shop itself is unprofessional for not returning any emails sent trying to book with Kevin Newman over the last 6 months. Kevin Newman himself is a wonderful and talented artist but both myself and my wife have invested over $4000 each in our uncompleted sleeves and it's very challenging to find another artist that will work on someone else's work. So use this information when making a choice. If you book with Kevin don't book anything that he can't commit to finishing that day. We've followed Kevin from asylum to no love lost to motor city and now to taunton tattoo shop.

BEWARE OF WALK-IN SUNDAYS: I got botched tattoos from these guys! They simply try to rush as many people as they can on Sunday to make the most money, meanwhile they're rushing the design and actual tattooing process. Overly disappointed in this shop. Booked an appointed to have my 5 years olds ears pierced. Showed up in the middle of a snow storm and was instructed to fill out a form Outside in the cold. Was also told my year old would have to initial every point on the waiver. There was about 15 initials required. Since my daughter was freezing and 5 there was no way she would be able to sign 15 times. So I did for her as her parent. They refused to accept this. What a waste of time. Poor customer service all around. I will never be going back.

Terrible customer service!!! My sister went in for her first piercing today, and she simply asked “Are you going to count to 3?” Jessie’s response was “I’m going to do it my way, I don’t care”. After explaining how nervous she was to get her piercing...we got kicked out. Not only did they loose our business, but they ended up loosing 2 more clients because of their harsh behaviours.
