Booked in for a septum piercing with Schantarra and let me tell you, she is the best ever! Seriously, the appointment was started on time and she greeted me with enthusiasm for my new piercing and helped me pick out the jewelry that would best fit what I wanted. When we went into the appointment room everything was clean and all instruments used were sealed and I was able to see her opening them and knew they were only being used for my piercing. She explained everything that she was doing before she did it and again when she was doing it, she was able to place my piercing in the perfect spot and with minimal discomfort to me! 12/10 would recommend coming down to see her for all your piercing needs!! Thanks again for taking such good care of me!

I've had great experiences at Human Kanvas for pretty much everything I've stopped in for - great customer service, staff answered questions re: piercings, aftercare etc. My BEST experience was just a couple of weeks ago with Rebecca Rouge*. When I met her for a consultation a couple months ago she was very enthusiastic and realistic about what could be inked on my skin. I think a lot of artists do not send out their work in advance so that was not uncommon when she confirmed that. The day of I was over the moon because she literally designed what I was looking for. So seeing the design on the day of was perfect; nothing needed adjusting she just had to play around with where she wanted to place it. But since she had pictures of my arm ahead of time (from the consultation) she seemed to already know where she wanted to place it, and as she's the artist I had confidence that she knew what would look right (she is meticulous, and would turn my arm different ways to ensure it moved/fell the right way, if that makes sense). She was extremely professional, very honest and upfront and I'm very happy with my experience there. My husband was so impressed that he actually hopes she opens her books again soon so he can get a consultation in with her as well. Thanks Rebecca! :)

Super Clean and cool looking place. Staff was very inviting and informative. They Do tattoos and piercings there and it's easy to find what your looking for. It's across from Sunrdge mall in a mini mall area. Good prices, and very professional. They have a vending machine there for snacks, and a seating area.

Not so sure what the older reviews about bad pricing are, but I guess each has a different idea what is reasonable price and what is not... I got my first tattoo here and the overall total was $150 for mine, and found it a lot more affordable than I had expected. I have online searched other studios before and many were at least $160. After the visit, I got the impression that this studio is great if what you want is kind of abstract(?), or if you have no set/definite imagery and are willing to let your artist take a bit of lead. But then if you want a tattoo in the style and drawing of EXACTLY what you want, I guess paying $160-200 at another studio is an option too as long as the artist can do full 100% what you want. I found the FAQ page of the site helpful and informative. The studio had a nice vibe and was bright, as well as clean. Broke some of the negative stigmas for me. Also the staff/artists were friendly. I am just giving 4 stars for now because I still don't know so much about tattoos and have yet to know more about it. But I will definitely consider coming back here once/if I am ready for another tattoo.

I took myself and my daughter with my niece to get our noses pierced yesterday. We had the pleasure of Schantarra being our piercer! This lady is a rockstar!!! She is accommodating, and patient. My child was very nervous and I honestly felt she’d have waited as long as she had to for her to be comfortable. Beyond that she is VERY cleanly! Came in for a walk in in June for a simple crescent moon with my sister. The artist, Dani, was very kind but the tattoo is far from perfect. Very bumpy and uneven. I followed her recommended aftercare steps perfectly, which I found to be quite ridiculous (keeping the bandage on for 7 days and then moisturizing afterwards), but the colour has already faded.

I love Human Kanvas! I first got my triple forward helix in July 2015, and then I had to take them out to play rugby in 2017, and the middle one grew over. No problem for Human Kanvas! My piercer re did the middle one after rugby season was over and changed all of the jewellery to be bigger and with hot pink stones (my favourite)! I went back today (April 2019) because a couple of the pink stones had faded in colour. Tiffany was very kind, and right that moment changed out the faded gems to the exact same hot pink ones I love. I’m so happy! Their new facility is so big and bright and clean! Just looking at their beautiful jewellery in the display case makes me want more piercings. Thanks again! I highly recommend Human Kanvas for piercings. (The photo attached is when I got the middle one re pierced and new rings put in, July 2017)

I just got my first professional tattoo done at this location by Danica and was beyond ecstatic with the results. Not only was she super bubbly and cheerful and just had an overall welcoming vibe to her; she was so gentle; and did such a wicked job on such a beautiful piece. I will definitely be coming back in the future! Edit*** This location deserves more than 5 stars. Since I last made a review; I had gotten my first tattoo. Danica has given me many more since; along with Tina. But I went in today to get 2 nose piercings. A septum and regular nostril. Tiffany was incredible. I actually fainted multiple times and she still was awesome. Game me a sugar tablet and water and let me chill and had the most calm demeanour. I cannot recommend Human Kanvas Airdrie enough. If you decide to get a tattoo or piercing, let this be the first place you come to.

Prices are high compared to other stores. Biggest compliment is their alleged new policy (At least that was the excuse the person gave us) where you can't watch someone get a piercing. Half the fun and a big comfort is having someone there with you but they won't even let 1 person in the room if they aren't "feeling it" on the day. If you want to have a better experience and actually have someone in the room with you go somewhere else.

I had a wonderful time here! I had an appointment with JF. Showed him some pictures and he drew something up for my appointment. It was the most cutest thing in the world! You could really tell he took pride in his work. Once he finished tattooing, you would be amazed at all the detail! Solid line work as well! The shading was the most amazing thing I had ever witnessed. To be honest, I was afraid at first, but once seeing what he drew up, just... words can't explain! Not to mention, he worked fast! Walked in at 11, walked out a little before 12. That included doing the paperwork, his prepping time, etc. Very efficient! 10/10 would recommend!

Alright so I’m hugely grateful for my experience here! I had been planning a finger tattoo for around 4 years, something to oppose the ink on my other hand. Understandably, the receptionist was a little hesitant about what I was getting and where I wanted it, as the symbolism is sort of extreme too. However after a good conversation she understood that I am indeed of sound mind, and so she fetched the artist to have a second consultation. He gave me all the information I needed, and helped me reach a fantastic decision/result. I definitely wasn’t expecting such impressive results from a simple walk-in. My daughter booked an appointment to get her cartilage/ear pierced the day before and the Appointment was at 4pm today. We showed up at 3:50 filled the waivers and waited there to get called , 30 minutes later An employee came out and it seemed like we had a miscommunication. The next day management called us to apologize and sort the the issue out. The manager herself was very polite and professional to deal with, and she went above and beyond to resolve our issue, leaving my daughter with a big smile!

I brought my 3.5 year old daughter to get her ears pierced by Brooke, and the whole experience was just fantastic! Brooke was very knowledgeable and friendly. She really knew how to deal with young children and made my daughter feel at ease about the whole process. Even though my daughter was a little too excited when we were there and it took a while for her to calm down, Brooke was so patient. I was a little trepidatious about my daughter feeling pain with needles but Brooke made it so easy, she didn't even shed a tear. I say for anyone questioning where to get your daughter's ears pierced, no question about it...go see a professional piercer, and to add to that point, go see Brooke! The establishment was very clean and organized, and staff was friendly and accommodating. Being there is inspiring me to get another tattoo, and for sure I will come back to Human Kanvas for the wonderful customer service!

Recently I was there to see Jay and getting my sleeve done with my favorite horror movie characters and he was absolutely fantastic. He also over the years did my other arm sleeve and I have nothing but respect of him. After 4.5 hours he suggested that we stop cause he had already done a lot of work but he was also ok if I wanted to continue. I told him we can be done now and finish it at a later date which we already have booked for a couple of weeks from now and I can’t wait for it to be finished. An amazing artist and I would suggest to anyone looking to get some art on their body to go and see him. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Also the place is always clean and all the other artists are very good from what I’ve seen them do

about three years ago I had my helix done here which got infected and the woman who pierced it was obviously was on some type of substance , but I was to young to ask for another piercer . The piercing got infected two days after I got it and took more than a year to heal and get completely clean , eventually I just took it out and I got it repeirced . All I have to say is that I will NOT be coming back to get any piercings or tattoos done .

I saw both Tiff to have jewelry put in some old piercings and Danica for a tattoo. Tiff was great and was able to get all my jewelry placed as I wanted despite needing some stretching in a couple spots. Danica did a wonderful job on my tattoo and I'm super happy with how it healed up!! The whole shop was super careful, clean and Covid aware.

Firstly I been meaning to do this review for a while now but been busy X). But anyway for my first tattoo experience back in January super amazing it was. Brandi was very quick to respond to my email and Joy killed it on both tattooing and modifying my original design. And to me i am bit shocked to see of other review on here ,its like am I visiting the same place or are people getting tattoos in a pocket dimension? Cause really i had no problem whatsoever. Like Brandi and Joy both like my original design ( yes you can show original designs to them) and they keep true to it just adding minor details and suggestions ex shading around the wings of my tattoo. (it made it even better). 2nd staff being rude? Um what? Completely disagree like they friendly they made me felt calm, cause tattoo virgin here. Also any jokes or quarks that do, don't take offence there trying to lighten the mood there, hell make a few jokes as well and its smooth sailing which coincides with 3rd major disagreement. Policy sucks , um no for a lot of reasons, one tattoos are expensive pieces of art and artiest do take great pride in their work and want to be paid for it, like paying a NON REFUNDABLE deposit is a good idea cause it makes it contract so you are less likely to bounce out, and also they are getting some money cause really asking for them spend time drawing up a design which can take hours mind you and people asking for a design without some sort of compensation is like asking a person at Mcdonald's for a cheeseburger but asking it for nothing. Keep in mind of that, there humans too, Not Robots that are slaves to do you biding, they have families, need food and water and all the essentials. Also reading all the way through the terms and conditions will make you're like super easier and so you cannot be upset when something goes a bit tipsy. Anyway enough about me ranting, all in all outstand job, will be returning soon for my next tattoo oohrah!

First off the shop is really neat and tidy. The staff were all friendly. My tattoo artist was named Katie. These two tattoos are my first ones. So I had no idea what to expect. She was also prepared for the appointment. It was one session to get it all done. I sent two sketches in advance to Katie and then reviewed the artwork she produced the day of the appointment. These two tattoos have a lot of meaning for me so it was important to get it right. Katie did an amazing job transferring the concept to the reality. There was no rush and she was easy to talk to during it. I'm 100% pleased with the results. The 5 day removal of the second skin cover and all is well with the work. I will be booking with Katie again down the road for sure. Great job Katie of making my first time a positive and awesome experience.

Inquired about a piercing & was given incorrect information. My ears react to literally everything, aside from gold (I’ve tried SSS, titanium, silver.) So I asked if they carried gold earrings. I was falsely told gold has nickel in it. When in fact, 24k is 99.9% gold. I will be going elsewhere. Edit to review. (Reply to owner). As mentioned above, I have tried everything & gold is the only thing my ears do not react to.(My grandmother is the same) Interesting that you copy & pasted the information on gold in new piercings. Shouldn’t this be something you’re already educated on? 24K was never advised to me. I used it as an example because I was informed by your staff that all gold contains nickel. Whomever I spoke to said you do NOT carry ANY gold piercings. More incorrect information I guess? I won’t be reconsidering.

Me and my boyfriend won't be back. He has a beautiful sleeve done from this shop, but after my consult, neither of us will be back for any work. For background, I am not heavily tattooed, I have 4 small/medium sized tattoos on my feet, ankles and forearm. Despite that, I've been wanting to get my fingers tattooed for about 5 years. I've done all of my research, I understand the risks, the pain and the fact that ink doesn't much like fingers. I've taken all of this into consideration and sat on the idea for literal years. After having this shop recommended by my boyfriend, I booked a consult and the receptionist set me up with a specific artist she told me was the best fit. I showed up and was immediately told that I am not heavily tattooed enough to have my fingers tattooed. He didn't really have any questions about what I wanted or why or how long I've wanted it, but actually offered to do them if I got a sleeve from him first. I feel like my time was wasted and I definitely left second guessing myself. If being heavily tattooed is a prerequisite for finger tattoos, that question could've easily been asked over the phone. I left after being there only a couple of minutes feeling embarrassed and I wouldn't recommend that customer service experience to anyone. I know the work is awesome, but that experience for me was a huge waste of time and super embarrassing.

I have nothing but good things to say about Human Kanvas in Airdrie! I’ve been going here for a year and have had the privilege of working with Tiff, Danica and Maxine. I hope to work with more of their artists, as I’m sure they’re all great. But as of right now, my HK obsession is all because of the three people listed above. Tiff is an incredible piercer. She is patient, communicative, understanding and visibly passionate about her job. She has created such beautiful work on my ears, I wish I had a third one just for her to poke! So far, I have gotten 10 piercings from her. I cannot wait for my next ones! As for Danica and Maxine, they are just as wonderful. They go above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable, assured and ready for the rockin’ ink that they’re going to give you. For such busy people, I am always blown away by how patient and calm they are. They always ensure that my questions are answered, that my tattoo and placement are what I want, and that I am good to go. I will be booking in with them again! If you’re looking for piercings and/or tattoos, I strongly recommend Human Kanvas in Airdrie. I promise you won’t regret it :)

I got my first tattoo at Human Kanvas in Airdrie in August 2020. I just want to start by saying I absolutely love my tattoo and the artist did a great job in giving me what I wanted! The studio was clean and reception was friendly! I talked to the artist a month prior about exactly what I wanted (size, image, style, etc). I specifically reached out to them based on hearing good things from people I know, and also liking their style. Once I saw the design (on the day of the tattoo) I was really happy, it was just a little bigger then I wanted. I asked them to make the design smaller and they seemed annoyed. The artist working beside them proceeded to tell me “I should really listen to my artist” and made me feel pressured to get a size I didn’t want when we had agreed on something else. My artist had no response when the one working beside them proceeded to pressure me into going bigger. Once they had got the size right they started the tattoo process. They knew it was my first tattoo and that I was extremely nervous, but made no effort into making me feel comfortable. They didn’t say one word to me throughout the process, didn’t explain what was going on, just started tattooing. I wasn’t going to say anything until I since have had other tattoo experiences that have focussed on making the client feel comfortable and safe. Getting a tattoo puts you in a very vulnerable position and there is definitely a power dynamic between the artist and client. I felt belittled as someone who wanted a smaller tattoo. And as someone with severe anxiety my experience here was not anxiety friendly. I don’t want to say the artists name because It could have just been a “bad day”, as I have heard great things about them and their work is beautiful. My suggestion is to work on bedside manner and making your studio feel like a comfortable place for everybody.

But not only that, the environment of HK is so welcoming especially for a young (nervous) person like myself, everyone is so sweet and patient. A definite 5/5! I had to get a cover up done. Jon Moretta did a fantastic job! All it took is one sitting and I didn't need to show up for another appointment. My pain threshold isn't great but Jon did his best to make it comfortable as possible. He created the artwork I wanted and the results far exceeded my expectations. I’ve had some good experiences here and some bad - wouldn’t recommend it but the staff is really nice and do try to correct any issues. I’d say my luck with this is all very one off. Would change the review higher had the staff called me back when they said they would (this has happened multiple times in the last year) and I’m the one constantly following up with them even when they say they will ring me back to provide the requested information. I highly recommend Tiff for all your piercing needs! It was absolutely worth the three hour drive to get pierced by her!! She was patient, kind, understanding and most of all super knowledgeable and didn’t hesitate to answer any/all of my questions. I had my septum pierced by Tiff and had an amazing experience. I was pretty nervous and babbling the most amount of nonsense imaginable and she was just so kind and really made me feel very relaxed and safe. The piercing process went super smoothly and the selection of jewellery was amazing! I also observed Tiff speaking with other customers while waiting for my friend and she was incredibly helpful, kind and professional to everyone. Based on my experience with Tiff at this studio, I'll definitely be returning to work with one of their many amazing tattoo artists in the (hopefully) near future. Brady charged me for a deposite, I gave him pictures of a certain flower to make a design for me and I booked an appointment with him. He just sent me a sketch of a completely different flower. I told him that I didn't ask for this, so he canceled my appointment and told me that he will fix his mistake soon. I followed up a few times last few months, but he never gave me an answer. And when I ask for a reimbursement of my deposite, he just told me that when he canceled my appointment I didn't re-book another one. Bad customer service, bad design, bad attitude. I don't recommend this place at all.

Firstly I forgot who I sat down with. Went for a tattoo consult in person and said what I was looking to get done. I got convinced to do something different which is fine but it was all verbal with no pictures. I like pictures for a visual. I was pushed to book an appt and to put down a deposit. I hadn't even seen any pictures of what we were going to tattoo so how could I put down a deposit yet alone book an appt without knowing what I was getting done. I felt like I was being pushed for money and didn't like it. I won't be booking there for tattoo. On positive note, very clean and sterile.

Artist without Integrity - reuses artwork!!!!! My daughter went in with her original skeleton drawing artwork to see if it could be done. Rebecca said yes and no, she would have to make it bigger so it would look good. Rebecca then redid my drawing by making it bigger and changed the jaw bone. My daughter then proceeded to have the tattoo done with her own design ideas of how she wanted it to look when completed (stippling). When it was done she was happy with it. Now 6 months later Rebecca posts on her Instagram my daughters tattoo that she has done on someone else, the only changes are an added flower in the skeletons hand and a veil on the skull. Everything else is the same from the black and white stippling to the posture. When she questioned her on Instagram she deleted her comments, wouldn't even discuss it. That is pretty jank to reuse artwork no matter if she sees it as hers or not, this clearly was not hers as it was my daughters drawing that she took in. My daughter has had 5 tattoos done here and my son has had 3 here. Needless to say they won't be back and we will do everything to dissuade others. The facts speak for themselves.

I had booked an appointment 3 weeks ago for a consultation after being recommended by a friend. 30 mins before the appointment he replies that he doesn't have time for us for 3 months. Clearly doesn't care about customers. He was not even interested in talking to us when we did go for the consult. I guess I've to take my business somewhere else. But the receptionist was really nice and apologetic about Devon's poor customer service. I'm sure there are other really good artists here, but I would avoid Devon.

Really happy with my experience here. For starters, they had pricing(!!) and information on the website, which a lot of places lack. Easy to book an appointment online. I got a nostril piercing opposite side of my existing one, and Kaily was excellent with making sure that the new one was *exactly* symmetrical with my old one. I had a couple questions about other piercings and she was super knowledgeable. Clean place, really tidy little shop, nice staff, would totally recommend to a friend.

I had finally gotten my free tattoo touch up within 5 months of tattoo with Jay Skelly and it was booked for March 21st 2020, and than come March 20th, 2020 I get a call from their receptionist saying that they have to cancel due to them only being able to do a limited amount of clients because of COVID-19. So I said ok that's understandable it's a pandemic, what can you do? So she than asked if I want to come in for April 11th 2020, and I said yes of course, that sounds good. This is where it got all screwed up, it was April 11th and I got no call about my appointment and checked their website and seen that it said it was open so I went to their location and it was closed, so I DM'd jay skelly and asked him about it on Instagram and he said in a friendly manner he was very busy and couldn't get to me and me knowing that he's a great tattoo artist I was said ok that's no problem, I also DM'd the human kanvas Instagram and this is what I get from the OWNER of the company and yes I KNOW that theres a global pandemic going on right now. She claimed I missed 2 tattoo appointments even though im sure they would call and ask where I am or something and than not book me again, but they didn't because that didn't happen. She was being rude straight from the start of the conversation and according to her she was being 'real' but clearly she was just being rude. She should definitely take a customer service course. I don't know if she was acting like this because of personal things or because shes on mat leave. but regardless its extremely unprofessional. Hopefully she doesn't treat her kids/husband like that. I also have added Jay Skelly's and I's conversation, the owner should really take some tips from him. As he immediately apologizes, even though it should be the company apologizing not him.

I took my 2 month old little girl for her ear piercings and it was amazing. As a new mom I was a little nervous but with research I decided piercing her ears after her 2 month shots and before she had the dexterity to know something had changed would be best for our family. I contacted the store and they explained the whole process and we booked an appointment. They were awesome and even offered some numbing cream for her ears prior to the appointment. Ryen and the lady at the front desk were absolutely awesome; they distracted my little one and eased my mind as they are both moms. The experience was fantastic and quick, I was able to nurse right after to calm my baby. No problem after, it healed beautifully and looks adorable. Thank you!

I had a tattoo done last year by one of their artists for halloween. My tattoo lines began to become bumpy about 6 months ago so i messaged them to just give them a heads up and they told me to consult a doctor. Now almost a year later, some bumps are appearing on my tattoo and when they pop, it’s black liquid. almost like the ink diddnt set properly or something. i have many tattoos and this has never happened. it’s a shame because they’re so nice and it’s a cool tattoo. can’t say i will be back.

Purchased a gift certificate for an hour of service (max value $150) now being told these expire even though the law in Alberta prohibits gift cards or certificates from expiring. Brandi tried to come up with every excuse she could to not honor the certificate, even claiming it was a free item I recieved. I used to recommend this shop, but no longer do. If you are not willing to follow the law, you don't deserve anyone's business. Use caution if you're buying gift cards or certificates from them. Will be filing a consumer rights complaint against this company.

so i called there to make an appt and let them know i lived 2 hrs away and they were so polite and helpful..i got there and shop was spotless and calming and i was instantly relaxed.it was my 5th time in 10 yrs getting tongue pierced as i had to keep removing it due to surgeries..and so anyways..Rachel was my piercer..she was friggin awesome to say the least.she chatted with me in a nice calming voice and i swear ive never been there b4 or know anyone and so what i say cones from the heart..she was so good that i didnt even feel it and i told her that.it didnt take long yet she took her time to be sure it would be in just the right spot..no bleeding at all..which usually happens lol.and best of all is she thanked me for coming that far and choosing her instead of just a simple thx.i can't wait 2 go back to change ring in couple weeks and maybe some ink and new piercing.so so many positive things i could say.she is pretty and smart snd when i left i swear i still didnt hurt and still dont indeed.swelling is minimal and best experience getting tongue done ever..she rocks.thx again Rachel.????????

I had an ear piercing done here with two friends, and this shop is clean, professional and the people are so nice. Word of caution - be sure you understand the pricing structure. Every component of jewellery is priced individually, and for earrings there is a charge for each front stone/design plus a separate charge for each post. Clean shop, great people and Brooke is fantastic at her work! I would get a piercing from her again.

I had such a great experience. I went in to get my plugs removed after many failed attempts by myself and friends and family. The piercer working with me tried several times with no luck. I finally blurted out “just cut them” and she went to get bolt cutters. She asked again to make sure I was okay with it and I was. So glad I got them out and got something new and easy to remove. I also treated myself to a new piercing (Medusa) for all I had to go through, obviously just an excuse. I wanted one anyway ???? the piercing was quickly done and healed so well. The piercer also gave me a gift card for another piercing to use at a later date for, as she said, “trusting her with bolt cutters so close to my war” I’ll definitely go back and I’ll definitely recommend this place to others.

My overall experience here was unfortunate. The shop was clean, the piercer was friendly and knowledgeable too, but I went in for my first attempt at my appointment and had it rescheduled due to a miscommunication for what I wanted. That was fine because the artist offered a discount, but I asked for a soft dainty Haku styled dragon and got a Shenron styled dragon. I needed minor touch ups too but never want to return here again.

I am not one to write reviews but Iam really frusterated with this place. After this being my main peiercing place for 2 years I definitely won’t be coming back again. I think this place has an issue with discussing the charge before providing you with the service as mentioned in other reviews. This place is not what it used to be as the old piercer would always help me fix my jewelry and piercings for free which is why I was so loyal to the place and kept coming back. This is the second time the new piercer Tiff has completed a service for me without letting me know beforehand what shes even doing when I just asked for the piercing to be checked. Just overall bad vibes definitely won’t be back here again theres too many places to go where you don’t have to deal with attitude and bare minimum customer service and jacked prices. Really disappointing honestly.

Tina was incredible to work with, she did an excellent job getting through my rambling thoughts to design a tattoo that perfectly captured what I was going for. I was definitely anxious about the actual tattoo process as well, with this being my first, but again Tina did a great job of making sure I was comfortable and having a great experience. Two thumbs up! Received professional, caring service. Had my 6 month old daughter's ears pierced by Sal at the Calgary location. It was clear that Sal puts care into his work from taking the time to mark the right spots to pierce, to talking to baby to help her feel comfortable. When her earring fell out afterwards, I called at closing though Brandi opened her Airdrie location to ensure her earring could get put back in ASAP as her Peircing was fresh. This shows the high level of care. I read an old review before that mentioned that they were 'all about the money' but I feel that is far from the truth. The cost alone to have a top quality needle Peircing with the exact same jewelry was significantly lower priced than the other studio I was considering. When I mentioned that, they said they keep their baby Peircing prices low so that parents don't take them to the mall and get them down with guns as those are not the best option. Again, this shows high level of care and concern for their clients.

Earlier I left a rather scalding review under the name "You cannot stop God." However this review was penned in jest whilst engaging in cheerful banter with the staff of the parlour, it was part of a joke that we were all in on, and the post was intended to be immediately deleted. However, it seems that due to some bizzare technical difficulties I am unable to remove my rather unfortunate epithets. In truth I was very well treated during my visit to human kanvas and have nothing but positive anecdotes concerning the staff and the work of the artists. I apologize for any confusion I may have caused, and encourage anyone desireing a tattoo in the Calgary area to strongly consider having work done at this budding diamond-in-the-rough establishment, I cannot speak higher of it.

went in for Walk in Weekend at the new Airdrie location, the shop its self is amazingly done & so clean / organized & the sections for each artist is a good idea. Got in for the afternoon with the artist ( Devon ) for a neck piece I’ve been wanting for a year now, he was great -from the moment I met him he made sure I was comfortable, always was checking on me, easy to talk with & was very light handed while tattooing - which my neck appreciated haha. He always explained things prior to doing them to make sure I was ok. Devon made the whole experience at Human Kanvas amazing I will be back for all my neck tattoo’s with him in the future!
