Dog House Ink Custom Tattoos and Body Piercing is in my opinion the only place to go in Pembroke,Ontario for a superior quality tattoo as well and piercings.The shop is always clean and friendly .I don't let anyone else touch my skin and will wait patiently for an opening because they are worth it....Go and see you you won't regret your choice

I have gotten two piercings there an industrial (barbell) and more recently a nose piercing and both times (over a year apart) they have been clean, friendly and safe. They take your questions seriously and are super patient and nice. And you being comfortable and happy with your piercing is something that they constantly make sure of. Couldn’t recommend more as even their prices are fair for the service. You can call them anytime with questions during the healing process. Great place to get pierced 10/10 really.

After being publicly humiliated on their Facebook page as an example of "don't be like this person" I'll never recommend this business again. To be treated this way as a Veteran by a business that has often claimed to be pro Veteran was surprising, the fact that I had personally sat for minimum of 20 hours prior to this incident made it doubly so, all over a simple mistake that should have been handled like a professional. No attitude and No BS? I think not. I'd give it zero stars if I could. I'm already researching cover-up artists just to get the memory of this whole experience from my mind AND body.

I got my second lobe piercing here back in January. I knew when I got it done that something wasn't right, because one side hurt significantly more than the other, and bled much more as well. The piercer brushed it off and said that was normal, so I ignored it. It hasn't healed yet (it's still open and leaking) and it's now October. I followed all their instructions to the letter, which included cleaning it several times daily, moving the earring around occasionally, and even giving up swimming for a while until it healed to avoid getting it dirty. I called to ask about it since the piercer had said that if I had issues, I could call back, but I couldn't get a hold of him. Updating this, it has now been over a year since the piercing. The piercings still weren't healed and I took the earrings out. I am going to let them grow over. The earrings I had in were stainless steel (given to me by Dog House) for the first eight months or so, and then the quality gold earrings I've been wearing in my other lobe piercings for upwards of five years with no issues, so that was not the problem. This was the worst 60$ I have ever spent, and I would not recommend going here unless you want poor service, a health hazard, and long lasting pain with no results. If the piercer had listened in the first place when I said something was wrong, or if I had been able to get a hold of Dog House in the first six months, when I tried several times, maybe I would have been able to save the piercings. I will get them redone sometime somewhere that isn't the two-bit tattoo shop that happens to be the only place in Pembroke that does piercings. It's worth the wait to get it done somewhere else.

I had a really great experience with Dog House Tattoos. I went to Pretty in Ink to get my tagus pierced and had a HORRIBLE experience. The back of my earring fell off after two days and she would not meet me to fix the problem, I slept without a back on my piercing for 3 nights. Finally, I was fed up and called Dog House Ink. They got me in with no problem and no wait and gave me a new piece of jewelry. They told me the wrong jewelry had been used to pierce it and that I should always come to them in the future, which I will. Extremely professional and courteous and willing to help those who need it from a bad piercing experience! Would recommend to anyone!
