The shop is clean, with exceptional hygienic practices - watching the artist set up made this nurse’s heart happy! The staff are professional and excited to educate you on the design process, the science behind the healing process, the tools they use, tattoo care, and how to get the most out of your sitting. I love being treated like a partner in the process, and learn so much every time I go in. Finally, the artists are incredibly talented. Any time I bring them a design, they somehow manage to take the pictures, pins, and verbose descriptions of what I’m looking for and turn it into something that goes far beyond what I had imagined was possible. They are enthusiastic for any project I have come to them with, large or small, and I have been thrilled with every sitting. If you’re looking to invest in body art of any kind, I cannot recommend the Scare Crew highly enough!

I had gone into all shops in downtown Chilliwack looking to get my first tattoo done.As a single mother I always have my children with me and other shops were not welcoming or family friendly at all.But as soon as I entered Scarecrow Ink I could feel the difference in Atmosphere.The manager and staff were all so helpful and friendly I felt like i was being welcomed into someones home :).Cody sat down with me and took time to custom draw me my piece then when I got Tattooed it was more then i could have ever hoped for.Then My oldest Daughter wanted to get her ears pierced and Jesse was amazing with her explaining everything involved and taking his time to do such a perfect job on her piercings.I will continue to bring all my family and friends here and will not go anywhere else :) :)

My daughter (4.5 years old) just got her ears pierced by Jesse and it was an amazing experience. He treats the kids with respect and as responsible young people! He makes sure that it’s the kids choice and talks to them directly with such patience. My daughter was a bit shy at first, so we stopped in a few times just to say hi so that when she was ready, she’d be comfortable and happy with her decision! When she was finally ready she went in smiling from ear to ear the whole time. He numbs their ears so they don’t feel a thing and explains the process to them! I highly recommend Jesse at Scarecrow Ink!

Went here to get my son's ears pierced, he is only 7 and had been asking for a while. This place was nearby so I took him there. Was a great experience, was very friendly and professional. I am so proud to be wearing this beautiful art on my arm! I can’t think of a better artist to have worked on me (and continue to work on me). Not only is he a ridiculously talented artist, he is also extremely easy to bring ideas to, has a calming presence and is super gentle (as gentle as you can possibly be with a tattoo gun in your hand...lol). The place is clean as a whistle, great playlist for long sittings...an overall pleasant experience. Can’t wait for the next sitting!

My wife and I took our daughter in to have her ears pierced for her birthday & we were truly blown away by the experience from start to finish. They really went above and beyond to make the experience totally about my daughter, which she really appreciated. We went in early, before the shop officially opened, making us the only customers there. He spoke to her directly, ensuring she understood what was happening every step of the way and gave her ample opportunity to back-out if she changed her mind. His experience definitely showed because the actual piercing was perfectly placed and exceptionally quick. Everything was clean, sterile & freshly un-packaged in front of our eyes. The experience was so positive that my wife will be returning for a tattoo of her own in the near future! Don't put your kids in the the hands of unskilled, unclean rando's at the mall with a piercing gun - Come to the experts and get it done right. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! I took my 4 year old daughter in to pierce her ears and Jesse was spectacular. He took the time to engage with her and explain the process. He really made her feel like this experience was truly her own. We came back within a couple days to have the procedure done and I couldn't believe how comfortble she felt. She trusted in him completely and was amazed that she felt no pain! Did not hesitate for a minute to get her other ear pierced. Jesse pierced my 4 and 6 year-old daughters earlobes and his patience, kindness, and kid-friendly demeanour ensured that it was an awesome experience for both of my girls. Jesee's extensive experience in working with kids shone through in his thoughtful approach in terms of preparing the girls of what to expect and in communicating that they were in control of what would happen during the appointment. Jesse took his time and created a wonderful atmosphere that resulted in NO TEARS from either kid! Not only was there no tears, there wasn't even so much as an "ouch" from either one of them! They walked out of the store with big smiles plastered on their faces, ready to show off their new "big girl" earrings to the world. It was clear to me that his methods are tried, tested and true- he knows exactly what he is doing. Thank you *so much* Jesse, for making that such a wonderful experience for my daughters. drove for over an hour, from vancouver to chilliwack, just to have the amazingly talented, supremely gifted Jesse longbear peirce my 8 yr old daughters ears! She was extremely nervous about getting her ears peirced, and wasn't positive she was going to go thru with it.... within minutes Jesse had her at ease and eagerly wanting to get it done right then! He gently explained the process and walked her thru it. We came back a week later and had it done. daughter was extremely happy...as was i. couldnt recommend Jesse enough!

Scarecrow provided an incredible experience. They open the shop early for just myself and my 5 year old daughter to come, put a cartoon on when we came in. It was very clean and covid conscious for health and safety (masks and hand sanitizer). I was encouraged to allow her to dress up for the occasion, my daughter glammed up as a princess. It was explained it would just be a consult, then see if after hearing about the process if she still wanted to do it and it was okay to not do it. I loved the encouraging of her choice. The experience was really positive for my daughter. Not exactly what I wanted and when I called for touch ups on my 2 hour 340 dollar tattoo was told I did not need them based off a picture and not in person over priced for what i got. The tatto it self is nice just not what I personally had in mind.
