This is my experience with Bluewater Tattoo. I had booked an appointment with Kelly and had emailed her about the tattoo design (and deposit). When I got there, Kelly gave me all of maybe 10 mins of her day and said she wouldn't have the time to make the few changes to make it exactly how I wanted and told me I had to reschedule which was weird but I dealt with it (the tattoo will be on me forever) plus I had waited months already, what was another month. I got home and she had posted my design on her Instagram as "an up for grabs". Unfortunately, this was a special tattoo in memory of my grandfather...which was 90% what I wanted (again just a few changes). When I saw this I was heartbroken to know this tattoo I had pictured and trusted her with for someone very special would now be on someone else. I reached out to Kelly to let her know of how upset I was about everything and I never heard back. She took the deposit and never tried to contact me again. I Wouldn't trust her with anything important as she clearly doesn't care. Just wanted to post my experience as from her online presence she promoted positivity, and a safe space which is the exact opposite of which I experienced.

When I told her what I was looking to have done, she completely encompassed all of my ideas as well as style. It was an inviting and fun atmosphere. I felt safe knowing my work was in good hands. Wouldn’t recommend for blackwork, artist was rough and missed a few times out of the line. Line work was clean but needs some practice filling black. I asked for a ‘worn look’ on a piece and it looks like they phoned it and rushed it. Won’t be returning.
