Went to go get some piercings done, and the staff is very professional. Everything looked extremely clean and the whole design of the store was well done. The piercer, was also very professional but also down to earth and made me feel very comfortable. I haven’t gotten a tattoo there yet, so i can’t speak for that. But so far my experience has been overall very positive????

last august a group of friends and i went to get matching tattoos here. less than a year later one of my friends tattoos had almost disappeared and the rest of the group have uneven, inconsistent lines yet all used the same sketch. we went back in to have my one friends tattoo touched up and the artist at first insisted he had never met us before and then told us he couldn’t fix her tattoo because he had just cleaned up... even though the shop closed 2 hours later than we were there. don’t go here and don’t give them your business. the customer service is terrible and they are rude. he should have happily fixed her tattoo as it took 10 minutes to do originally and would have taken even less time to fix. not to mention we all settled for his idea for what the sketch should be because apparently our quaint butterfly was unrealistic, so the artist opted for more of a moth-like shape instead. bottom line: not worth your time or money.

my friends & i got tattoos here last august. We asked for a simple butterfly, what we got was uneven, unsymmetrical, ugly moth looking insect. The lines faded in some places to the point where they look nonexistent and blurred/bled in others, making the tattoo even uglier. And to make matters worse, when one of my friends went in to get hers fixed, they refused. I had to go to a different tattoo parlor and get mine fixed. This place was waste of time, money, and skin. Never go here!

This is a great place for piercings. The staff is very helpful in answering questions and giving you advice on placement, healing, etc. It's fairly important to note that they only sell high-end jewelry (ie, the starting piece varies between $50-70 and goes up to $1500 for some pieces of designer jewelry, handmade by BVLA, I believe). That being said, it's totally worth it if you want things done well, in a clean, safe way. I'd highly recommend them.

Way too pricy (150$ for belly piercing) . I get that it's titanium jewelry but even still, it's way above price and for the same service and competence, you can have something not as expensive. Plus they don't inform you of the jewelry price, only the piercing fees (25$). Not going back, not referring people. As for the Owner's response: Nice copy-paste! I was sure you'd answer something like that. Next time, inform your clients before they pay. Not after the piercing is already in your body. For sure not returning. And not promoting.

They're my place whenever I want a tattoo or a piercing. I've gotten pierced twice and tattooed 3 times there and the artists are always amazing and thoughtful and careful. Very clean place and prices are also good. I wanted to purchase a new nose ring for myself and found this place on Google maps. Decided to pay a visit since it was just around the corner from my work place. I was greeted as soon as we walked in, and a lovely man asked what I was looking for and recommended the right size and the age of my piercing. Thought he was lovely! Sadly, most of the body jewellery on display are high-end and made with more precious metals and stones, and did not factor it into my budget. However, based on customer satisfaction alone, I'd return once I get my finances in check!

I got a cartilage piercing done in October, I got the stud a week before I got the piercing done. The stud was very expensive and fell out a few times. Once it was done they said that they'd give me the spray for the healing process but they never did( I wasn't charged for it either) but it got super infected and never healed properly and it never healed at all actually so I had to take it out in March and now I have an ugly scar in my ear

I walked into this store today, to get some advice on how to remove my 5 years old daughter's earing that was stuck in her ear. I was received by Jake one of the guys at the store and asked him for advice. After a quick initial evaluation, he told us the closing silicon stub of the earring was most likely stuck in my daughter's ear piercing hole (I did not even know that was possible!!). Jake informed us that an incision would be necessary to take the piece out and we had two options, - we could go to the hospital and let the doctors handle it (with the help of anesthetics to numb the ear) - or, he could do it. He made it clear that only if my daughter was willing with him doing the procedure he would proceed as some discomfort is involved as he would not work with anesthetics. Since he was very gentle during the initial evaluation, after minimal convincing my daughter agree to go through with it. We went back, Jake took his time, he was very reassuring and constantly checked in with my daughter of her pain level as he made a tiny incision to take out the earing piece. Within about 2 mins, he was done. It was such a big relief for me as we did not want to to go the hospital for this matter. What was even surprising was that as took out my wallet to pay, he choose not to charge us for it and said it was his pleasure to help out. I did not know of this store or Jake before, so to receive this kindness was quite unexpected. As a mum, to see my daughter feel comfort and have the courage to go through this and receive such care and professionalism is a joy. It reinforces good values in her about the community and work practices. I highly recommend Jake for his professionalism, care for his work and well being of his customers.

We stayed 20-30 minutes deciding how I wanted the tattoo, he even got the beautiful idea to attach the wing of my bird to the word. He was very gentle and made my first experience go smoothly. Best place I’ve been too. Anne the tattooer is amazing, always giving great advice and amping up the ideas I have into something amazing. The guy working front of house was amazing also l, gave me tips and tricks for the best healing process. While I was there waiting to pay some other customers where in the way and he politely asked them to move out of the way so I could pay. For some reason they both flipped out and raged out the store. I ordered a piece of jewelry from them, where they informed me that it would take maximum 2 months to arrive and that they would contact me. You also have to give a down payment to secure your order. 2 months later and no call so i end up calling and they tell me it will be in the next month. I call a month later, they tell me it will be in in 2 weeks. I call in 2 weeks and they tell me it will be in the next week. This goes on until it is 6 MONTHS past the date of purchase. I was in no rush to receive the jewelery so I gave them a chance and was patient. I understand sometimes things happen but this was absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. The people who answered my calls were also very rude. I ended up going and getting a refund. I have also been to this location before to get my gages stretched and they made me wait an HOUR until it was my turn. The piercer literally saw me waiting but went on to talk to one of his clients (unrelated to work things) about his life. I will never be returning to this store.

Today I went in to get piercings re-done. I initially only came in to ask questions, as I was very apprehensive because the first time I got them done (at another piercing parlour) was trash. SO, Alex answered all my questions; he was super calm, extremely patient and confident. Very humble. He dealt with my crazy self (in my defense, it is exam season, so) and did an absolutely AMAZING job. Like I said, he was very patient with me and took his time to answer all my questions, took his time marking, making me feel comfortable etc. and he was very humble and open. I could tell him that I felt the placement etc. needed some adjustment and he would take the time to check it out and see things from my point of view, rather than just trying to make it seem like it's fine because "piercers know best". I had a great experience and wanted to congratulate the establishment for being top notch and clearly having top notch people working there. Thank you so much!!

This studio is great! I went in for a jewelry upgrade on one of my piercings, and Jake installed it for me. He was super down to earth and really nice and honest about everything, and I couldn't be happier!! I had lots of apprehension going in this shop because I had a bad experience with the XS in Terrebonne, but I have to say I was very impressed. Everything was great and everybody was nice. All of their jewelry are high quality, made of implant grade titanium or gold, so of course it's gonna be more expensive than most of the crappy jewelry you find in other shops... But trust me, your body will thank you! :) Definitely gonna go there for my next piercing!!

I visited Montreal a month or so ago and I stopped in at XS to look at their beautiful jewellery. At the time I felt like the different ear piercings I had did not flow well and was not sure how to fix this. At most studios I have visited piercers seem to give advice in terms of what piercings they 'like'. They generally prefer customers to propose a particular piercing and will then comment on whether the customer's ear structure will support it. For the first time I met a piercer - Jake - who was able to suggest a general pattern of piercings that would be flattering FOR ME. He happily drew the markings on my ear even though I was not able to have any new piercings done at the time. I referred to the selfie I took - with the markings on - when I finally got my next piercing in my home city. I am very happy with it and hope to eventually get the others he drew! I think Jake has a wonderful sense of aesthetics and would recommend him for anyone seeking advice.

While 2 months ago I had a greatly positive experience and was amazed by the quality of the overall service, the second visit for a tattoo touch up has greatly disappointed me. Even though I have only positive comments for the artists, the booking system needs more better quality control. I showed up only to be told that the person I spoke to on the phone 3 days prior has not booked the appointment. No apologies, just a "maybe you can wait 30 more minutes" A clerical mistake so easily avoidable clearly contrasts and shadows the overall praise and positive experience I once had.

I went to this place for my first tattoo, which is a simple small tattoo behind my ear. I had good vibes from the artist and person behind the counter. However it has turned out looking terrible and a month into it I have already looked into removal. Furthermore the tattoo artist gave incorrect post-care procedure tips, stating the tattoo would be healed in a week or two when in actuality it take a solid month for full healing, regardless of size.
