So far a good tattoo salon, but seems that you're here just bring them money. When I was there to pay 60$ in advance for booking, I saw the tattoo guy for 1-2 minutes. Then I sent him some ideas via FB, he told me he will do a nice thing, which he did, but he never showed me the drawing before the day I come to do it. So i did not get the chance to tell him what I like or not, I corrected one thing during the process, and I think he did not like it. The price was not give in advance, likely I had enough cash to pay, that is why no tips given. I like my tattoo a lot, but somehow the artist did not put in on his instagram or salon's instagram. Please take your time to discuss EVERYTHING with the tattoer. I hope you will be treated better.

Editing my review. The issue with artist's handling of their scheduling had nothing to do with the studio itself and has since been resolved (thanks to the studio's intervention, I am guessing). Said artist had since moved on so I do not feel leaving my initial review would have been fair. From their side, the studio were nothing but professional and very courteous. I also really enjoyed the dark and intimate decor, with a hint of luxurious. Each artist works in a separate room instead of one big room with no privacy. I would not hesitate to come back if what I was looking for is a match with any of their artists' style.

Well not that bad but then the tattoo artist would tell me he didn't have much time so I felt obligated not to ask him for too many small changes on details that I liked less. He only drew me a rough draft so I couldn't see the final result until I had him tattooed on my skin for life. I even had to show him a photo of what I wanted in detail 30 seconds before he started. I had great faith in myself as a tattoo artist, but the result is beautiful, but that's not what I was looking for. Plus it cost me $ 310 for a very small 40 min tattoo. I'm disappointed with the quality of the tattoo for the price I thought I'd pay dearly for a great tattoo but it's just pretty :( I still want to thank the tattoo artist for their time. :) (Original) C’était mon premier tatoo et j’ai attendu 1h. I've been to several places for tattoos including tattoo shops on Asia and South American. The quality is way better than Oly Anger Tattoo. This place is ok if you don't mind paying a lot of money to someone who is on a hurry to complete your tattoo. I feel that the artists was not so patient and was kind of pushing the design to start the tattoo asap. The final result was ok but not worth the 120$/hr price for sure. Also, once my tattoo was done I wanted to make some lines thicker and the artist wants to charge me another hour. I've showed him the design which had ticker lines but he insisted that I'd need to pay the extra hour. I've decided to go to another tattoo shop and they made some corrections. Oly Anger is a place for tourists. I'd never go back there. I know it was a 1 artist experience but my friend also got a tattoo there and felt the same. On top, they just ask to pay on CASH.

I contacted one of the artist via Instagram first, but eventually I arrived at the studio for a first rdv to talk about my project. This is what I like, she made me come to the studio, no mail, no phone, real talk, even during the pandemic. Of course we had masks and everything went well. I was able to make sure she could understand what I wanted. The studio was super clean, beautiful, and calm. I was really surprised when I stepped in, it's huge! You can feel already that this studio has experienced, talented people and is doing well. Side note: careful where you park, I got a ticket.

I randomly walked in on a friday night. They are amazingly situated in the vieux port. JF took his time to talk with me about my tattoo project and suggested me the artist he thought would be best for the work. They have 2 shops next to each other with 2 different styles, amazing decor. They do alot of walkins. I highly recommend this place also for the experience and kindness of the artists.

I came into the shop on a Saturday afternoon as a walk-in. I was told to wait 45 minutes as the tattoo artist was on break. I had Carl. Now, I'm sure he's a great guy, and maybe he had an off day, but when we first met my first impression was definitely of annoyance. He really didn't want to be there, he was annoyed anytime I spoke up and said that I didn't like something about the size or the placement of the tattoo, he finished in less than 10 minutes and then charged me $140 for said words, with highly visible mistakes. I was dissappointed to have such a lousy time at a place that had only gotten good reviews on here.

Extremely disappointmented with the service given by Bobby. My first session he was professional,had me in a private room and charged me correctly . The second time it took more then a couple times to get in touch. He arrived late to the appointment,he was anwsering emails and fooling around with co workers. Not only that , he did not give me a room and i had to be tattooed in front of the shop with no pants on. Everyone who came into the shop seen this. Not only that he had his girlfriend there watching him right behide me. He did not clean or prep my skin. He was talking to his girlfriend looking at her WHILE tattooing me . He had to keep stopping to talk to customers coming in the shop. And to top it all off he over charged me . Extremely disapointed with the service , i wrote him an email explaining all this and he couldnt even right me back to apologize. I deeply regret having him finish my second session . Was extremely unprofessional all around.

I have to say when I left Oly Anger the first time. I booked a second appointment to start a sleeve lol. Simon Talbot specializes in picture realism my kind of style. Clean work, very detailed, perfectionist, takes his time. Listens to what you want, shows you different pictures but stays on the concept of what you want. Honest and a real cool dude easy to get along with. He answers you back very quickly. Never had an issue, honestly you can't ask for anyone better. Check him out I promise you will not be sorry.
