Out of 4 people I had to speak to/deal with, only one was friendly. One of the people at the front desk was extremely rude and made you seem like you were not worth her time. Piercer was good but also very serious, not very welcoming. Average. I would DEFINITELY would've gone to Adrenaline Tattoos if I knew of it before I came here. GO TO ADRENALINE!

Worst customer service I've ever seen. BEWARE. Their reviews look positive because they delete/hide all the constructive criticism. If I were you I'd save your money and go somewhere else. That tattoo's going to stay with you so don't risk it. Note to the owner: If a customer is unsatisfied with their experience at your shop DO NOT TELL THEM IT WAS THEIR FAULT. Instead you could reimburse them in some way for their dissatisfaction. Second of all DO NOT DELETE THEIR COMMENTS TO MAKE YOUR BUSINESS LOOK BETTER THAN IT IS. Instead, address them online professionally and make sure your employees are representing your company in accordance with the brand you're trying to establish. Hope you learn something and change the way you attempt to deal with customers. Actions like that can only run you out of business. Word of mouth my friend is the most powerful form of advertising.

Went to Yonge Street Tattoos last night to get my first tattoo ever. Was really nervous but the crew there were nothing short of insanely friendly and reassuring that everything would be okay. I was tattoo'd by Christian and it looks amazing. He was really nice and down to earth, and a really cool guy to talk to throughout the whole thing. Once I work up the courage to go again I'll definitely be going to Yonge Street Tattoos.

I got 2 tattoos done here. They are definitely more pricey than other shops. The quality ranges from good to ok depending on the artist. I'd recommend going to the mainstays rather than the ones that are there only for a year or so. Staff has always been friendly in my opinion, but these are real tattoo people. So if you walk in asking for a feather or a butterfly they'll probably smile politely while giving you the side eye. They've also started to charge for touch ups.

Got a piercing from Alex, he was so sweet, nice AND funny, he made me and my friend so much more comfortable and we had a great time! Everything was so clean and professional, we knew we were getting the best possible service done and I have no doubt this place knows exactly what they're doing. I have had my fair share of piercings and tattoos and on a whim I decided to walk in to get my one of my nipples pierced. I can honestly say that it's been by are one of my best experiences. The shop itself was wonderful and I really appreciated not feeling like products were being pushed onto me for purchase. Their piercing prices are very competitive and, as I soon found out, well worth every cent. Alex, who is their main piercer, explained the procedure and aftercare very thoroughly and made sure to ask if I had any questions or concerns he could address. He then did a wonderful job not only at building rapport, but also in making sure the piercing itself was done perfectly. I cannot recommend Alex more highly and will be back very soon for any and all piercing needs!

Had a great time here yesterday! My sister had to take her nose piercing out in the morning for a dental X-ray, and we had trouble getting it back in after. After trying a different tattoo shop I called Yonge St. Tattoos and the receptionist was so enthusiastic about helping! When we got there the piercer, Alex, took his time figuring out what had happened and the best way to go about fixing it. He managed to get the piercing in, and gave us tips on how to properly upkeep the piercing this time. Thank you Alex and Yonge St. Tattoos!

Just had an appointment with Alex last week for my vch and then this week to see if my previous tongue piercing could be re-installed. There are previous mentions of his dedication to hygiene and his calm informed manner. It is that which makes the experience one where you feel you are in the hands of someone who takes their art seriously. Both of my experience were positive. Considering the difference in the two actual piercings the constant was Alex's friendly professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend Alex and the shop in general.

I love it here. I'm not from Toronto but I commute for the friendly staff, kick ass artwork and the general atmosphere. Granted, it isn't cheap, but the quality is great. Got a couple tattoos here, (one of which needed touching up and was given it for free even though my card had expired,) and will go no where else! They're flexible, chill and professional -- what more do you need?

I had Carol (@grimmboytattoo) tat this lil ghostie on me spontaneously last minute, they had an opening and a friend and I ran over. I've had 2 other tats done by her as well and every time has been a comfortable and positive experience. Carol's incredibly talented, pays attention to detail, and is funny and entertaining, which makes the session so much easier. The studio is clean and organized, stocked with plenty of tattoo reference material (books/mags) to pick through. Am overall great location. I wouldn't go anywhere else for tattoos, 100% recommend them.

But I did go 30 mins before closing and the chick was kind and patient enough to get it done in time. I do have a free touch up which I was happy about. Thank you. Also, I respect the fact that they have a code of conduct where they don’t tattoo faces hands or neck for non covered people, in better judgement of their future decision taking.

Very reasonable prices and the artist that did my tattoo was super understanding when I wanted to make changes to the original ink print she showed me. She understands that the art will be on your body forever so making sure the client feels 100% comfortable with placement and size is just as important to her than to the client. She squeezed me in as a walk in and did a kick as job. It was my very first tattoo. All equipment is out of brand new packaging, like the head to the tattoo gun is new each time. Very sanitary and clean place. Only place I would trust to do my tattoos.

I've been here a couple of times already. I took my friend here to watch her get her nose pierced. Alex was an amazing piercer and kept my friend (who had a very low pain tolerance) calm. I came back once again on my own to get my helix and left lower ear lobe pierced. Although I was already informed about piercings, Alex made sure to reiterate the importance of the piercing process as well as the aftercare. From beginning to end, Alex did an amazing job with both my piercings and I'm extremely happy. He's very helpful and is always willing to answer any questions you have before and after the piercing process. I'm definitely coming back here for future piercings. :)

My "septum" was pierced at this store a few years ago and I continue to have nasal issues and pain from where the artist erroneously pierced me - through the cartilage in the middle of my nose on the sagittal plane. Yes, through the cartilage, and not even towards the tip of my nose but smack dab in the middle of it. The lack of basic anatomical knowledge was astounding to me, and I hope no one else has gone through the same botched job as I did. Thanks for the ongoing pain.

It's been about a year or so since I've had any work done by Alex, but, as you can see from other reviews, he is definitely the man you want to see for a piercing. If I have counted correctly, I think he's done about 14 for myself. Professional, highly concerned about sterilization of the products being used, changing gloves up to 6 pairs I believe was the highest I saw. He's got a very calming demeanor about him, which is extremely relaxing, which is lovely when you're about to be punctured. Won't go anywhere else for a piercing, Alex is the man.

Got 2 second lobe piercings done by Mike, he was very friendly and professional and answered all the questions I had. The placement is perfect and seems to be healing well. The only negative I can say about my experience is that he told me he would be down in a minute to take me to the piercing room but ended up taking at least 15. Overall I am going to go back for all my piecing and tattoos!

I walked in to Yonge St. Tattoos today for 2 helix piercings and a forward helix piercing. The front desk lady was very informative, and soon after I decided to go through with it, Alex (the piercer) greeted me. I was taken immediately upstairs, into a room where I watched Alex disinfect everything, throwing out his gloves overtime he opened a package (extremely thorough with the sterilization process). I had done my other piercings (and Tattoos) at Adrenaline, but I must say it all paled in comparison to Alex. I went last week with my friend to Adrenaline when she got her forward helix done, and the piercer was rude, abrupt and not half as dedicated to demonstrating interest in his client. The cleaning process was not as thorough and it was not done in front of us. He spent all of 2 minutes with her, and was rude the whole time. Alex spent 20 minutes prepping the area for me, and was friendly the whole time! The most informative, accessible, friendly, and intelligent artist I have ever encountered. I feel thoroughly satisfied with my experience, I just regret not trying this shop sooner! Do not even think twice, JUST GO! You will not regret it.
