Walked in and asked for pricing and was respectful and left after the pricing wasn’t what I was looking for. As I was waking out the front desk man made a smart comment saying I was looking for a $40 tattoo to the tattoo artist in the back, which I’m not but I’m not paying $100 for a 2 inch letter tattoo. I love this shop. I worked in tattoo shops a VERY long time ago and can tell when a place isn't very good. Port 13 is amazing. Every artist that works there is ridiculously talented. Rama did my tattoo yesterday but I looked through everyone else's portfolio and they're all putting out some astounding work. The place is super clean. The staff is really friendly and easy to talk to. Man, I'm so glad I found this place. I'll definitely be going back a lot.

My favorite place in all of Hampton Roads. Talented artists who always deliver top quality customer service. Front desk staff treats me respectfully and not like I'm wasting time asking questions. The atmosphere feels like old friends hanging out (but with top notch professional standards) with entertaining conversation and stories. Their flash specials are PHENOMENAL!! I have four tattoos from them and I'm not done. This shop is top notch and I will be back for more. Excellently run, highly recommended.

Bathrooms are only for customers, " i thought this was unprofessional as we were ready to spend money at this business but after this i decided to go look elsewhere. Unprofessional.

I had a lovely experience with Sierra at Port 13. At or initial consultation meeting she listened carefully to my ideas and intention for my newest tattoo and really helped me flesh out (you should pardon the pun) the design approach. The design she ultimately developed was perfect - I couldn’t have asked for better. The sitting itself went very well - she is a lovely person and I enjoyed taking to her while she worked. I also enjoyed the overall friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the studio; the other artists came by to chat, and both Sierra and another artist had their kids there. The only drawback, and this is strictly a matter of personal preference, is that I was sitting in such a way as to be facing a couple of rather large sexually explicit pieces of art, one of which was also sexually exploitative and degrading (in my opinion, of course). It was hard to ignore them, and they definitely brought the mood down for me. I am sure others would disagree, so don’t let this put you off checking out the studio. You just might not want to bring your kids...

This was my go to tattoo shop and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else before. The work done here is great and the prices are very reasonable. BUT after dealing with the guy that works as the receptionist in the front I will never go back here again. He is extremely rude and has ZERO customer service skills. I’m not a hard person to deal with at all and asked a very simple question about a deposit and he lost his mind asking “Who are you to tell me what’s going on here!?” I’ve never witnessed a grown man act so much like a child in what is supposed to be a business setting. Super disappointing to say the least.

Went there after work to see if they had some expert eyes and aftercare lotion for a tattoo that was healing a bit rougher than I would like that I got at another shop a little out of the way for me to go to at that moment, they did not carry any aftercare items. However the staff was awesome, polite, and gave me some advice to help it heal and what other lotion I could use other than lubiderm it was making my skin way to oily. Checked out their Instagram and liked what I saw. Thank you for your help. I'll definitely be making an appointment in the near future for a tattoo!

Artists: AMAZING Receptionist: he is terribly unprofessional and childish. Told my friend she couldn't change her flash tattoo because it was too "hectic." Shortly thereafter proceeded to sit in the lobby watching a movie. Until I hear the receptionist doesn't work there the shop is sadly ruined for me and then 10 friends I ran through there.

Walked in just to speak with someone in hopes to come back at a later time. I had my child with me and before I could even get in the door the girl at the desk was yelling " you can't have children in here" that's all fine and well, but one-I was holding my child. Two- I was just looking to speak with someone not stay for hours. 3- I did not see a sign saying no children. If you do have a sign saying so I apologize I did not see it.
